@MightyManofValour86 When you shoot next to npc twice or more with a sniper, they will come to the place where you shoot from. Aj did that because sooner or later, Silvio bodyguards will show up to check on him, so he had to delay them until he exited the mission.
Find it funny that I love Sniper Assassin when playing the freeroam Hitman maps but don't like playing the Sniper Assassin specific maps. Feel like it's one of those weird things where I like it when it's an optional thing you can do in the main maps rather being completely mandatory in a map made specifically for it.
The freedom of choice, it's pretty obvious that most people would like something more if it's one of many options rather than the only option and it getting crammed down your throat.
@@KentoKeiyou know theres this hitman trilogy collection you can buy on xbox, it contains all hitman 1-3 games with all the side missions and its way too cheap rather than getting all the copies seperately.

...A very nice run indeed. My favorite way to do sniper SASO on this map is to start in the ruins w/ stashed sniper rifle there as well. Grab that then back door to the virus cave. Up to the ledge above where the guard and table is. Knock him out, steal cave card there. Snipe the virus and use the card to get into the mansion entrance nearby. Head into the astronomy room and do the VHS tape opportunity to force Caruso in and alone. Snipe him and hide the body. By this time, Francesca should be coming back from the cave. Use the stairway near the astronomy room to go all the way up and then on the roof. I like to sneak into the office and knock out her personal body guard as he's leaving behind her. Hide his body... wait for her to come back around and snipe her in her office. I have to admit, using the detective opportunity to snipe her is nice though!
If you shoot the panel by the telescope, it will open the roof and Silvio will go to the telescope then you can kill Silvio through the lens, and it'll stay SA.
Dude you are actually a Hitman genius. I did my strategy in 9 minutes also suit only but without silent assassin, since I don't yet have a silenced sniper. Good work 47!
Always interesting to see how other players attack not only the overall problem, but just small actions. I need to start learning the patterns that NPC's / Guards go into when you leave a weapon on the ground as a distraction. Cool that you left the mistake with the first Tranq shot in the run, that's what it's like for everyone. Great run, great planning. :)
No, I shot at the wall 3 times to alert them. When you use this trick they will open fire and then run to your last known position which is the church tower. You can use this trick to lure guard from far away to your location, but you have to move or hide else they will open fire when they reach you.
@@AJNguyenYT So you shooting the wall alerted them and they blind fired at where the shot came from, but you weren't comprised because you were far outside their field of view? That's gonna be pretty fun to use actually, in all my years of playing the Hitman trilogy I never knew that was a thing.
@@jonolivier9126 3 months late but I would just like to add that if you do this in a sniper perch like the Water Tower in the Colorado mission, or any other similar perch that requires ladder/climbing to access, if you stay in that spot you will effectively trap yourself. The Guards once they get near the location will never leave it and will simultaneously know you are up there but can't actually see you.
5 months late, but the tranq gun has a weirdly long travel time and severe bullet drop. The first shot is probably an unlucky case of hit registration, but the second one hit as expected; the bullet dropped and hit his arm, which tranquilized him.
I think the dart actually clipped bit of the level geometry and vanished as a result. Thankfully, the uploader was able to salvage that situation masterfully.
@@0x5DA Well you could shoot his foot to make him fall but he won't die because there is no fall damage in the game so he will land below and get up like nothing happen.
@@AJNguyenYT I also think that if he does die from the fall then the game likely wouldn't consider it a kill for Sniper Assassin. At least, for those gunning for that challenge on this mission.

The EMP charge is weird in that it activates propane flasks and also destroys camera evidence I think it's the mini explosion it causes that makes the virus explode with it and destroys it along side itself
@Ryuko Matoi Naughty Dog is great for graphics, but that's about it. I've never been blown away by any of their stories or gameplay. I'd say Uncharted 2 is my favourite game from them, and that's purely down to Nolan North's brilliant performance as Nathan Drake.

at 8:40 do the guards only get alerted to your position because you zoomed in on them ? Then they lost line on sight because you zoomed out?

How did you manage to get Francesca to come out of the mansion? I have only ever been able to do that when disguised as the detective….
Turn on the radio to wake up the detective, timestamp at 02:13. The detective will call Francesca on the phone and meet up with her on the pier.
