I got a rob combo video in my recommended, searched up 'rob smash ultimate' and saw this. I don't even have smash ultimate. rob just intrigues me as a character and design. But then i see this. Its super informative and doesn't even talk about all of rob's moves. Yet its super well edited, super well presented and downright just a joy to watch. Even if you don't have the game. Keep up the good work!... I think... This is the first video im seeing that you made, after all. But still, keep up the (possible) good work. Also i like the editors choice of daft punk music. Fits well and its just good music in general.
Should also note that gyro comes back frame 1 after it disappears and will push your opponent into the direction that ROB was facing when thrown or dropped. As a ROB main, this was an amazing video to watch!

But high key this video was very fun and now I have developed a full proof strat to take on your ROB with my Little Mac, and that is just to give up. My stocks were never my own but simply a glimpse into what a competitive game could look like. Lord Sakurai has favorites and ROB is one of them.

don't forget about your down tilt! crazy frame 3 option that also ducks your hitbox. At higher percent (120 or so? I forget) it combos into itself (unless they tech it but it's awkward timing)
5:05 ROB is a solid main/secondary for me, and I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I did not fully understand what charging Gyro actually did. I knew speed, I was unaware of distance. This is probably one of the best videos I've ever watched. Not only was the writing style and music choice pure orgasmic but also put a bright spotlight on the most slept on the character in the game. The only other video of the calliper is probably Pushbutton gamings video on ROB. You mentioned some great tips like aim laser at their feet and use gyro charge shield cancel to put the gyro away while on the ground. ROBs range is kinda busted, and even when I'm getting stomped by some elite-level palutena who won't stop N-airing. I find I can always hit them even when in disadvantage. ROB has many potential that not many people would try and being a Nintendo accessory that was released in North America and in Japan in 1985, I remind you that the video game industry in America was about to crash in 1983, but proves to be successful, though it did draw short end due to how loud and slow it was due to its production in the mid-1980s and not many people were interested in ROB really. though RoB did have some popularity amongst the community for being either a cool robot or being a collector's item since it was owned by Nintendo. Also by then, ROB has made numerous appearances during its lifetime on Nintendo such as Gyromite, Stack-Up, Mario Kart DS (yes Mario Kart DS was actually a game on the original ds) and the Super Smash Bros. series. And personally, I wish many people would give Rob a chance to shine. Also, ROB being the Ancient Minister was unexpected and it being the last of his kind it's just plain sad.
I'm still a pretty new channel, so I'm very happy with how things have gone already. Just fun to get to talk about smash stuff :) thanks a bunch for the kind words and for checking it out!!

Glyphmoney sorry didn’t see this comment. It Kills rob at 70. Rob can kill pac man at 0 technically but it’s so situational and difficult it’s practically useless. Using pacs hydrant and water is what makes the gyro so strong

I have been struggling to find a high tier secondary to turn main to compensate for my poor understanding and executions of competivive smash's fundamentals. Wow, I am very sure Rob is going to be my main. He had a tool for everything and if played intelligently, can 3 stock any mindless mid level player
Finally people are starting to see ROB's value in Smash ultimate. Also I hate you for teaching everyone these tricks. I can hear my GSP trickling away xD
Lol! ROB defffff takes a long time to get the hang of, he's strong but good god his disadvantage state is rough. Once someone gets in on you they can pretty much blow you up unless you know exactly how to get out of it.

Arm rotor is also helpful in returning gyro to your control if you can read a throw. Edit: It also gets rid of daisy and peaches counters
