Just got one of these, it’s unbelievable the sound quality and tones. Pairing it up with a Tylor GS mini sounds like a dream. It’s perfect for what I need. Great review! 🤘
I’ve got the loudbox mini which is also a great little amp. I haven’t really had a chance to use it just yet. But I have heard guitars through it at my local music store and they sound great. This micro owds like the perfect amp to take with you on a family picnic as long as you can find a park with electric. Again the micro really does have a real good sound to it.
The problem for me is that I cannot stand the sound of piezo (undersaddle) guitar pickups. Therefore for every electro-acoustic guitar I've ever owned, I've used either a magnetic soundhole pickup (such as the LR Baggs M1) - OR - the K & K contact pickups. Only THEN would I ever be able to know which acoustic guitar amps sound good.
You said the Trio Plus was "back there..." Did you mean that you were running it though a different setup, or was the Trio running through the Loudbox?
it was literally behind me, so it was "back there". it was plugged into the amp just like any pedal. i split the signal: guitar channel has the guitar output of the Trio+ and the loop/backing track from the Trio+ went into the Mic channel of the amp.
@@SeanPierceJohnson Thank you for clarifying! The only thing stopping me from getting the amp was the question of how my trio will sound, and it sounds great on your demo. Thanks for the great review!
@@arc2029 no worries! Totally get the confusion. If you do buy it, please consider using my affiliate link in the description. Helps the channel out quite a bit.
Yes, it's lightweight but you failed to mention that it does not have a battery so I wonder what the point of this model is when fisherman also has the Fishman charge.
Looking forward to these hitting the UK market. I’ve got a Loudbox Artist which I take out to gigs with a powered speaker. Going to get one of these for home
I don’t recommend it. There’s a section in the video that compares the Fishman to a tube amp. The tube amp is colored and has a vibe. The Fishman is loud and clean. The speaker is much more like a PA than a guitar cab
@@SeanPierceJohnson my use case is Tonex on an IPad which has every Amp and Pedal I could ever want,so I don't need an Amp with effects just a loud clean Amp that can play my beautiful Amp Sims and V.I.R.
@@SeanPierceJohnson I use my telecaster and run it thru a plug in. Via an irig HD. Then into the fishman. It works. But just don’t push the speaker. The speaker can play any aux signal you give it. So I’d say the speaker can handle electric guitar.

You got like 15 minutes dedicated to the amp w/ guitar and then some vocals for like 3…ratio seems pretty good. And by the way, you should know better than to insult a man’s wife directly to him…
@@SeanPierceJohnson That guy is an idiot. The amp specifically has a microphone channel so not only was he rude he was completely incorrect to act like vocals wasn't relevant to this review. And you wife has a great voice! He's incorrect once again. Thank you for this review it was exactly what I wanted to see. Already purchased the "artist" version of this amp and I can't wait to try it out once it's here.

Nice review, the vocal segment at the end was a nice bonus. Too many acoustic amp reviewers neglect this part!
I figured it would be fun
Indeed it was a nice bonus at the end as I also needed to know how good the mic sounded. Thank you
I've one. Sounds really good. Sweet and powerfull.
First!!
The loudbox mini is a great little amp! Have mine for many years and it still works perfectly
That's awesome! I've really enjoyed having this around. Probably gonna put it in the living room.

Makes sense. I’m not crazy about under-saddle pickups either. I really enjoy the sound hole pickup & mic combinations.
Thanks I have all I need about the amp. I may buy one.
Great review! Who wrote the song fine line you guys did?
We did
@@SeanPierceJohnson Nice! Is there a chord chart for it
What model is the first guitar that you used?
Good question. It’s my trusty Taylor Big Baby.

Thanks Andrey!
Great song ❤
Thanks!
It’s hard to beat a Fishman Loudbox.
I’m discovering that myself
Yes.. Why?
I plug into a guitar amp or pa. I dont have money for a one use amp.🤐🍻
Totally understand that.
And here I go with a dumb question, does it work with electric guitar and distortion?

That the steel stringer sound....it sucks
What is a “steel stringer sound”?
I have a loudbox mini that is SWEET has BT (awesome!)...
and that micro sounds like CRAP on here.
On second thought it must be your recording.
