I know you guys are businessmen with your own mouths to feed and bills to pay, but it's nice to occasionally see something extra spent, like the $5 for the lemonade kid (all the adults knowing the good deal that was struck on the coins), and also the extra $20 he gave the old couple in an earlier video for the stash of games: when you know you've locked up a healthy profit on a deal, sometimes throw an extra bone back to the seller- it might help you sometime in the future, but more importantly it's a classy way to go.
Wait a minute, my question is why is the wife pushing to sell his stuff, especially those coins. I wouldn't sell any of my challenge coins. My coins were awarded to me when I was in the Task Force 160th SOAR (NightStalkers -"Little Birds"), 11th Armor Cavalry Regiment (Fulda Gap, Iron Curtain), 10th Special Forces, 82nd, "Check Point Charlie" East/West Border (Tempelhof - Schoneberg) every base I was assigned to, etc.; Boeing KC-135 Air Refuelers, C-17, B-787, Air Force One, and the Dooms Day Bird; - Boeing aircraft. I even bought and presented an "Army Brat " challenge coin to each of our children as a keep sake. I have so many and they are a part of my history to our children; because they tell a story. I have learned something back in 1974 while assigned with 82nd; I always have a camera to document my life for my children and their children etc. This was reinforced one day when I was stationed at the Fulda Gap, Germany. Two soldiers were at the bar, in a Rod & Gun Club talking about where they've been; I ask them to prove it. Their proof was talking over a beer (the big fish caught) story. They were introduced to a small camera to document their life for their families when they are decreased. Remember the WWII veteran's example, they have something to show for their past achievements, where they've been. You are the storyteller to your family because they will not find it on Ancestry.com or Heritage.com. Sorry for the long typing.

I take it you are a "Cold War" veteran (I served in Germany/the Balkans during the early 'aughts', and later returned to Europe as a DoD civilian in the 2010s), and I was always the under the impression that challenge coins didn't really become a thing until post-911. Because many of the old-school Cold War vets I met in Germany had never heard of them.
