Nice demo and review Aaron. The Fishman Micro amp sounds great and very natural. That's what I like about Fishman Loudbox amps. I fit the demographic you described. I plug in at home regularly and I love to create and jam over loops etc. I bring my Fishman Loudbox Artist to a number of shows where I can use it alone or as a stage monitor/preamp and send the signal via DI out. I also run the DI out to Bose S1 Pro Plus which expands its range.
No battery options is a fail by fishman. Especially with an amp like this that is small and portable. But other than that it does sound great thanks for your review.
@@johnwashburn3793 I like it too but I think this amp is better not having one if it means it’s more affordable and lighter. Fishman do make the Mini with a battery option.
I had Loudbox Mini and i remember it was a great amp too. I compared it with AER Compact60 and i can say little to none difference in tone. Fishman acoustic amps are just GREAT.
For a practice amp at home, would you recommend the Mini over the micro?….they both have the exact same features, what would you say are the main differences between the two of them?
You get a little more headroom and larger speaker with the mini. It also has the built in power supply. I feel the mini is definitely worth the extra $$ unless you need the absolute smallest option.
Nice review Aaron. Is your last song an original? I liked what I heard. Fishman sounds good. Can’t wait to see and hear more about the Baggs HiFi Duet. 👍

Thanks for sharing!
Electric guitars sound great through the Fishman too.
I use a mini and never get the gain or master above 12 oclock....For a mid to small bar it's absolutely fine. Unless it's really noisey!
Bar size and crowd noise is very subjective. I would need the artist version for the bars I play in.

Thank but wouldn’t it be heavier if it was rechargeable? I think the point of this one is how light it is.
Yes true but at least give the option for removable rechargeable batteries like double A's@@aaronshortmusic
I do enjoy having a small battery optional amp.I can go outside (or anywhere) and annoy my neighbors instead of my wife.

@@oldmetaldude3480 Good point but I wonder if they would be able to power it for very long…

Excellent review of the Fishman Loudbox Micro showing how it sounds and potential uses Aaron.
Thank you for watching!
Love the Loudbox in all forms.

The problem with the mini is that it doesn’t have a headphone out for quiet practice. That’s important for me.
@@im58woody Yes I'm looking for a box that allows for quiet practice too... it's a shame the Mini doesn't have the Headphone-Out!
@@Flawlless Agreed 👍

Yes it’s from my album which is available online. More to come from Baggs and Fishman soon!
The system sounds great! I've always liked Fishman pickups into Fishman amps.
They are some of the best acoustic amps out there for sure.
Excellent review! Love your voice!
Thank you!
Yep no battery is a Fishman fail
Don’t agree. It would make it heavier and more expensive which would then be the same product as the Loudbox Mini Charge that they already have.
First time hearing you sing. Sounded really good 😀
Thanks! I have done some livestream concerts on my channel if you would like to hear more.
amp sounds ok to me good price
Yes same price as a preamp so it’s a great option for some.
Wow amazing vocals💯
Thanks!
