Nice work
Metal bender will it bend steel?
White metal coil stock
It’s according to how thick it is there are metal bender’s dick and bend heavy duty metal
Termination bar doesn't allow for gutters. Is there a drip edge available?
If you’re doing a roof like what I have and do you want gutters use a 2 x 6 instead of a 2 x 4 for the sub facia and then when you put your termination bar on your rubber leave 1 inch of Rubber hanging past the termination bar to lay into the gutter. So the only way to do it would be to buy using a 2 x 6 as opposed to using a 2 x 4 like I did
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair Thanks!
I show plywood in most all of them
Hi I have a question that kinde of roofs can puit whit out wood because some guy going to put but he SAID he going to use only glued direct its that correct
It can be done that way. I have done it. But as I learned it is better to use OSB. I do have 1 video that I did not use osb
Can you put a 15’ by 60’ rubber on a mobile home without cutting in half? The mobile home is 12’ by 57’ Would it have a better leak resistant because it’s whole vs merged together. That was my original question but I didn’t word it correctly.
You can put it up there and has many pieces you want to as long as you have seem tape
Drew's Roofing & Home Repair thank you. I’m going to try my best to use one piece. To avoid having to put seem tape. Is that correct?
Absolutely if you can get a piece 15 foot wide by 100 cut it so that it fits your mobile home that would work great. But let me tell you something that Rubber is going to be heavy
I missed the live chat! Bummer... next time I'll try and be faster to check my phone.
I hope to see you I will do it more often
and I will give better notice

Beautiful job guys !!
Thanks geneo
Great job and your work definitely beats the original roof that comes with most older trailers, and like mine that's a 1984 ,and has no overhang which means all the rain etc goes straight down into your walls, even though my roof isn't leaking,it is very noisy durring wind storms and drives me crazy as you can also see it lifting all the way down the whole length of the trailer, and I'm starting to wonder if it's become loose somewhere as on my skylight above the tub I actually saw the whole skylight rise about a inch, and had someone put small bricks around it so it wouldn't rise up/down,kinda scary to see your whole roof rise up,but it's obvious the bad winds has done something to my roof, and I've gone all around the roof edging and everything seems tight, but that wind is definitely getting in under the roof,as I've heard it and see what it's been doing,so any suggestions in how to cure this issue thanks 👍😊...
To be honest a lot of them are made loose and if they get walked on they can become looser. It would be my guess that no air is getting under it it’s just lifting by pure wind pressure pulling up on it. I have seen people put bricks and blocks tires and all kinds of things on top of the roof to stop that from happening. I probably wouldn’t suggest I would be worried it would wear holes in the roof.
@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair yeah I've had tires on one end since 2000,it collects water and have to empty them constantly lol but I do feel better knowing that it could be just pure wind pressure and thanks for responding, and PS love your Tundra as I also love mine lol😉...
Why do you cut the rubber instead of putting the whole peace on the roof?
Because it comes 10 feet wide and 20 feet wide and 30 feet wide. That would be a lot of waste and 6 inch seam tape works great never had one come apart yet
