No, no, and no! Take their screens off them, feed them healthy home cooked meals, and have them play outside more! Simple as!

We don't know the long term effects this will have on young children, absolutely no. Children need to be taught a healthy lifestyle not diets and injections.

lol why are adults obsessed with distorting the development of children, this weird obsession just further reinforces my belief that adults are cripplingly pathetic.

Forcing a child to lose weight via a drug does not change the fact that they are incredibly malnourished due to their poor nutrition and doesn’t improve their poor cardiovascular fitness and increase their muscle mass. There is a lot more to ‘health’ than just reducing their weight without working for it. There is no quick fix for an unhealthy and lazy lifestyle. Every element of a person’s life needs to be changed, not just the number on a scale. Teach the child the importance of eating fresh homemade food full of a wide range of nutrients, teach them the importance of maintaining a good level of cardiovascular fitness. Create a culture of health awareness and ownership towards one’s life.

3:01 Giving children a weight loss, drug doesn't stop the reason for them gaining the weight, if bad diet and poor exercise habits beings the cause.
Do a simple comparison with children from Japan vs UK and USA. Japan has the lowest rate child obesity, why? They value nutrition and healthy food over junk food.

In my book, letting your child grow dangerously obese is child cruelty. At a certain age, it is YOUR responsibility what they eat and choosing to do nothing and let them become seriously ill is disgraceful.

No. It's time to tax sugar and ultra processed food so it isn't the norm to eat them. That tax could go towards the NHS. Handing out jabs to everyone doesn't change the basic problem. There's a huge amount of tax on cigarettes so we need to do the same to sugar and UPF's.

If Ozempic the solution the to the most obese nation in Europe. The Danish company will be happy, with the profits, from a preventable solution that's self inflicted.

I think this could work for people of all ages. However, I also think there should be a condition such as that a patient has to lose so much weight over a month in order to receive the jab. It should only be prescribed to people who show true commitment to change and not see the jab as a cure that allows them to continue bad habits.
If weight starts to increase while on the jab over a few consecutive weigh ins then the patient should stop receiving the jab for wasting resources.
To me, I think that's the best way to encourage genuine change, even with the modern world.
