Here's a bit of advice no one is likely to give you. You are slightly cross-eyed and it's distracting to the viewer. Assuming this video is not mirrored, your left eye is facing forward while your right eye tracks slightly inward. It might be a sign of a neurological disorder. It's also possible that it could be rectified with surgery or some other kind of treatment. Resolving this issue would greatly improve your appearance. You don't need 6% body fat. Cheers and good luck.
@@BennyOcean It’s barely visible and may be the natural state of his eyes. You’re being picky.
Applied for this program a while ago and never received a response.

😊 thanks man
Bro why your reference Alkohol😅
Just keeps on getting better. Great content brother.
Chris Nolan momento reference LOVEEE IT
This was soo relatable. Excellent narration and content. Keep it up. Had a Ghajini feel to it.
My notes :
1. Identify your one thing
To achieve success, seek out your singular focus point, prioritize your critical goal, and eliminate distractions. Find something achievable and exciting to pursue, and be ruthless about eliminating anything that does not contribute to your goal.
2. Eliminate everything outside the focal point
Eliminate all irrelevant activities or people and focus only on the things that will help you achieve your goal. Filling your schedule with good work leaves no space for bad habits.
3. Identify the best actions and multiply them
Identify and focus on the relevant actions that will help achieve your goal, be precise in your actions, and eliminate everything that is not relevant, which can create space to do the right things and do them more often.
4. Create a conducive environment and recommit to the plan
Creating a conducive environment and recommitting to the plan when needed are essential to achieving your ultimate goal. Visualize your ideal day, and put a plan in place to schedule activities that take you towards the desired outcome.
5 Ideas from video 😯
1) Identify your focal point
2) Eliminate everything outside the focal point
3) Identify the best actions relevant to your focal point
4) Make your environment conducive to your focal point
5) Recommit to the execution of the plan upping return to awareness
For any student who’s dorm/flat is not conducive with work, the library is your friend. Make sure you get there decently early especially in exam season and have like a booth or a spot you like to work at and get your brain used to associating that spot with deep work. Chuck your phone in your bag and get as much out of your time in the library as possible. I’ve found this to be most helpful when my flat was too noisy/small to work properly
I've been hitting strides with my goals lately and taking on one of your ideas of just going "robot mode" by getting up early in the morning to go to the gym and getting my morning routine on point to set me up for the day. It exactly feels like I'm hitting my focal points in this phase of my life
Happy to hear man
What are your goals?
For someone obsessed with learning so many different skills as you are, it absolutely mind boggles me that you think traveling is a waste of time... traveling isn´t just about vacationing and so on, but about experiencing different cultures, different mindsets and lives, and see how others live, what makes them happy or successfull or whatever... though you make some very good points and I do get what you´re saying, it appears to me that you´re truly only focused on achieving superficial things society tells us to go after... maybe read some books or watch a few videos by millionaires (because it seems like this is what you´re striving to become) on what truly matters in life... I don´t mean to hate... your work ethic and focus is really admirable, and as I said, you do have many good points on success, etc. ... but I feel you´re missing out on what happens, when you´ve actually achieved everything you´ve ever dreamed of... what are you doing then? will you be happier than you are now at this very moment? I think it´s great to have goals and to be striving towards sth... but for me at least, I´ve been asking more and more the question of "to what end?" "will this really make me happy"? Just food for thought maybe... also you might want to check out books on emotional intelligence, minimalism, etc. if you´re interested in those topics... maybe your world view will adapt a bit after reading books like these :)
Agree with everything except the travel part. I think travelling is a great way to get oneself out of their comfort zone briefly. It can help in reorienting the mind, meet new people, experience a new culture and learn more things along the way, which can then be incorporated back to their routine life. Travel is much more than just getting another stamp on passport, or a check-in on social media.

At this rate, ten years from now you'll be somewhere that's unimaginable for you today. We're following your lead Sinbad!
