As a licensed cosmetologist, I only let my friend of 7 yrs (who is also licensed) & you give me any hair/product advice.. anyone else can SAVE IT 😭😭.. also love the haircut looks so good on you ❤
Your channel turned me on to Creme of Nature products a few years ago. I recently started using the Curl Activator. It is what my hair has needed for a long time. I have 4C hair and it gives me lasting moisture, texture, and curls without the sticky goopy glycerin feel. I absolutely love Creme of Nature products. Thank you, thank you, thank you for introducing me to them. They're my favorite go to products now.
The fact that you kept sipping on a straw that was in a glass filled with nothing but grapes is hilarious. And then finally towards the end you had a Dunkin Donuts cup with something in it. Your sense of humor is something else and appreciated. Your girls have grown so much. And I wondered whatever happened with the 4U brand? I saw some influencers featuring the products when it first launched. But haven't seen anyone continuing to use the products. Maybe they could do a reformulation or something. Idk.
Just an update here! Still love the TGIN MS, however, I got the honey curls custard as a Christmas gift and it was not the same as I've had in the past. It looks like a gel and has color. My great hairs don't like it! Had to return to the store!
I love your sense of humor in your very informative videos. I’m really helping my granddaughter with her hair finally and she’s trusting me. Her hair is just like your oldest daughter’s hair. Thank you so much for your time and educating us. Keep us smiling too 😊
Thank you for sharing these hair products. Your daughters are gorgeous!!!! I luv it when your videos come out because they are very useful and to the point. We ❤ you, Linwood.
😂 you had me rolling with Soul Glow, and my mother putting towels on the back of the sofa when my SG friends came over. Great reviews, we have 3 diff textures up in my house, from straight to coils, we are all about multi texture products.
Thank you for the video ❣ its great to see some affordable product options! Your girls are so beautiful, and I know you're a great dad !!! ❤ Happy New Year 🎉 🎈
Thank you for reviewing all of these products. Of course with laughs sprinkled in. I am going to save this video for future reference. Happy New Year Linwood and to your adorable daughters!🎉
Hey Family! 🎉😊 I am a Recovering hair product and weave junkie..lol And I am a Stylist. I Have tried MANY hair products. Its funny bc I find the Cheaper Costing, Old School Products are the Best! Thanks for Sharing. Be Blessed.
I had straight hair with a large curl pattern until it grew back after chemo. I now have 3B curls. It's quite a learning curve. This video is definitely going to save me some money. I'm constantly buying new products, try to figure out what works, and what I need for styling now. Love your videos.
I use the Royal Oils shampoo, conditioner, co-wash, for my natural hair and itchy scalp. I love this one. Your babies are beautiful. The oldest has hair for days. Mine is salt & pepper, super coarse and thick and dry. I am also tender headed. You’re giving me new product to try.
I absolutely love you! I just discovered your channel YEARS too late, but hey, I'm here now! Thank you for all you do! I'm obsessed!!! As you can see in my thumbnail profile pic, I've had my hair bleached and now, I'm feeling the effects of it! I have damaged my curl pattern beyond belief. My hair is 100% straight, except for new growth, and it smells like sulfur everytime I wash it. I'm slowly learning through your channel and your babies are adorable!!!🥰🥰
So glad to see you back🎉 The girls are beautiful!! You have helped me in my hair journey to grow my thinning hair back at the crown of my head. It's doing really well with those giovanni 2chic products. Thank you so much for your information and the correct way of applying the products!!!!!❤❤❤😊
OMG the girls are getting so big. I love your hair product and review videos. Thank you for doing it. So helpful to have this as a reference for future purchases. Have a great New Year. ✨⭐️✨
Linwood, you have always steered me in the right direction regarding my styling. I had to watch this video to get a recommendation on a creme cleanser (sudless moisturizing shampoo to follow after clarifying). Also, the girls are growing up right before our eyes. I can see Alison and your features even more in their appearances.
OMG, So much information. I have already clicked on your links to purchase the cream of nature products. The Giovanni products are already out of stock but I will wait and purchase them later. Thank you so much for sharing.😅
Great video. Can you please do a video on how to shampoo your hair in box braids and hòw to keep it hydrated. And also what to do after you take your braids out. Thanks. God bless ❤❤❤😊
Speaking of Black-owned products, I use the Swirly Curly hair line. The shampoo and conditioner are my favorite. I use the gel and styling cream also. They smell amazing too. But again, I like the shampoo and conditioner the best. Will you do a review on their products?
Thank you for all your videos! Here's a question for a future video: What is your guidance regarding the use of steam flat irons and infrared heat styling tools on type 4 hair for consumer use? Are these features just hype or are they actually beneficial & worth the price to protect the hair? Thanks so much!
I’ve been using the Giovanni line since you first reviewed it. I got it for my daughter who has thick sandy brown hair and started using it on myself. Our hair loves it. The Doux works good on her two strand twist as well. Your product advice be on point.
I have fine stands but high density. Its super soft and spongy. Curls look great on day 1 and a flizz monster on day 2. Gel seems to make it too hard for my liking. Curl mousse works well but again its a frizzy mess after day 1. Im going to try this. 💜
Happy New Year GlamFam!! I've tried some pricier products you know something FB or IG made me try, LOL, and I'm not totally happy with them. Thank you for the product reviews. Looking forward to trying the Ashley Marie Collection and Cream of Nature lines and I have used the Doux's Bee Girl line love it!!
I've been looking for new products. I started the cream of nature products after watching your videos and fell in love with them last year. But I like to alternate products. Thanks for this video.
