How does its lower the patient? Do you change the level into a lower position and still need to use the Hydraulic bar to lower the patient gently into chair or bed?
Hi. Please watch the video in this link. You will see more of the lifting/lowering process. ruclips.net/video/YymKgFSqEo4/видео.html&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.your-medical-store.com%2F&source_ve_path=Mjg2NjY&feature=emb_logo
What a wonderful question. Yes, this patient lift and almost all others can be used with an amputee patient. You would most likely want to get an amputee sling like this one - www.your-medical-store.com/store/p606/Molift-RgoSling-Amputee-High-Back-Sling.html. Of course, you should always consult with your healthcare provider for more personalized specifics.
This is NOT a good neck position, the sling needs to go all tue way to the knees, and the straps can be adjusted so the person in the sling can be sitting upright
You are correct. That is what we explain in the description. I’ve copied and pasted it here for you: “ The sling used in this demonstration for example purposes only was a size XL and the proper sling size for this specific patient would have been a size Medium. Always make sure to get the appropriately sized sling for the specific patient when lifting and transporting for optimal patient comfort and safety.”