🙏
I disagree about the travel. If you are broke I understand. Edit: now if you are on a 4 to 6 month grind then i agree but a man will have that drive for adventure. Overall solid list
What a fuckin intro! Unmatched quality coming from the best. Thanks for the insights brother
My man - good to see you.
I’ve needed this. I’ve got way too much on my plate - final year of Uni, writing a book, practicing 2-3 hours of piano a day, growing a RUclips channel, composing and producing new music… it’s too much. I think my focal point at the moment is to full send the piano practice, take it up to 4 hours a day. Cheers Sinbad!
A bit lost in the sea of my own chaotic ideas and thoughts, right now you are my Sinbad man, your videos are like a sense of directions. This is a timely video that has dropped when I got my project submission a week away. I'm always on board to your content, the voyage is inspring and exciting, TQ.
Absolutely loved this video. Loved the full circle moment with Momento. And really really reaaally appreciate your explanation of "coming back to awareness." I think where I tend to get stuck is beating myself up over falling off the wagon, when what I should be doing is just getting back on, shutting up, and doing the work again. Thank you for this incredibly useful video. Greatness is coming
19:22 I don't think we talk enough about how lenient/enabling moms can be with their son's gaining weight (while generally being tougher on their daughter's weight gain). So if fitness is your goal then you've gotta be aware of that influence and strategize accordingly.
I had a feeling this video was gonna be intensely inspiring, It definitely reflected back to me my own vision of my life, and all the positive routines I already do on the daily, which is like underlying code constantly upgrading my development without my conscious awareness of it. That Hypertrophy legs quip was hilarious (that dazed state is a weird one). Having a TDL(To Do List) is one of the biggest game changers, as it grows & morphs, optimizing it for what you want to accomplish, but also how you're feeling on a given day. You hit on some of the more nuanced focal points like how your working environment feels, what is the environment/people/art around you bringing out of you (eg. are you on Tiktok all day?/ Or do you take daily walks/runs?). Last you mentioned Coming back to center, or how you put it, re-committing to the execution of the plan upon return of awareness, this is a vital step, we live in a distracted fast-paced world, so stopping to realign with what is actually important makes a world of difference.
Traveling can be amazing if you are feeling stuck or your days are too repetitive because you optimized them so much.
A weekend of travel can energize you and can be a catalyst for a lot of creative ideas.
Again it is contextual.
Does travel distract you from your goals or does it add to them. You decide.
Agree with this completely! I can understand if you're using travel to get away from problems but sometimes it can be a catalyst to get your mind out of the gutter, to ground you, to think things in a different mindset, etc. I've never had any travels I've regretted but ofc only because they were intentional and not excessive!
I agree with this, context matters, everyone needs a vacation here and there. It becomes a problem if you’re indulging by traveling every other week. At that point you’re trying to escape from something.
11:15 - Choose yourself, real friends will always understand.
Good to see you brother. And, yes. That quote definitely resonates
I'm glad Nikhil actually pointed this out!! The fascination towards travel by most folks to me always sounded crazy! (Especially when you're focused on other goals).. friends, co workers (single ones) etc all want to travel somewhere every month just for the sake of it & try to make you feel bad at times for not doing the same!! Listening to this was a blessing & revalidated that I'm not too crazy! .. (it might be "contextual" advice, but it fits me more than others who are defending travel in the comments)
I relate to this. Traveling once in a while is special but making it a constant thing makes it a chore.
I travel once every 2-5 years lol
To each their own! I totally get that the common person who travels a ton is accomplishing less in other areas of life and not mastering anything, and yes ultimately travel is a pleasure. It’s also easy to accomplish so it’s not like you’re climbing to any proverbial mountain top. It’s not building character like other difficult endeavors.
BUT… However, traveling is so much FUN! Go to Croatia, eat a seafood platter in Dubrovnik castle at the stairs where Cersei had her walk of shame, take a sunset boat trip around the castle, hook up with an Eastern European at a seaside bar at night, then the next day take a train to another part of Europe, like Prague! Get swept away in the moment. Grow, explore, discover! In my opinion, unless I go to the moon or win an MMA world championship, traveling is peak experience in life. I don’t think there’s anything better.
