I don’t have enough experience to play plo with the local sharks, hand percentages are drastically different than NLH . One day I’ll try it.

While there's nothing wrong with setting a general goal (like "I'd like to win x amount over the next year), what you're doing is a bad idea; to set a set amount of money in a set amount of time. Especially when it's really short term; like 60 days. It puts you in a position where you will wind up forcing bad situations rather than waiting for good ones. For example: when a player is like, "I have to leave in 30 minutes and I'm down $5,000. I gotta get that money back before I leave." It usually doesn't go well.

Thank you for your comment! I agree with your rationale, but I’m really just showing a typical 2 month spread of win/loss ratio with an above average hourly goal playing the typical amount of hours. Also trying to give a glimpse into the swings and how it affects personal life. The goal is in the higher end of the range but it’s derived from a sample size of thousands of hours. If I swing for the fences and end up with a double off the wall, it won’t be the end of the world.

College educated and could have made a lot more money doing countless other things. Decided that freedom to do whatever is more important to me than money.
