    it looks like they take care of their properties.i would not mind living there if i could move to Florida.I am poor too,but educated and clean.i can't stand the nj city i live in. The nastiest,filthy,selfish people ever.Being poor doesn't mean you need to also be dirty,loud or dwell in drama or crime.

      this area WAS great years back, but sadly drugs are destroying rural america its sad to see it make its way to our region. the people here are poor but VERY decent.

    Moore Heaven reminds me of Indian Town.
    Moore Heaven has not gotten discovered yet. Sebring and Lake Placid got the first bid. But its getting real expensive there and it matter of time the population wave will come. Good time to invest.

  • @Steven_Falcon

    The dirt roads were there first. The homes are in distress and their property taxes are low. Pave the roads and the assessments and higher property taxes would be something that the residents couldn’t afford.

    There is a great financial transfer from urban areas to rural areas. If a village has declined to a gas station and a dollar store, let it end. They deserve better, and that better is not in a good old boy town. You should do a video on the most segregated and integrated towns.

    This video is not correct! The reason those roads were not paved had nothing to do with the color of peoples skin. This is a typical video of someone that don’t know what they’re talking about. A matter of fact, the reason why they are not paved is because they were waiting for City sewer and there were some issues with that area being the largest minority section of the city. By the way, this area that we’re talking about is not even in the city, it is a community separate from the city, but the city has chose to take care of it. None of this has to do with race. Also, this is not an all black community in fact, most black people do not live here. The majority of Black people live in other parts of the city and of course they are paved already. This area was going to be the first area of all the city to have new sewer lines but there was other issues involved, one including many of the black people had already moved from this area and therefore lost its designation as the largest minority group, which was going to get sewer lines first. Long story short there’s a lot more to this than what this person knows about, but it’s so easy to use race as the reason why this or that is done or not done.

    • @robertduran178
      @robertduran178 Месяц назад +1

      @DonLorgin-l8b I agree 100%. There are places like "Park Land Florida" where there are unpaved roads, and the cheapest home is probably worth a million dollars. So it's not a black or white issue.

    Minus not having a grocery store, I wouldn't mind moving there. It's right next to Lake Okeechobee, and it's a small town.
    This reminds me of Cairo, IL, except for the paved roads. Until our current governor took office, Cairo was a food desert, like this town. One of my former coworkers was from Cairo and moved out. His HS principal told his class to move out of Cairo, that there was nothing there for them.
