    I'm proud of her. She went through an absolute nightmare and came out stronger on the otherside. I can't imagine being abandoned by the people who were suppose to love and support me.

    I wish there was enough time to get to know if she reconciled with her father before he passed on or not. To get to know how her mother got affected by the decision of the church. To find out current relationship with existing family members.

      She does actually say that they reconciled and they had a Thanksgiving ceremony for the family to know she's welcomed back home.

    The impact of what the church did all those years ago still affects her today. She still has a long way of healing. This was not a church but a cult, and I was hoping that its not operating anymore. I wish her well🤎🙏🏽

    That mission school and church caused cultural damage. Someone needs to acknowledge and take responsibility for the abuse!

      Indoctrination in such high control organisations is powerful. I used to belong to a high control group myself, which I now consider to be a cult. The truth is, there are 'rosy' aspects to being in a cult, otherwise it would be hard for cults to attract new members and retain old members. What I've learned from my personal experience is to accept and appreciate the positive experiences but also acknowledged that the negative experiences far outweighed the positives. Also, I now realise that the positive aspects of cults can also be obtained from organisations that are not cults. So that helps me keep things in perspective.
      I sincerely wish the guest all the best of luck and I hope she heals from this traumic experience.

    Relebogile is battling to hear her. I hope by now she does. There’s no “rosy” picture here that she is painting sisi

    Relebogile must understand that this lady has found a way to move on& its okay.

      I share the same sentiments, I feel like she wanted her to say somethings and the lady didn't want to say them. Even from first episode when she spoke about how that man gave her a chocolate because he did, and she was trying to paint it as though she was protecting the man by not admitting that the man had ill intentions.
      Maybe he did but I genuinely feel like Rele wanted the lady to paint a picture a certain picture.

    Relebogile does not seem to understand her guest and the way she cuts her off is not nice

    • @SibsM93
      @SibsM93 6 месяцев назад +3

      I think it's because the guest is not yet seeing some aspects of the events that happened there for what they really are and also the "church" for what it really is. So Relebogile is coming from a reasonable person's perspective while the guest still speaks for the "church". She's probably trying to make her come to some realizations, which may seem forceful.
