He's a very clever idea for a character. He's introduced as this skin-deep soulles corporate yes man automaton, but you quickly realise he's actually just an insecure boy with a giant heart and rapidly becomes reagans best friend, not because he's on Reagans intellectual level (he's practically the homer simpson of the show) but because in his simplicity, he's the one person Reagan can trust. And as somewhat of a stand in for the audience, he acts as a bridge into the shows world via man who ISNT all knowing or all powerful, but rather just a simple working stiff like the rest of us.

I hope they don’t change up Reagan’s character to have her actually forgive him to that but this also would cause her to ask herself some deep questions. Like, does she ACTUALLY like working there or is it really just all her dad’s influence? The robo bear has analyzed her so much over the years and came to the conclusion that she’s not happy there. Is some self-reflection gonna reveal the same thing for her? I’m actually more curious about what the Rand reveal means for her about her own life more than anything else.

Let me tell you about Final Space. Asides from a character-driven story, the series excelled mostly on characterization and world-building. Most of them are likable, with some of them being amusing and, even, compelling. The world-building is just astonishingly beautiful. And I’m not going to forget about the VA performances, especially with David Tennant and Steven Yeun as Lord Commander and Little Cato respectively knocking them out of the park.
This is what I can say about Inside Job. They excelled mostly on characterization and world-building. The cast is pretty much entertaining and likable, especially with Reagan being a mood and Brett being a pure Best-Boi material. Voice acting is not good, but it’s amazing. Lizzy Caplan perfectly encapsulated Reagan’s character, and so does Clark Dune’s charming voice for Brett and John Di-f***ing-Maggio just amusing me with EVERY SINGLE LINE that he speaks. For some reason, Rand is the asshole character that you WANT to stay as an asshole forever. You really hate the series to redeem him so much, and you would want to keep it that way. And, it’s pretty much interesting. Lastly, the interesting world-building aspect just perfectly encapsulates the premise that the series revolves around. You get to see how these conspiracies are handled. You get to see how they would integrate into the world like ours. It really makes you feel what conspiracy theories themselves make you feel. Paranoid yet interested and immersed.
Damn, that’s too long. To sum it up, I love the show. Have great day!!! ❤️❤️

I watched the finale a while ago and I miss the show already.
The show does a really good job at capturing the atmosphere of a family. Like the show is set in the 70's and everytime any scene comes on all I can think to myself is "This feels like something that happens in my family." Even though I wasn't alive during that era.
I also enjoy how easy F is for Family's themes are to understand.
Don't get me wrong, I love shows like Bojack with it's complex themes and metaphors that you can really go to town with analysing, but sometimes I just wanna sit down and watch something that I don't need a degree in English to truly grasp the meaning of.
With F is for Family it's simple, but still delivers that emotional gut punch.

Reagan's mom made the joke, and it's pretty clear that she's very vain, misinformed and falls way too much into that toxic positivity mindset. So I'd argue that the joke was used to show not only what kind of person she is, but how she cares so little about her daughter that she didn't bother to see if Reagan actually has Asperger's, but expected her to do that.

They complement each other and while Brett's backstory is a bit flat, their specific and opposing childhood traumas and the way they influenced their characters is honestly so interesting. Also they arent pegged as romantic partners which is strange for male and female leads. They honestly read as platonic soulmates and i love that. So while surface wise Regan and Brett are foils in both skills and flaws and balance each other out tactically, as the show progresses and you get more their back story, it really clicked to me why they have built such a bond.
While they both have grown into basically polar opposites, much of their social and emotional parts of their personalities are the two opposite ends of what both stem from a deep fear of abandonment after a life time of feeling neglected, used/abused (or fear of), and deep sense of loneliness that comes with that. Regan learned to focus on what she could control - science and engineering and being a genius book wise while avoiding deeper connections because of all the potential pain associated. Brett on the other Hand, leaned so hard the other way that while charming and genuinely a himbo with heart of gold, also is desperate to please people so even if it’s supericial, everyone likes him, even when his need to please is a detriment to himself. So that he can cling onto both the good feels of being well liked (or at least dupe himself into believing/stay blissfully ignorant) as well as his hyper attachment never is jeopardized by potentially losing said connections thereby feeling what he has worked so hard to avoid - that same feeling of abandonment and loneliness.

I feel like at the beginning this show will be compared to Rick and Morty, but after watching the first episode i can see this show is something very different

I love this show. Bring on part 2. With Bojack Horseman over and Rick & Morty going downhill, we really did need this.

I’ve already watched this show twice because it was actually so good. I watched it on a lark figuring it’d just be another dumb crass adult animation and was more than pleasantly surprised it was exactly what I wanted in adult animation. Plus I love a good conspiracy theory and mothman.

I am a person who is usually not into this kind of shows and avoids them at all cost. Then I started looking for the fragments of Inside Job, and it blew my mind. In contrast to other adult animations I know that are about s*x, gore, t*rd, American stereotypes and ugly blank characters, Inside Job has actually good humour, smooth animation and likeable, relatable characters whose dynamics are really interesting to watch. It has something cool, something funny, something wholesome, and even a good drama connected to the past and struggles in the present. The creators really put effort into this, not thinking of their audience as r*tarded followers. It really is a breath of fresh air.
