Ha, I like that the SP version is the same instrumentation but with Billy Corgan's vocals. It makes it abundantly clear how similar their musical styles were.
Not underrated if you were born any year before 1995. Bound for the Floor was inescapable on the radio in the 90’s and the 00’s. It was literally top 10 on the Billboard rock charts and top 50 of the overall charts. Local H, as a whole, is certainly underrated, but Bound for the Floor is a staple 90’s jam and most people would for sure recognize it, even if they don’t know who played it.
Well The Bee Gees definitely messed me up for a min but all were spot on as usual. I’d have to say I’d love to hear a full version in the style of Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins. Those 2 seemed to flow well and fit the best for me.
I can’t wrap my head around how this isn’t edited in order, you’re literally going from spot on impression to the next spot on impression in real time!
I was listening to this on a bluetooth headset and wasn't watching the screen and this blew my mind. Didn't know what was going on until the Bee Gee's hit haha. Amazing stuff.
Trust mac glocky to remember Local H :D Love the Bowie cover, and how well the song just fits other 90s bands, but I think you may have saved the best for last with Gorillaz there XD
Overall, I laughed a lot, mostly because you nailed most those styles. I think my favorite, as suiting the song (besides the OG) was Nirvana. I'm ALWAYS looking for a heavier version, but the spirit of it really matches Nirvana (besides OG, which is perfect really).
Your rendition of all these different influences, they're all so very close without feeling like you're just copying. It sounds like you're actually from every single one of those bands, that you go under different names for the different styles. You replicated them so fantastically that you still ended up sounding like they were your versions of your song. Absolutely awesome.
Omg by time it hits BGs & Bowie, I'm laughing so hard. Fantastically talented songwriter. Maybe you could dive into your process. Do you know theory, locate common modes/scales, then replicate sounds by writing within those patterns...or is it natural/by ear? It's counterintuitive but give away the secrets so to speak. Most won't be able to replicate anyway, but it might additionally contextualize your talent beyond just ability to play all these genres, I think seeing some of the processes you take to get there might actually be more impressive (from planning to tracking to mix/master to also techniques u use). People like you will inspire the next gen of rock musicians. We need it too so I greatly support this channel. Very fun
I love Local H. This is def a “thanks for giving us what we didn’t know we needed” sort of thing
Ha, I like that the SP version is the same instrumentation but with Billy Corgan's vocals. It makes it abundantly clear how similar their musical styles were.
Both Chicago bands too
Sweet, man! Bound for the Floor is a bit underrated, it's like a super 90s song.
yeah local h are in general, i love eddie vedder
@@samcarver5507ditto niggo
Local H is underrated
This is amazing! haha! I’m a fan
Not underrated if you were born any year before 1995.

Idk whats more impressive, the covers or the Local H deep dive ❤ seems rare people know the H
They're still kicking! They released another mixtape over covid
They played this on Kroq all the time, I feel offended that this is considered a deep dive now 😂
I love how your facial features reflect the style of the lead singer you're covering. Keep it up man, you are definitely on point.
How in the hell is this dude so talented 😭
The Bowie is so damn spot-on.... and then it's a tie between SOAD and Gorillaz. Definitely need to to full versions of all 3.
My same rankings! Bowie and Gorillaz were amazing
Idles was spot on!
For real😂 threw me off guard.
need a full cover of bound for the floor
Local H has gotta be one if the most underrated bands of all time, they also havnt been to Australia since 1998, I'm still waiting to see them 😂
I love that Never Fight a Man with a Perm made its way in here, lol. Awesome.
I'm glad you did the Gorillaz at the end, with the head dancing and all. Thanks!
90s were my glory days, keep bringing the hits!!!
(Ahem) Stabbing Westward
Holy hell, dude. I WAS NOT expecting the Idles bit at all. Subscribed.
Well The Bee Gees definitely messed me up for a min but all were spot on as usual. I’d have to say I’d love to hear a full version in the style of Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins. Those 2 seemed to flow well and fit the best for me.
Born in Illinois. I love Local H. This is epic.
I can’t wrap my head around how this isn’t edited in order, you’re literally going from spot on impression to the next spot on impression in real time!
Honestly would love to see you do more like this! I loved the Bowie version especially, would love to hear a full version of that!
Omg me too, it sounds so amazing !!!
The dance at the end is the perfect juxtaposition to the amount of raw talent we’ve just been bestowed 🙌
Most underrated internet music guy
For so many reasons!!
THE BOWIE/NIRVANA IS BANGING
Well done Zach 👏👏👏
Love your little dance at the end of the video 😅
I was listening to this on a bluetooth headset and wasn't watching the screen and this blew my mind. Didn't know what was going on until the Bee Gee's hit haha. Amazing stuff.
I revisit this album like once a year. It's so good. Eddie Vedder and Back In The Day are my 2 favorite songs on the album.
One of the best albums of the 90s, not a single skipped track
Freeze Dried Flies, Lovey Dovey, Back in the Day…. So many bangers!
I was not expecting The Bee Gees
I love your music. Thanks for sharing
This was great. Thank you
As amazing as all of these were, your original Local H version was probably the most impressive. Incredible stuff, man.
So much skill and talent 🩷❤️
This is phenomenal keep up the great work!
Trust mac glocky to remember Local H :D Love the Bowie cover, and how well the song just fits other 90s bands, but I think you may have saved the best for last with Gorillaz there XD
That was dope as hell. Was headbanging to Deftones so hard.
This unlocked a memory for me haha, i heard this song a lot when i was a kid but never knew what it was called or who sang it
Unreal.
You should try doing Fiction (Dreams In Digital) by Orgy in the style of Deftones. Keep up the good work!
would be perfect omggg
Smooth criminal by 5fdp
Idles!! 🙌 I almost died at The Bee Gees. Bravo sir. Bravo 👏
Idles one is awesome
Idles part was absolute headbanger worthy
Holy balls, that was an impressive ❤

I'll pay serious money to have the entire song made in Bowie's style
This is awesome! I love this song
Overall, I laughed a lot, mostly because you nailed most those styles. I think my favorite, as suiting the song (besides the OG) was Nirvana. I'm ALWAYS looking for a heavier version, but the spirit of it really matches Nirvana (besides OG, which is perfect really).

S.O.A.D sounded like slipknot at first lol. Totally corey taylor. You should do him next.

If foo fighters wrote nookie
This is hilarious. Am i the only one?
Need the full nirvana version
Damon Albarn lost a bet, and thus you slayed him with Style (10).
Got a Korn vibe from Nirvana
I can definitely hear the split.
Mmm saints row! Thats the only way I know this song
An OG cover or Bowie version would be much appreciated Mr. Glocky
Do more idles impressions hahahahahahahaaha
You are cool, dude! That's real art)
Please, do Gasoline or Nightmare by Halsey in different styles if it's possible
🥃😎👌
