they need to set this up at the road corse at daytona, then run all the nascar guys during speed weeks. imagine 40 of these things, same format everything just 40 of them :)
Help me to understand, why these guys take 20 seconds out of the final lap or any lap, to go back to replay an incident?! Why not wait until post race to show high lites? I'm sure I'm not alone in my disappointment.
I'll tell you what,, all the time spent going back to watch replays of a few bumps and hits is very upsetting, taking away from the very few laps of live action. It's the the last lap, hey let's watch some replays,, OMG!! Show the replays during the comp cautions or when the race is over!!!
Good spectator fun to watch . But this isn't very competitive as a sport .. Fastest to the back AND lame caution laps ..Too much of a show than a sport .. I'd like to see this going a few steps further , Half street and half off road ( like rallycross ) .
It is more of a crowd pleaser than a proper race .. If there were points given for the top 4 at the caution laps , then I would look at it as a competitive sport , as it is it is too much of a show
They did have some races that you can watch which are 50/50. Problem is just finding somewhere to set up such a course. Also, I think Gordon built this series specifically for spectators. The jumps (which are mandatory last I checked) cost a lot of lap time, but it wouldn't be as entertaining without them.
Yes, but it's great fun to watch as a prelude to real racing cars later on. This is exciting even with just twelve pickups. Can you imagine if there was a grid of thirty . . .

Why does hynes always start at first and end at last in every race I've seen so far.
Does anyone else wonder how their rear view mirrors stay in position as they jump 10 ft high and come down hella hard?
Wish they used at least variations of stock chassis from manufacturers, These are just tube frames suspension and engines.
