"Paul McCartney left the chat"
Fr
the most iconic British bass player and he's not there :(
Danny cant copy Paul
@@mebf1093Danny does have a Rickenbacker not a hofner but it would still work
@@thebeetle1656nor is steve
Feels like this man was born with BEHS inside his brain fr
Day 19 of asking for Gary Thain Bass Tone.
@@GageTheRageGamer keep trying man and one day you'll get what you've been waiting for

Lemmy has left the chat
Lemmy left a long time ago
@@curtisholmes9988this is a joke so ima say lol

Bro 1955 made me feel like I was about to kill some zombies in town
do you know what song it was?
@@_TheBassManLivesOn_ lovesong for a deadman or something like that. Its the BO2 Zombies Tranzit GameMode Intro Music also
@@S2nppy thank you, I want to learn it on bass
@@_TheBassManLivesOn_ its probably actually earth angel but thats an american song so idk why its in here. a lot of 50s doo wop uses tht melody and notes tho so who knows
I WAS LITERALLY THINKING THAT! Love song for a Deadman is so good!! I miss playing tranzit lol
Can’t forget John entwistle in the 60s, playing it like a lead, same with Chris squire
I'd say him, JPJ and Bill Ward were the best in the period between the 60s and the 70s
John Entwistle has to be the best bassist out there, he was so talented. Him, Keith Moon, Pete Townshend, and Roger Daltery were all so talented
@@ellamayo25 he started a chain, influenced Chris squire, squire influenced geddy lee, etc. not to mention those later 80s-90s videos of him doing his best playing were completely unmatched by anyone
@@tonyrun5802Geezer Butler* Bill Ward plays drums bro
@@chancer1369 fuck me I had a stroke.
I just got off a gig and this is perfect to relax and watch
Holy shit, Symphony X!
How’d the gig go
@@thesystem4025 I fell off the stage and broke both of my bass fingers😔
oh yea all 25 seconds of it...
"It's evolving, just backwards"
was js thinking thata
John deacon left the chat
(Queen bassist)
John is an absolutely iconic bassist and I really hate when people forget about him. He's difinitely the goat
Who cares, Queen are pretentious shite compared to bands like Dr. Feelgood.

Missing Rolly Wynn from Ozric Tentacles and Mike Howlett from Gong also.
Jack bruce, john ilsley, sting, Mike rutherford
Nice to see Dr Feelgood getting recognition ! Such and underrated band !!
Yes. Nice John Sparks included. I learned lots from a tape of BBC live show. Feelgood were much more influential in 70s than typical RUclipsrs might know.
and the other feel good too!
Day six of asking for paul mccartneys bass tone
History repeated itself
1975 got the Dr. Feelgood vibe going. Love it.
The 2020 Bass player of the year goes to... Danny Sapko
I looked that up yesterday. Belated Congratulations!!!!
Behslated congratulations

DR. FEELGOOD! This is why I subbed!
Day 50 of asking for Matt Sharp’s bass tone
Jack Bruce left the chat...
We need some Boris The Spider.
I loved how you went to Sparko for the 70’s, such a killer groove in that tune.
Love Roll with it for the 95’ song
Day one of murdoc's bass tone
Great to see Sparko get some love 😎
Haha. Tears for Fears. Although that bass line really was one of the best featured
The way he impersonated Bill Wyman was so accurated! 😎👌🏻
The bass angle 👌
I like you included Gorillaz, but Blur for the 90s basslines would’ve been awesome. Alex James is the god of Brit Pop basslines
he did oasis instead :(
Agreed, his playing on Girls & Boys, Country House and Song 2 (among other stuff) is just awesome
@@andrewpappas9311 fav bass line of his is probably Pop Scene, off the top of my head.
Mat Osman of Suede is the best British 90s bassist, hands down!
@@bruceartur never heard of them, will check it out thank you!
You gotta roll with it
You gotta take your time
You gotta say what you say
Don’t let anybody get in your way.
what the song of 1955?
Tom Arya's bass tone 🥺🥺🥺🙏🙏🙏🥺🥺🥺

