When you purchase a label on Pirate Ship, does it update the tracking info on eBay automatically? Also, don't forget that eBay charges more to the buyer on shipping if the buyer pays for shipping. That jacks up the overall cost to the buyer. In turn, it affects how likely your item will be bought.
Thank you for the comment. Yes, PirateShip allows you to integrate many of the online ecommerce platforms used. For example, my account is connected to eBay, Shopify, and Etsy. Pirateship is really great because it gives you important shipping analytics conveniently at no charge. What do you mean eBay jacks up the overall prices? I'm not aware of that. From my research and trial and error, with a Top Rated Seller account on eBay, my shipping costs, primarily international label fees are reduced about 10% from PayPal, USPS (direct), or PirateShip label charges. I'm not sure how you have eBay calculate the cost to buyers. You should have a shipping profile where you have a fixed rate, free shipping, or rate tables (maybe this is what you're talking about). All of my domestic buyers are charged $8 shipping for my items, and eBay dos not charge my buyers any more than that.
@@vintagewatchhunter Thank you. I just found out that you have to make label for each item before you send it to FBA. Then you have to pack and ship them to FBA. A lot of the videos (if not all) DO NOT account for this overhead. Why?
@@vintagewatchhunter If you buyer pays for shipping the seller get charged a Final Value Fee on Shipping look at your ebay account under fees. So you as the seller you are being charged fee on shipping when the buyer paid for shipping.
@@FaTaL1h Yeah, definitely. eBay's final value fee of ~9% is also applied to the shipping charge. I believe this was added a 7 or so years ago because sellers started listing products for .99 cent Buy It Now with shipping of $199. They were cheating the system, so eBay started charging on shipping. Did I say in my video that eBay wasn't charging a fee on shipping? Thanks for watching!
Hi John, i was going to use pirate ship but they want my credit card info and do not have automatic Paypal option... they want $100 min sent to them if i manually want paypal option... do you know any other shipping options that use paypal for payments, just like ebay does? thanks
Does who pay insurance? You can buy insurance through USPS on the pirateship website, but pirateship doesn't offer anything itself. I'm guessing they just capture .5% fees or something from each purchase of USPS labels.
I've never heard of that. I just went back to my Pirate Ship account and could not find any information about a trial period. However, I do know that stamps.com is $17.99 after the trial. Is it possible you're thinking of that service?
@@vintagewatchhunter Hi; you were right found out I clicked on Pirate ship and was sent to stamps.com. I just enrolled on Pirate Ship. Thanks for your help. Have a great day.
@@rebeccashetter2309 Not a problem, thank you. I've tried Stamps.com as well and have left it quite immediately. Pirate Ship works perfectly and super easy to use.

Good job sir. 👍
Thank you so much. I hope this information was helpful!
I ship domestic packages 2-5 lbs using FedEx Ground or UPS Ground and am using eBay shipping. Is pirate or Shipstation less expensive than eBay?
How much are you paying for a label for that cubic service?

eBay doesn't offer cubic priority, that's the only thing I use on Pirateship, the rest it seems Ebay gives better deals
You didnt account for the Etsy Orders pushing your final number on Pirateship up higher than eBays total?
I did. Still higher than eBay if you have the Top Rated Seller discount.
30 in one day. Drooling
It takes years and scale to get there, but don't worry, you can do it too! Now I have to do at least 10 a day just to stay afloat.
Pirate ship is 17.99 a month after the free trail?

really? is that logo really that important?
Pagal
Bullshit. Doesn't apply to most shipping types
I cannot confirm or deny your claim. The evidence from my shipments is clear. I'm not sure about other products...I only sell what I sell.
