You forgot New Zealand :(
Piet - Everybody forgets NZ. & Tasmania
He forgot Cyprus too! Lol
I'm learning a lot from your videos. Thank you. Regarding the vacuum bag, I think you said in another video that this is a clothes storage bag. Is that a standard valve that came with the bag or did you add that? Also, you're not using a platen board but rather a mesh. I like it. It's simpler. Is that readily available or is that something you specially ordered for this process?
Hi Ray. Thank you for your kind feedback. It actually is clothes storage bag. Unfortunately it did not hold up very good so I made a new one from some heavy duty vinyl. You can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/ow3Hta-UWfw/видео.html&ab_channel=BellevueWoodshop. The connector is a regular push fit connector for pneumatic that I just screwed into the cap of the bag. The mesh is just some anti skid drawer liner
@@bellevuesnekkeri Drawer liner. Hadn't thought of that. Good idea. I bought a cheap clothes storage bag to test and it's been holding a vacuum for a few weeks now so I think it's viable although I'm not sure how much vacuum my vacuum cleaner is actually pulling. My test bag doesn't have a cover on the valve but I know that some bags do and I wondered about attaching a fitting to that cover. That would let me attach an actual vacuum pump to the clothes storage bag. Thanks for the confirmation of how you've been doing this. It helps a lot. Thank you.
Hi. Love your shows. I am guessing your based in Norway like myself. Can I just ask which type of lacquer or varnish from Biltema you used on this project?
Thank you Sir. I am, and the finish is Kina Olje with the item number: 36-3663. Thanks for watching and commenting
Nice fit on the watch faces! I was wondering how you were going to retain them, but they friction fit perfectly. That’s an accomplishment. (Also, awkward timing: during the two weeks when the US has started DST, but Europe hasn’t yet =) )
Thanks Josh, I did a couple of test cuts in some scraps first to get the perfect fit. thanks for watching and commenting
Great project, can you make video about laser you using how did set up (conections, feed and speed for engraving). I`m planing to get one of those lasers for my cnc so some video should help :)
Thank you Sir. Unfortunately I am not planning a more in depth video to cover these parts, but there should be a lot of good info on the web. Or just do it like I do it by trial and error:) good luck
Amazing job congratulations
Thank you Sir
That laser is a great addition to the CNC. The project turned out fantastic!
Thanks David. It is really new ground to discover with this laser. But if I am to run raster photo engraving, I might have to build a dedicated high speed laser machine. I do not want to wear out my ballscrews on this machine with all the motions this requires
Thanks for this great video, that's a pleasure to watch it ! I'm asking about LASER usage these days and I would like to know where can I find informations about the minimal laser power needed to cut different kind of wood ?
Thank you David. I am no laser guru. My 2 cents is to find a forum thread, or start a new one in a dedicated forum. Maybe cnczone.com has a subforum for lasers. Sorry that I am not able to help. I cut 4mm with this 7w diode laser with 20 slw passes. But any major cutting in would you would have to use a CO2 laser. Diode lasers is better suited for engraving, and not so much for cutting
Московское время где!?
You mist out new Zealand
NZ, Madagascar and Iceland, became to small, No hard feelings? :)
Very clever! And nice work!
Thank you
Does your Laser Adaptor fit just with friction or are there Magnets involved? Well done!
Thank you. It is a friction fit only
Er det lov å spørre hvor du fikk tak i den tynne fineren? Takk for mange gode videoer!
Masterful as always Roy. What a great demonstration of the possibilities with even a moderate sized CNC machine that is well built and has tight tolerances. Excellent
Thank you very much. Glad you liked it:)
How rude missing New Zealand, may have to unsubscribe 😉
If I draw it with a sharpie on the piece, just east of Australia, would that be ok with you:)
all done hope i win,i would be soo great to win the laser, thank you for the giveaway, good luck to everyone
Best of luck to you, and everybody else
good job...
Thanks Mike
Excelente trabajo, siempre veo tus videos porque me parecen geniales. Saludos desde el norte de Chile 🤗
Gracias
You are a artist , very beautiful but i mis new sealand 😉
Thanks....a few have mentioned that, but I had to skip the "smaller island" due to total size of piece ...NOT saying NZ is small though:)
It was very beautiful.
Thanks
wow!
Hello, how did you focus the laser lens without full power?
Hi Matthew. The laser has a fixed focal length, so I just jogged the z axis and set the height with a 18mm gauge
@@bellevuesnekkeri I bought a 4500mw laser from banggood but I didn' t find the right setting to burn a simple piece of sheet..have I only move the Z ?
Is the laser focusable or does it have a fixed focal length?
@@bellevuesnekkeri I think it is focusable
@@mattewblack6549 Normally it has a button for low power to focus, or do you run the laser with PWM/TTL? Could you send me a link to the item?
Very smooth disgn, love it! And wow what a great giveaway!
Thank you Bjorn, Have you entered the giveaway?, and I agree it is a really nice prize
Bellevue Woodshop sorry I only now see you reaction. But , ofcoarse I entered the giveaway
