Just for fun I used the car configuration tool on the Audi website, and the 2025 edition Vorsprung starts at over £70 K in the UK! but wheels looked crap in my opinion. I changed to the black edition, as the wheels look much better, chose the orange colour, and it looked epic with those black tints. But adding additional options took it to over 70K, and that's without the adaptive dampers. It looks a truly amazing car but I don't think it will get me across the Dartford crossing any quicker lol.
You need to hold down the traction control button for a few seconds and it will allow you to hang the tail all the way out without intervention. I suspect that you tested it with stability control in "sport" mode (a single click).
Just a quick reminder. Those guys who force car companies to obey the regulations & emissions are flying with private jets, driving 50-70 year old Mercedes, Rolls Royces etc, eating steak multiple times a week, doing whatever they want...It's not about the environment, it's about the control.
Put deposit on one back in September to replace my disappointing 2022 M240i. Wish they would get their act together and start giving out allocations in the USA.
And I thought the Infinity’s grille was bad…….DAMN…..this one is OBSCENE !! I adore fine automotive engineering. I own and drive a Corvette and a Porsche Carrera. The Audi is in one of those finely engineered class of cars….but….BUT, I firmly believe that if your design work gets this far “off center,” it doesn’t matter how well they perform…..I’m not interested. “Not In My Driveway.” 😮

Base price if this 5 cylinder Audi RS3 in UK is 60k. Instead, for value for money, purchase a 2019 shadow edition 6 cylinder 360 HP 500 Nm torque m140i with low mileage for around 22k, spend 5k on suspension modifications making it abot 90% of an M2 handling performance. Much more fun to drive as a genuine rear wheel vehicle compared to heavy all wheel VW golf R.
No one is cross-shopping a brand new facelift RS3 with an old M140 and a mod budget, totally different cars for different buyers. You may as well have said buy a shopping trolley and attached a few rocket boosters.

Difficult to compare , I guess the car was not run in yet , which fuel 98 or 102 (should make a slight difference) , tyre pressures (Audis high or low carriage setup ?, also launching in dynamic mode is quicker
So - how would you judge RS3 vs new S3 vs M3 vs M340i? (I am considering these cars as my new daily, where S3 is cheapest, M3 best but most expensive and M340i is a middle ground between RS4 and M3 and... new S5 came as almost perfect daily + long runs + a lot of comfort and lack of acceleration :) )
You’ll regret it 12 months after switching. The RCF build quality, power, sound; actually everything is better. The RS3, is just new trending, and German, which has been synonymous with terrible quality for years now. I get caught up in social media and releases as well, but don’t let your financial security and bank account suffer for a car that will immediately fall apart. Now if you want the RS3, keep the RCF and have the RS3 secondary. That’s what I want to do!
Mate, do you think this is worth an upgrade from the original 8Y RS3? My Mrs has one, and I have a A45s facelift, and for me, the Merc beats the Audi in everything other than low speed engine tone. Does this facelift make this variant more engaging/bring it closer to the A45s?
