Do you have any videos that address pain at side of hip? (probably caused by running)

The last exercise laying back and doing a leg raise. Is it common to have your hip popping every time ? Should something be done to fix this or is it okay?

Yes, this is quite common and is called snapping hip. Usually, it is related to the hip flexor tendon shifting back and forth and typically isn't something to be concerned about.

The exercises in my hip arthritis video would be good to implement. Here is a link to that video.

Dr.Tom, what are your thoughts on percussion guns?

    • @RehabScience

They can be a helpful adjunct in some cases, but like other passive interventions (massage, cupping acupuncture), should not be our primary focus. Movement/exercise, sufficient sleep and a diet that looks to reduce inflammation are much more important in the long run.

I actually feel tension in IT band. Outside of thigh. Both sides. Nothing in groin. What is that telling me?

During which stretch? That area can definitely be a region where people feel a stretch, especially in the second stretch.

@Rehab Science sorry. The fist one with both legs bent 45 on floor.

I have to lean pretty far back to get some groin stretch in the 45 leg. Mostly lot of tension in "it" band. If that I'd even correct i.d. just really limited by outer thigh tension
