IO Interactive has been posting a lot about their expansion with a HQ in Barcelona and one in the Middle East or something. I think this will allow IOI to work on two games at once along with adding more content to Hitman 3/World of Assassination. That way the transition from 3 to 4 is just as smooth as 2 to 3. If the 007 game does outperform Hitman 3, I don't think IOI will go in that direction just because of revenue. With so many HQs, they can do multiple games now compare to what they were used to. They know fans love Hitman, so ditching the franchise because of 007 performing better would be gut-wrenching for the Hitman fans.
I actually don’t understand this vid. When actually reading the Eurogamer article cited here, IOI literally says Hitman is on hiatus for a bit as they are working on new projects. I’m sure they’ll come back to it, but as of now the IP is on hold.
Hopefully they bring back Lucas Grey in the story I also hope they bring back the double wielding option, human shields,pushing people and other features which the older games had. Also hopefully we can play the previous hitman trilogy games. I hope they this time they show all of agent 47 contracts from Hitman codename 47 to hitman 3 in the End Of an Era mission. We see all of the people he assassinated in all hitman games in his nightmare sequence for hitman 3. Also hopefully they remake the HITMAN ps2 games in the current engine. Why not make bullet proof suits and a bullet proof suit which let’s you access all locations with out trespassing or switching disguises. In a new part I would like to see more missions like „landslide“ Sapienza. The concert in that Vernazza inspired village directly kicks me back to vacation, one important factor is always the dynamic of the concert sound during the live event. Another improvement would be e better and more realistic interaction of 47 with the NPCs. He should be able to communicate more according to the current role he plays with the clothes he weares. Some more take away options like throwing plates and glasses, using anything as a weapon would be great. I am waiting curios and exited.
pls do berlin again. I live there and it would be amazing if you could sit on the TV Tower and just snipe the targets and the bullet would fly for like 3 seconds. I was mad disapointed when i found out that the Berlin location is a random club in the middle of a forest. That just doesnt fit the image if Berlin.
Hitman 4 needs to let us create our own character. Agent 47 is holding sells back. Trust me. The only reason Hitman 3 sold so well is because there was nothing else to play on next gen. Trust me Hitman 4 will not sell as well unless they make it what we want. Custom character. More outfits. More story. More to do than just hide in a bathroom to kill a poisoned target. Hitman gets boring fast as hell. They have a chance but they need to improve and grow. They could have their highest amount of success obviously with online gameplay. It’s as simple as on online lobby where at a minimum, we can see each others unlocked suits. Imagine seeing someone online with a Winter Suit on and feeling jealousy and then you want to go work for it too. It needs more to become an everyday game. That starts with custom characters. No way around it.
Guys, this is not a fucking hitman game. You’re making people believe that they’re going to get something cool there’s no need to comment what you want because you’re not gonna get it.
Split screen co-op like Splinter cell conviction would be cool, but multiplayer with randoms wouldn't work. You'd just get 12 year olds instantly running and gunning and spoiling it.
Hitman has always been about stealth, if they made it more combat focused it would ruin the core meaning, plus if you want more combat, play easy mode and run and gun.

This is such an underrated series. We rarely get anymore realistic espionage/tactical action games. Ubi successfully destroyed Rainbow Six franchise.