His tone on Reign In Blood is awesome, it’s too bad they had to turn it down cause his playing was horrible lol
@@_ifstcuvifugig His bass tone on Hell Awaits is my favorite. Tight as Hell (no pun intended).
@@_ifstcuvifugig lol his tone was awesome tho, I've been posting this exact comment on every one of Danny's videos just to get that narly tone
@@RichardDeBerryOfficiallmfaooooo
I honestly was expecting to see guys like John Entwistle or Paul McCartney for the 1960s and Steve Harris for ‘80s
The Sparko impression was very much appreciated 😂 Dr Feelgood rock!
We need full version of The Last Time (1965)
bro casually forgot Lemmy
Lem and Harris
@@stevenm3852 Nobody has love for Mike Howlett (Gong)
1st day of asking for Bill Wyman bass tone... 👅👌🏻🎸🎶
Danny. Hilarious. You have many talents.
Great stuff
Day 10 asking for Louis Johnson’s bass tone
Name of 1965 and 1975 songs?
1965 is the last time from the rolling stones
Roxette dr feelgood
When you ignored the 80’s goth scene I cried 😢
REALL
Please do more!!!
That's the evolution of bass players in general, not just British.
If they were really British, I found a heavy metal bassist in the 80's.
Bro casually forgot Steve Harris. Literally the greatest British bass player of all time.
*Ahem* John Entwhistle *Ahem*
@@shocko77 *Ahem* Paul McCartney *Ahem*
@@footballlllllllll99 *Ahem* paul is good but entwhistle is better *Ahem*
@@shocko77 ehh maybe , i mean his solo on my generation was fucking amazing
@@footballlllllllll99 yeah, I would say Entwhistle was better and he did a lot for the bass, but so did Paul
Two of the best bassists, so kind of hard to compare them
But I personally prefer John Entwhistle, as much as I do like Paul
Freaking amazing
Roll with it 👌👌👌
Usually your shorts don’t make me laugh, this one got me. Well done sir.
Give us Mani's bass tone c'mon
You need a Rick for that.
@ripperplaysclon152 I know, but I reckon Danny could get close with an hollow body
John Wetton and Roger waters are the perfect description of 70's bass
The 1985 face made me laugh. Too true, man. Too true
HE DID THE SONG FROM BLACK OPS 2 ZOMBIE MAP TRANZIT LOVE SONG FOR A DEAD MAN YOUR SUCH A W MAN
Meanwhile, Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce, Geezer Butler, Lemmy, and Steve Harris are out in the corridor having a chat
That 1975 look was very Jermaine Clement lol
I really felt for that keyboard bass player!
Waiting for David Ellefson bass tone day 4
Was half-expecting Wonderwall for 1995, haha.
I saw you the other night roxet I don't to doooooo -grate song
1995- Roll with it by oasis love the shorts keep it up 😊
And the 2005 riff is feel good inc by Gorillaz if anyone was wondering
It's always nice to see Dr.Fellgood geeting acknowledge
I love each decade make the bass esier and esier
Day 7 of Phil Lynott Bass Tone
Got black ops zombies flashbacks
You guys were killing it in the fifties and sixties
The circle is complete!
"I will wait" has a nice bassline.
Mark King and Paul McCartney are weeping. The facial expressions were da bomb

1955 reminds me of a small little bus depot in the US
That first song sounded like the song when you are loading into Tranzit in Bo2
Charles berthoud is the new era of british bassist
okay can I just say that my favorite song uses a synthesized bass and the player John Avila constantly looks like he's having a FUCKING BLAST with it?
This song ofc being oingo boingos hit Dead Mans Party
I WANT A DOUBLE BEHS
1955 got that Jack Nicholson smile.
The face on the 1985 one 😂
should do an expose on the bass player from Ian Dury !
Time is a circle
