Thanks for refreshing my memory on the Earth E-TT. I've been looking for a nice guitar since we've moved to Mexico. It's much harder to pick up deals and have them shipped here. Amazon actually has the sea foam green available in Mexico... Time to do a little shopping!🎸💥👏🏼

I’ve always wondered about this guitar brand. Thanks for sharing. I absolutely have to comment on my recent purchase. Firefly had a sale on the 338’s at Thanksgiving. I bought the honey burst 338 Pro. It came with locking tuners and special inlayed fret markers. Next to my Grote, this is a notch above! This my 1st Firefly and I am very surprised! I had to tell you since you have done reviews on some. Maybe take another look Jimmy. As always, Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Hi EDL…well, to get the free shipping, yes. I am not sure if the pre-order sale was just for Prime members or not. As I recall, I saw this back in late Feb/early March and it took to May to receive it. I have been a Prime member forever, so honestly don’t know. Appreciate your stopping in!! 🎸👍

Cheif, maybe you can explain what's going on in Guitar world? The manufacturers and big retailers are offering huge, unheard of markdowns. Great sales, or "Buy it!" time, but what gives? As always, great review, feel better and "Keep 'em comin'!" 🙂
Hi Michael…thanks so much for watching and commenting. I honestly think you can thank COVID for a lot of it. Everyone was couped up…wanting something to do…many took up guitar. Inventory was short, supply chain squeezed…manufacturing pumped up inventory to meet demand and everyone trying to capture the “budget” market that both Squire and Epiphone left behind as their pricing kept increasing! Now, over production has left a glut…pricing coming down due to high production and inflation…it’s a buyers market!!
From the sound of your playing, you are well on the road to recovery! My current bargain is a Gearit LPS cream on cream, dual p90 with a good gig bag for $106.81 delivered! No set up needed. Even though Turkey day is over, you have my gratitude for bringing the world of affordable guitars onto RUclips- keep on Truckin'!

Boy, that EART TT-2 really is a GORGEOUS looking guitar! Say, what’s up with Firefly lately?! I see they now have a bunch of new T-style guitars, including some Fender Troublemaker Tele clones, and a new “Classic Series” white model that looks like it has eliminated the belly cut and forearm cut on its previous “Pure Series” models, and instead has given it a more Fender-like headstock shape, a flamed maple neck, and a price increase… Why have they deleted features and raised the price this way?!?!?!?

They continue to make some interesting models, changing features, upgrading on most while still trying to keep the price in that $200 price point (mostly)
@@JimmyStewart1 I’m STILL trying to find the PERFECT Tele (for me). Honestly, I have not been terribly happy with my old Firefly FFTL Nashville Tele-it has some issues, and is just not inspiring to play somehow… But I am tempted to try one of the newer FFTL’s, as many reviews (including yours) seem to indicate they really have been improving in both specs and quality lately. I do like the more traditional Tele-style headstock on their latest model, which is WAAAY better looking than that horribly ugly headstock on all their older Fender clones, but OTOH, I’d love to have at least a belly cut on my Tele!

Mine came in fantastic shape, and other than a couple of minor quirky issues, I am well pleased, and the P-90's sound great.@@JimmyStewart1
Allow me to make a suggestion for a cheap 40 watt solid state amp with effects loop that sounds very good for the $. It's the Monoprice 40 watt solid state amp. Just got one yesterday to save tube wear and tear on my bigger amps.
I'm very surprised how good this thing sounds for $69 on sale. Doesn't sound like a cheap practice amp at all.
Yes…heard a lot of good things on the Monoprice 40w solid state. I have plenty of amps but may grab one anyway just to try out! Appreciate it…🎸👍
@JimmyStewart. Great video. Glad your T.G. was good, minus your hands. Questions for you. What temp and humidity to you keep your guitar room at? Is it 365 days a year set at the same settings? And, bow often to you need to play/check settings on guitars to keep them in good to great playing order? Jusg curious since tgey are not kept in a case. Or is being kept in a case actually worse forc guitar?

Hi justbob…I try and keep the studio pretty consistent at around 70-75 in the summer months and around 70 in the winter months. Some guitars are in cases, but the majority stay out in the studio in stands or hanging. I use a humidifier in the winter (heating months) and a dehumidifier in the summer months. I try to maintain between 45-55% humidity levels. I check guitars often, but in most cases only a tuning is required. Glad you’re enjoying the channel, and thanks so much for stopping in! 🎸👍
@@JimmyStewart1 thanks for the info. Pretty much what i do as well. In 20 plus years, ive only had 1 neck warp. Bend towards the face of guitar. The truss rod was broke. It seems tricky. Some woods are not dried properly. Seen that mostly in 80s and earlier. But, where your settings are make sense. Im in the same ballpark. I believe you need to pick them up, tune, bend strings and play for a minute or 2 so wood doesnt loose its memeory. Hope that makes sense. But, the temp and humidity is paramount to keeping the instruments in good condition.

My pleasure…funny, in the past 23 years here in this home, I had two guitars lift bridges on me (both Epiphone acoustics) but no neck issues (knock on wood) 😎
@@JimmyStewart1 thats great! 1 neck was a 80s Kramer and the other was a Fender Squier bass. Really odd. Truss rods worked too. I rounded it up to sometimes its just bad wood. Probsbly not dried all the way when put on the guitar and bass.
