No, the Brutus only works with the pre-T2 Macs. Removing the firmware lock on later models is easy with Apple Configurator 2. But when istalling new OS, Activation Lock will bite you.

I have a MacBook Pro 2015 retina 13in. Can this be unlocked? Find my device somehow efi locked my device and apple won’t help unless the original owner takes it in lol
All depends on how it was locked. If it has a 4 or 6 digit code because it was locked from 'Find My Mac' then you can use the Brutus. But finding a 6 digit code can take up to 200 days.
The alternative would be to place a CMIzapper Matt card. That will always unlock the Mac.

No, those Macs will be activation locked. That is something else from EFI lock.

Will this work on a 2019 model?
It works on all Macs the do NOT have a T2 chip. So it does not work on the 2019 MacBooks. It will work on the 2019 iMac.

How can I know the password is four or more digits
Boot the Mac normally. If you are lucky you will get a screen with a padlock and either 4 or 6 boxes. 4 boxes for 4 digits. 6 boxes for 6 digits. If the Mac does not boot but tells you to wait then maybe you get the boxes after waiting (it can take a lot longer than the claimed 60 minutes). In all other cases you can not know.

The device works 100% sure, as long as the code is 4 digits (it will find the code within 2 days) or 6 digits (it will take up to 200 days). If the code is anything with letters in it it will not work. Mail to the USA takes a long time. Two weeks or longer can happen.

Correct. It will only find numeric codes. Luckily that is most of them!
How can I tell if it's a 4pin or 6pin code?
Try booting the Mac normally with no keys pressed.If you are lucky it will show a lock screen with 4 or 6 boxes. Then you know.
If the Mac got locked through the internet then it will always be 4 or 6 digits, but you don't know which.
Mines has 6 boxes for the code
If there are 6 boxes (rather than one big box) that is the account/icloud lock, rather than the EFI lock. Check if there is an EFI lock by booting with the 'alt' key held down. If there is an EFI lock solve that first. Entering the wrong iCloud code will make you wait longer every time... The Brutus finds the EFI code, not the iCloud code, although they tend to be the same.

Hi I have a question once I got the screen fixed I have this issue with the locked eif and also my hard drive is not showing up in my other mac pro. If I unlocked this mac pro a put back the hard drive will it recover it's data back
As long as the code is 4 or 6 digits the Brutus will find it. Once you have the code back all your data should still be there.