I get that doing too much of it will interfere with epic long term goals in life, so maybe do it sparingly. But I personally think travel goals are richer in every sense than gym goals, and I am a lifelong gym enthusiast.
I wonder if this preference comes down to ingrained personality traits 🤔 or something else that defines us
Miyamoto Musashi would agree with you guys 😅. Same with Bruce Lee, Kobe Bryant or any other master in life. Traveling is pleasure but some growth and going outside your comfort zone as well, especially if you do something like cycle across Africa or Iceland, etc
Travel keeps me going I back pack in different country’s for acouple weeks every year and I love the sense of adventure and the unknown. I saw some one say it slows you down and I agree if you don’t have your ducks in a row for some it can be a crutch but some can really figure themselves out and grown while they travel. Also don’t confuse travel with a vacation. A vacation with a hope of doing nothing and just eating and drinking yes that can really set you back.
@@swervinirvin4574 Well said. Yes, travel and adventure are nothing close to vacation. Vacation is staying a week at a resort in Cabo, travel is taking transportation from Mexico City to Oaxaca to Chiapas, discovering culture and having a sense of freedom that can’t be found anywhere else! And it does take a lot of effort.
It almost felt judgy the way he said it 🤔
Nikhil, you're by far my favorite self improvement youtuber on the whole platform. Literally no one inpires me like you do.
Man you should really write a book on all these great processes/mental models you have been describing in the last few videos. They are in depth on point and really make one stop and think.
This video has brought a thought that ive had about what ive been doing to the surface and expanded on it beautifully. The thought that im focusing on many things instead of zeroing in on one important thing that positively effects the others too. I'm afraid of dropping some focus off those things that ive been doing (or struggling to do), but I know it's for the best. Thanks buddy. Godspeed
Very nice video captain🖤. It's the same with these self improvement videos you can't keep jumping from one to the next. I'm watching some of yours from 2-4 years ago so for this type of content you're my main man. Thanks a lot. To others I recommend you do this too it helps reduce time on RUclips (important for me) amongst other things. TAKE ACTION that's the only way things get done
13%! holy fuck man. What a glow up in 2 years..... true inspiration, thank you for your videos!
Thank you man! This was one of the most insightful videos for me. I lost all their sense of attachment and obsession to my initial childhood dream at the start of this year, which, for so long, had inspired me to always go the extra mile. Now i’m in a space where I have to decide between starting out with a new goal or doubling down. Hardest thing is it’s hard to decide whether or not the first option is going to continue fulfilling me. From your perspective tho, this may end up making a big difference in my life idk we’ll see. So, thank you 🙏🏼
Feeling you on giving up dating. Had a "successful" month but nothing's sticking and I'm more interested in going to the gym in the evening rather than meeting new women.
Kinda motivated by my gym crush but also want to look and feel as good as I can. Improving my nutrition is also a key goal. I just want to be the best I can, physically.
You always get me thinking, Captain. Thank you!
Ok, I am someone that rarely comments, but I have to point out the quality of production. Amazing cinematography, good script, i mean everything. You have made a big leap forward with the video production and I hope this trend keeps up. At this rate of improvement you will be a well known film producer
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks so much
Woww Nikhil! Thank you for your Work! The Quality of this video compared to your first 10 is 1000% Superior! The Peak of Everest right here all in one Edit. Enjoyment level 1000% You have doubled down on inspiration and it really shows! Please keep your Videos coming this one was genuinely much awaited!
i absolutely loved this video I took up some great notes and plan on implementing all of them into my life. I love how you talked about personal experiences and used outside examples to explain what you are talking about. I have big goals like becoming a World Champion powerlifter and a successful Fitness Coach/Content Creator. Understanding that patients and productivity are essential will make these goals easier to achieve.
This is gold! A mountain of value explained with simplicity & structure.
Great work! Love the music.
