Hey I was wondering how you made your java moss into a carpet? Wouldn't it just die if you don't tie it down to something? Love the video man btw🔥

Hi, nice video, just wondering, when do we have to change the water ? What's the interval ? And how much water would require to change ? Thanks

I don’t change my tank water very often actually. Maybe once every few months, but I don’t have a high fish load. More fish equals more water changes.

Do you know of any cheaper option for that light

The Fluval 3.0 light series is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I really like being able to customize the lighting with the app.
You could go with a different brand though no problem. I would go on amazon and search for clip on aquarium lights. Pick something that is designed for planted tanks and make sure it has good reviews. You should be able to find something that is significantly cheaper and will work for you! Good luck!

    Without ferts ....any tip?

Java Moss will grow relatively well without ferts, although I would highly recommend ferts. Moss can typically grow just form fish waste.

Do you have it attached to something or is it just lying there?

Twist up a bit of moss then insert into the gravel, the moss will eventually attach itself to the gravel 😎

Will it spread across the gravel?

That doesn’t look like the Java Moss I have. Are their different types of Java? Mine is free floating.