Love watching all of your informative video's, especially with the added humor. What products would you recommend for those with hair lose who can't use the traditional shampoo and conditioner for moisturizing because of sensitive scalps?
👍🤩💝I appreciate your commentary on each product. I think I will circle back to Giovanni. One product I never hear anybody talk about is Noodle Head. The Beyond The Zone (BTZ) curling cream works for me & has worked for me for many years. It probably has “bad” stuff in it but it works for me. 😂 👍🤩💝The girls are beautiful & growing up so fast. Enjoy every minute because pretty soon they’ll have lives of their own.
❤Thank you for doing this! I have been very curious about some of those brands and products. Excellent video, very fun and informative. Please keep doing what you do ❤
Thank you so much for these recommendations, especially the gels. And yes I cracked the heck up with EVERY Spingebob reference and the Oregon Trail to hellllll 😂😂😂😂😂
I cant use Wetline since it burns my scalp, but thankfully the Aunt Jackies ice curls does what Wetline did without the burn. I love the Creme of Nature Shampoo but the conditioner doesnt do much. Because of you, I ordered the 2Chic conditioner and I love it. I may try other things in the line soon.
I have a tried and true formula but you know I have to watch whenever you post something! As a recovering product junkie, I vow not to experiment with any new products. At least until I have some space in my cabinet…. 😂
The giovanni 50/50 balance conditioner is really good too! Not sure if you have tried it but you should. And its silicone free in case you have clients who complain. Lol
I'm about 63. 3years ago I cut off my thigh length dread locs after 20yrs. I got a buzz cut. First year I did nothing. As my hair gew I started watching youtube. Watched you a lot and any video I could find on 4type hair. I brought LOTS of products and oils, butters, gels, clays etc. I also tried a few methods. I finally found that every product I brought works as long as I follow a simple regimen. And that is moisturizing and sealing a few times a week. I have a 4 a, b, and c hair. Fine strand, high porosity. In 3years I gotten my hair to grow to armpit length at 62years old. Washing (shampoo type don't matter)Moisturizing and sealing a few times a week. Also Keeping it in medium braids pulled up to protect ends of hair. Moisturizing and sealing those braids and co- washing or just water drenching the braids. Keeping it simple and hair is growing. I come from the old school of grease, hot combs, and relaxers. Always had not quite to the shoulder hair or shorter until locs. I figured if my loc hair grew so long why can't my loose hair. By keeping it simple my hair is growing. If I can do this at 62. Young girls who have years can do it more easy if they would just except their hair and keep the regimen simple.and realize it's gonna take a few years.
This does feel like the old days. Missed all your silliness ❤. This granny has named her whites, tinsel, for yrs 😂. The education you bring to my family A++! My household lives in rural location that is not diverse. PLEASE, State Boards, update your requirements to include more education with textured hair! In this household, we have three redheads, two of which have high porosity curls. Without proper care, can we say, Bozo The Clown? Blessings to you and yours, in the New Year!!
I've been using Alberto V05 clarifying shampoo, and Creme of Nature's Butter Blend and Flaxseed conditioner consistently since the blend came out. The Honey line looks interesting. It would be a nice change to go back to Giovanni products after 20-plus years. Gorgeous haircut, sir! 😊
Glad you did the 4U review, I bought the conditioner and was not sure even if I wanted to use it so I returned it to Walmart. I have the Bee Girl gel and that gel has alot of hold, so much so that my hair stayed clumped together. I'm interested in trying their mousse.
Very entertaining. And to know you are just a nice dad makes the videos even more fun to watch. Me and your favorites never get along. Maybe I used too much of the Cream of Nature Pure Honey Curl Actvator? Does it work with your older daughter's hair? The extreme gel is too heavy for my hair - I do like it to slick back my edges. Again, maybe I'm using too much. Hair is weird. My hair does like the kinky curly knot today gel, but I've never heard you talk about that one.
Dove, I wondered about that line. I'm adding it to my list as a possible perm item for my shelf. I was using Earthtone Naturals, but can't find it anymore. I just had a stylist use a plant based line and my hair seems to like it. I need to hone in on a few products vs a shelf unit of products lol. Lately it's been coconut Blue Magic for oil and a mix of Carol's Daughter, Aveda, and Beekman 1802 for shampoo and conditioner.
Recently discovered your channel and so happy about it! Very informative information here. Question: any product suggestions for a two year old girl, 3b/3c curls? It’s like her little curly puffs stays moisturized, however her sides, nape, and edges really dries out after one day. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thx
Absolutely loving your channel! ..commenting from Aus here. We dont have a lot of a whole of access to good products for textured hair in our stores. Whats your general opinion on Mielle Organics' products?
Happy New Year Linwood and all the rest of GlamFam! Looking forward to more of that razor sharp wit of yours, Linwood. Gotta love it. Yeah ,those Spongebob references were definitely "thick" too funny😂😂😂Thank you for brightening my day. Much success for the new year. I love your content.
Hey Linwood AMAZING VIDEO. for a video suggestion for the the future can you please talk about recovering from protein overload and the steps we can take?
Have you tried any of the Arbol Verde brand products? I seen them at Walmart they seem affordable with $3.00 gels and $7.00 shampoos. Thanks for giving us affordable options.
@GetGlamFam May I ask you how do you refresh with the mousse? I noticed after 1 or 2 days my hair is more frizzy. Less defined and wild looking. How to preserve the curls better? I'm using The Doux Def mousse texture foam.
I personally use a mist of water, or steam, but the hair still fills out day by day with mousse. If you want an additional hold without the crunch of gel, coat with mousse first, then lightly layer a gel over top for some added hold. 😊😊
@@GetGlamFam Thank you so much for answering. 😊 I already mist it with rosewater or distilled water. But that makes my hair frizzy. I then follow up with applying more of the mousse again.