Very refreshing to hear advice that isn’t foretelling the rocky road economically. Thank you, I love it when others are saying there is a way to kind of do a new age American age.
Love the intro, and the production value. Welcome back, Captain Sinbad! Finally your love for films is here again with the Momento tribute
🙏
Tailoring is so underrated. I get my suits made to measure now and EVERYONE notices. I get so many compliments and it’s just because it fits me perfectly. It’s subtle but really distinguishes you from all the other guys who just wear off the rack clothing.
Also, don’t dress like a bum. Just going to the store? Put in a little bit of effort - even if it’s wearing shoes instead of flip flops. You never know who you might run into. Chance favours the prepared mind.
That fucking intro! I have been watching your videos for years. But it really gave me immense joy to watch the quality you pushed in this video. Goddamn. Everything in the video as well, the transitions. What a hardworker. Kudos to your team and you!
It is not just a youtube video, it's more than that, he is like personal mentor/captain talking directly to you! Really a great one !
The other important thing about having a focal point and being consistent with it is that timing becomes even less important. If you can stick it out and know what you're doing is the right thing, you don't have to worry about hitting the window of opportunity, because you'll already be there when it comes around.
Focus and intensity = quality. And quality is always a greater factor than timing.
This video is coming just in time for me.
I didn't know it was called thinking of the focal point but I have not been achieving my goals because I am too scattered.
Please share your focal point for the next 1-3 months.
My focal point is decluttering my apartment and setting my standing desk and making a new environment for my creative work.
Hey Captain Sinbad, I have a long term goal to reach a level where I will be accepted in your coaching program.
I have been watching you for years (when you still had a day job and we’re doing parodies) and am happy for your success.
Even if I hypothetically get accepted now to your coaching program I am not in a position to benefit and get results with leverage and scale. So off to the next focal point and the next and the next…
Your RUclips videos are still very useful!
Captain Sinbad and I have found that environment is huge. I clean house, a couple of dishes, and a clean workspace can make such a tremendous difference in productivity and results.
Best of luck of King. Hopefully he and I will meet you somewhere along our paths :)
A problem that I run into is that I have so many things that I want to achieve, that even when I try to focus on one, an opportunity opens for another goal that seems like would be a waste to try to seize it an move the needle on that other goal. Then I'm focused down on goal B and then some opportunity opens up on goal A (or C or D). So the overall feeling is that I'm pulled in an infinite number of directions.
Logically, I get that the answer to this is to ignore those other opportunities until the focal point goal is achieved. Opportunities for goal B will most likely come again and I would be in the best position to take advantage of them when I am truly committed to goal B. It's just hard to keep that in mind in the moment, when passing on an opportunity to advance a goal feels like I'm being lazy/not committed.
This, i would say, is the most helpful video on the RUclips that i have ever watched! Lots of love and success to you!!! ❤
Man, this whole video and production quality from intro to the very outro - ROCKS!
Exactly what I need right now. Thanks, captain!
I wish RUclips had recommended your channel to me earlier.. I found your channel two weeks ago and these videos are so helpful it feels good to practice these tips in real life.. and I just found out that you have a Hindi channel too.. kya baat he !
Great video man. My focalpoint is successfully taking over my father’s business. Been working in the business for 2,5 years, I’m taking over 2024. The compound effect works for everything in life. At a microlevel, it’s about identifying the most high leverage task for the day and get that done. I’ve noticed that I got about 4 hours a day of high energy and creativity, usually in the morning. Those 4 h need to be sniped in on the most important task. It’s good to have that target written down the day before you get to work.
Stay Based
There’s a ton of value packed into this video. Exactly what I needed to hear, keep up the good work!
As a fellow Indian. Every single one of your videos are gold and I’m glad you are addressing these topics. Most people in our community never discuss self improvement especially for men.
