With Marcel Pronovost, Allan Stanley, Tim Horton, Fern Flaman, Bill Gadsby, and Doug Mohns on Defense, with Sawchuk and Bower in goal, while being backed by the Punch line and the Kid line. I'm sure God and the whole gang in heaven are enjoying the show.
Ted Lindsay’s performance on the ice gave him the most well deserved nickname amongst athletes. He was indeed terrible, the guy could not skate, could not score and could not dangle. All he was capable of doing was delivering cheap shots and disrespecting his coaches. Good riddance, I’m glad he’s gone. He’s going to hell as he deserves it. One of the least respectable players of all time, Ryan Callahan is miles better than him.
Ron Bonora 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You can’t use Stanley Cups titles to compare who is the better player. Championships are team achievements, it doesn’t reflect on a players’ individual quality. Evgeni Malkin has 3 Stanley Cups but does that make him a better player than Jack Eichel? Absolutely not!
Ted also was a volunteer hockey coach at Detroit Country Day School in the '70's. Some of his players told me that if they still had ice time remaining after games, Ted would take them back out on the ice for more drills. I met Ted, Sid Abel and some of the other all-time Red Wing greats when I attended the Detroit Red Wings Old-Timers Hockey School in 1972. All Ted asked of us was that we gave it everything we had, plus just a little bit more. And for him, we did. A great hockey player but an even greater human being.

This goes all the way back to my dad's days in ice hockey. I came up with guys like Phil Esposito, Bobby Oar, and Bobby Clarke. This is truly old time ice hockey.
Mr. Lindsay you were a great player and an even greater human being. All players can only strive to live up to the example you have set, may you rest in peace, you have set a high bar for all of humanity, with your humility and how you have stood up for all other people no matter the cost to yourself.
I blasted a vid of the Red Wings horn 7 times in honor of him. RIP Ted. Now you and Abel and Howe can play 3 on 3s with the rest of the deceased hockey legends in the great rink in the sky
0:25 What a face. Lindsay could've been a tough guy in film. 4:19 For a man who describes himself as having no talent, that's pretty fast skating there.

My how nice of you, you desecrate one of the greatest players and people to play the game. He was a great man, tough as nails and one of the top two left wingers of all time. His hard work, determination, ferocity, and Skill, are things all hockey players could use today. He was spirited and certainly not a clean player, but he was great, the Greatest Left winger the Red Wings ever had, or will have. 4 cups, 851 points, 379 goals, and 472 assists is more than anything you ever did or you'll ever do. For a guy who was pretty small in an era of small players, he was tough as nails, and a great player to boot. You may have an Ax to grind, but when a guy dies is not the place to do it. Especially when it is a tribute to the Man.
R.I.P Ted! You will be missed but you will still have a huge legacy.
Rest in peace Ted!

Hockey fans in Buffalo are hoping that big Tage Thompson will be possessed by the spirit of Ted Lindsay. Imagine if Lindsay had been six-foot-six.