@stacyh.1862 you're hilarious 😂
Shouts out to all those who paused to see all my inappropriate Spongebob references! 😂
😂😂😊

Took me like 45mins to get through the whole video 😭

I miss ole school Cream of Nature in the beige bottle. The slip and detangling was awesome.
This is off topic but…Your skin is the bomb and your girls are growing up. They’re beautiful!
The girls have grown so much ❤ Happy New Year, GlamFam. Thank you for this video. The hair gem I found this year was TGIN❤😂
I have yet to try TGIN, but I’ll have to add it to my list once I go through some of these!
love TGIN Moisturizing Shampoo as my AP, and love the honey curls custard!
Just an update here! Still love the TGIN MS, however, I got the honey curls custard as a Christmas gift and it was not the same as I've had in the past. It looks like a gel and has color. My great hairs don't like it! Had to return to the store!
I came for the pettiness, you never disappoint. Still using the Giovani line. Interested in the dollar curl club. Omg the girls are growing! 💕💕💕
Thanks for sharing and showinf the different hair types with the family!
My absolute pleasure fam! Thanks for watching!
I love your sense of humor in your very informative videos. I’m really helping my granddaughter with her hair finally and she’s trusting me. Her hair is just like your oldest daughter’s hair. Thank you so much for your time and educating us. Keep us smiling too 😊
I'm a new subscriber and a sincere welcome back and thank you for recommending the Giovanni products! My fine dry hair is now super hydrated.
My joy! That line is a game changer!
Ms. Jessie's is so freaking expensive. It was my product "treat" when I first went natural. It was also the only game in town back then.
Yeah it’s really pricey. Most people love the line, but it doesn’t meet most budgets.
I only buy when they're on sale and I buy in bulk! I caught a 60% off all items one day
Soo glad to see your suggestions back again thank you very much.❤😊
Girl, yes! $21 for a leave in?? Ma'am. Ma'am. MA'AM.😐
Thank you for the video ❣ its great to see some affordable product options! Your girls are so beautiful, and I know you're a great dad !!! ❤
Happy New Year 🎉 🎈
Not the “Soul Glow”, thank you for making me laugh and reminiscing about the movie and the hairstyle❤
lol my joy fam! Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for reviewing all of these products. Of course with laughs sprinkled in. I am going to save this video for future reference. Happy New Year Linwood and to your adorable daughters!🎉

I Have tried MANY hair products.
Its funny bc I find the Cheaper Costing, Old School Products are the Best!
Thanks for Sharing.

I had straight hair with a large curl pattern until it grew back after chemo. I now have 3B curls. It's quite a learning curve. This video is definitely going to save me some money. I'm constantly buying new products, try to figure out what works, and what I need for styling now. Love your videos.