Literally 2 seconds in I'm like MEMENTO! Nolan fans recognize Nolan fans haha I love it bro! Phenomenal video as always
Love the serious side of you mate, funny is also great but this is next level🙏🏼 watching from Australia 🇦🇺
🙏
My favorite thing about this channel is that it maintains its same style, while adapting to new self improvement trends
I'm a simple man, I see a Captain Sinbad video I click
I'm also on the grind to get to sub 12% body fat this year and this video really resonated. Let's kick some ass this year 💪
You hit the nail on the head for the travel aspect my girlfriend loves to travel but it is so boring and mundane to me. We just came back from Morocco and Portugal which were nice places and the experience was great but i’d rather work on self development in this phase of my life.
Love this kind of videos Nik, been watching you for years, it's so nice to see your channel grow and develop different forms of content. I am an entrepreneurial creator and I hope I can create more content like yours in the future :) Sending love from China.
Thanks for supporting the channel, Shia!
Always look forward to watching your videos bro. Honestly as a film student too I love how cinematic your videos have become. LETS GET IT!!
Travel will all under the umbrella of personal growth. Let’s say you are traveling to Italy or Japan..so for three months prior to the trip, you can learn the language so when you get there you can have basic conversations with individuals. There, you can meet like minded individuals who can expand your network! Plus, it’s an opportunity to take the family to experience something new as well. Be a traveler not a tourist.
You are so spot on. ❤ I don't how you got the superpower to read my life.
Traveling offers you new perspectives in life which you can then apply to your personal life, your growth and self development. But you really have to experience it to know. I love to travel and find that it makes me a better person, allowing me to reach my goals much faster.
I've been watching this chanel for years and it used to be that out of ten videos, one might really land and hit for me. For the last few months though it's like every single video is so dead on. Loving the growth.
dude i remember watching ur vids like an year ago and comparing it to now, i can say that they've become more mentally challenging. like i need to think a lot more and that good btw. awesome work!
Damn... the amount of work you put in on your videos is insane.
Same opinion on travel. Most " solo travelers" I have met are always somewhat lost with no real direction in life and kind of lonely even though they meet a lot of people when traveling. Not saying you cant travel but don't travel blindly just because you saw some video on social media.
It's been a while since I've watched your videos, and the content now seems to have matured so much. Not that it wasn't earlier but so much better compared to previous good vids.
Pandeyji rocks
Dude your content is really really great! I've been following your channel since forever.
Although the quantity of videos got reduced, now I find myself more interested every time I see you upload a new video.
The topics are also great!! Keep it up.
Oh boy, this content is just beyond amazing. Worth watching again and again and you will get a different taste every time you watch it.❤
I'm 18 and watch your video its so good ❤❤
Your videos always seem to come out at just the right time!
recent subscriber here. I LOVED the bit about travel.
I had a really rough 18 months, I separated from my long term girlfriend and and my mother passed away, I'm in my 30s and have no parents. People kept advising me to travel because I'm financially okay, fuck that, I get jacked, and traveling isn't going to help that. 🙏🏼💪🏼🔥
Always good content, but this is truly great. Clear, eloquent and engaging delivery! Thank you.
2:30 You mentioned Focal Point in Interior Design and that it probably comes from architecture.
That's pretty neat because actually, the word "focal" comes from from Latin focus which means "hearth, fireplace" which used to be the place to gather in households.
Like you said: The Star of the Room.
Just a fun piece of additional knowledge :) Great work, Nikhil
Excellent video. Your video definitely has that sense of precision and I like that the suggestions offered are open-ended, require critical thought and deliberate action.
This might be the best video from you that I've watched. Thank you Captain. This is very relevant to me.
Man, you are killing it... Love the Memento theme! Very rich content! 🤙
Captain Sinbad's videos these days urge me to rethink how I am investing my time across the different domains of my life. This particular video made me come up with a pi - chart to divide my time across these 3 categories :
1. daily action : things that will help me after a couple of weeks to a few years like writing proposals, professional development plans, etc
2. maintenance : stuff like my job, fitness, taxes, shopping, networking, etc.
3. long term growth : gaining deep knowledge of my domain through mainly reading
Now, for the next 1 week, if I am able to divide my time proportionally into these 3 categories, I can say confidently that I'm closer to greatness.
Thats awesome. Impressive. 😃 thank you for that.
Great video! I feel like I haven't made progress in my life since a year... it's really depressing to think about, but I'm going to try this from today on
Incredible video. Thank you for this.
This video is really well made. Keep making such awesome content sir. Greatness is coming.
The Memento inspiration intro was very smooth and natural, love that
Glad to be on this journey. Always feels good to be making progress
so much value in this video, you just put into words intuitions i started to have these past 2 weeks. thanks for that, ill def come back to it.
may i suggest that you add some sort of skincare regimen into your focal point ? i noticed some dark spots on your skin that may be due to scarring. a good moisturizer could go a long way, but i would suggest a tretinoin prescription to amp up the results. Not only is it amazing to brighten the skin and give it a smooth texture, but it has great anti aging effect (it's actually quite shocking, i suggest Jennifer Myers video on that topic, pretty convincing). Youth being as important as it is in your industry, you might want to optimize on that side as well
thanks again for your video. keep up the good work !
Gradually, then suddenly. Cheers for the editing effort :) enjoyed learning and re-learning.
Focal point actions is the key I was missing. This new perspective makes it click. Just Wow.
That sniper analogy with the sound effect quite literally made me focus while I was meditating. Love it, thank you as always my brother.
I am amazed how these videos are not viewed by millions, but that's how the world works, it just follows the bell curve.
Best RUclips intro ive seen a looonnngg time, good shit.
Thank you so much for this Nikhil, its exactly what I needed to hear.
Man bro this is really really helpful like straight forward real advice to where I a currently am in life
Thank you
❤Go on Captain. Greatness is coming
Traveling can be a meditational experience that will boost your motivation and increase focus. It gives you a taste of freedom you can achieve if you keep working towards your goal . Other than this point , all i can say is AMAZING CONTENT ❤
Invaluable content for me in this moment in my life. Helped me put some pieces together of a puzzle that I was wanting to solve for a couple weeks now. Very grateful for you man🙏 Have a blessed one👑
Always look forward to your videos. Great visual and content quality.
I love ur *watches whomever once* videos. Those r AWESOME🤣. Please do more? Also, YOU LOOK AND SOUND GREAT 😍
Keep it up brother ! Quality always
Like a vintage movie to improve yourself that really pushes you 👍🏼
Tip #5 is so powerful. Motivation fades; systems are necessary
Great Video 👏 I really need to lay out what's most important to me and focus on it like my life depends on it. For me it's RUclips 📽️ and I've constantly ended up being distracted. Now I realize I have no choice but to double down if I want to be successful.
Great timing for me. I've really been struggling to find consistency in bringing out weekly videos. I'm a dad and full time tennis coach, and even when I do have time, I'm shattered. I'm gonna make this work
You got this man! I can imagine that must take so much of your time.
With consistency, see if you can start small and only work on the essentials of RUclips video creation for the day.
You will have a hard time eliminating things of course because those 2 things are essential.
But given that, you have to be even more essential than someone who doesn’t have the same circumstance.
Cut more. Go deeper. And focus on 30min key tasks for RUclips everyday and I think you’ll get far. :)
I had good times with tennis coaches
@manojsomasundaram7022 thanks for those words man. I'm excited for the future and really think I can make it work. Just need to be patient
You can do it all Ryan, there’s a principle called “counterbalance” from Gary Kellers book “the one thing” and in order to gain extraordinary results in one area it requires temporary imbalance or counterbalance. That’s going to be the case at times with your roles as a tennis 🎾 coach as well as a dad
@techsalestransformation I'll have to out that book in the wish list, thanks man. It's tough to try 'do it all' but I've got the ambition and patience. I believe it will work out
Bro! Thank you, this was so helpful today.
some us look up to you as a mentor. keep changing lives!
Bro I rarely comment so many times on a video but this is one of those videos that I will play over and over. It’s transformational to say the least.