"You can take the Oregon Trail to hell"..😂😂
lol that’s for all the folks who love to argue online 😂😂
OMG the girls are getting so big. I love your hair product and review videos. Thank you for doing it. So helpful to have this as a reference for future purchases. Have a great New Year. ✨⭐️✨
Glad to see you back! Thank you for the product review and recommendations. Appreciate you keeping us glam😊
Product junkie here!!!! Helppppp 😫😫😫😂😂 but can't resist watching this video 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Gotta LOVE glam. He's the TRUTH
Linwood, you have always steered me in the right direction regarding my styling. I had to watch this video to get a recommendation on a creme cleanser (sudless moisturizing shampoo to follow after clarifying).

Thank you, Linwood! Happy New Year!!
Oh my goodness those girls are adorable, priceless Sir you are blessed and highly favored
Giovanni is my go-to thanks to you. My hair is so healthy, and thank you.
Great video. Can you please do a video on how to shampoo your hair in box braids and hòw to keep it hydrated. And also what to do after you take your braids out. Thanks. God bless ❤❤❤😊
I’ll add that to my list!
Thanks again for the most honest and comprehensive product recommendation videp.
Your daughters are truly beautiful, sweet personalities!
The African Pride Products I love and the Doux mousse def❤️
Speaking of Black-owned products, I use the Swirly Curly hair line. The shampoo and conditioner are my favorite. I use the gel and styling cream also. They smell amazing too. But again, I like the shampoo and conditioner the best. Will you do a review on their products?
What's your take on texturizers? Do they last any longer than they did years ago?
Thank you for all your videos!
Here's a question for a future video:
What is your guidance regarding the use of steam flat irons and infrared heat styling tools on type 4 hair for consumer use? Are these features just hype or are they actually beneficial & worth the price to protect the hair?
Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing! I love your knowledge and humor. Beautiful daughters too.
I’ve been using the Giovanni line since you first reviewed it. I got it for my daughter who has thick sandy brown hair and started using it on myself. Our hair loves it. The Doux works good on her two strand twist as well. Your product advice be on point.
Thank you so much for sharing. I use the Giovanni to chic line and I’m pleased with it.
Such a pleasure! Yeah that is a staple line for me!
@@GetGlamFam you’re welcome!

Im struggling with gel looking white on my scalp. Ugh. Thanks for this video. Always good advice!!
I had to stop using gel,I use curl max activator and Blue magic hair grease or Softee bergamot hair grease

I like the Curl Peace Grip glaze. It works well for braiding.

I bet you have a great diet and drink a lot of water!!!
"The Oregan Trail to Hell." I got save that for the next Karen.
Given your descriptions, I'm thinking the 4U line will work well for my mom. She's got oily hair and a loose curl/wave.
Happy New Year! 🎉
Yeah I think it’s ideal for her hair, honestly. Happy New Year to you too!
Happy New Year🎉 Thank you SO much‼️
Thanks for the product reviews. I was hoping you'd review products for us grey curly girls. Happy New Year, Peace and Blessings!
Recently discovered your channel and so happy about it! Very informative information here. Question: any product suggestions for a two year old girl, 3b/3c curls? It’s like her little curly puffs stays moisturized, however her sides, nape, and edges really dries out after one day. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thx
Thanks for your honesty. Happy New Year to you & your family. Tfs.
I can't with you and these memes 😂 ok now I'm going to continue to watch the review your channel has help me a lot 😊.

your channel! ..commenting from Aus here. We dont have a lot of a whole of access to good products for textured hair in our stores. Whats your general opinion on Mielle Organics' products?
I need an intervention, I'm a product junkie🙋🏽♀️😩🤣💚💚💚
Happy New Year Linwood and all the rest of GlamFam! Looking forward to more of that razor sharp wit of yours, Linwood. Gotta love it. Yeah ,those Spongebob references were definitely "thick" too funny😂😂😂Thank you for brightening my day. Much success for the new year. I love your content.
Enjoyed this favorite product line video❤
Creme of Nature is a great product I like the Argan Shampoo!
Hi Linwood. Can you recommend a good brush to use to blow dry relaxed hair?
I don’t need a thing in this video, but I just love listening to you!!!!😂😂😂😂😂❤Thanks
Circa 2012 videos are highly appreciated lol great review video
I love your hair cut !!
Good review! Thanks!
@GetGlamFam May I ask you how do you refresh with the mousse? I noticed after 1 or 2 days my hair is more frizzy. Less defined and wild looking. How to preserve the curls better? I'm using The Doux Def mousse texture foam.
How do you refresh Mousses and Foams?!
I then follow up with applying more of the mousse again.
this is so helpful. i’m glad i watched this.
