- A Heavenly Matcha Panna Cotta Recipe, Make This Easy Recipe With Step-By-Step Instructions, & Enjoy This Japanese Italian Fusion Dessert At Home Whenever You'd Like | Nekohama Bakery
Hello Friends!
My favorite dessert is Panna Cotta, my favorite thing on the planet is mango followed closely by matcha, YES I know I said it, I love mangoes a little more, but if I was going to be stuck on an island and I had to choose between matcha and mangoes I'm guessing the matcha would be on the island with me!
We've shared many recipes already and I'm not sure how many of you are making them, but if you are let us know. We work hard to make sure these recipes are easy to make, taste great, and are perfect for anyone who has a baking bug!
Two questions and if you answer them, I'll be very happy. What is your favorite dessert and have you ever tried it with matcha? I'll have our team test out a recipe you recommend as long as we think it will work well with matcha so give us a little inspiration in the comments!
Big big matcha hugs!

Ingredients:
Panna Cotta:
• 250g heavy cream
• 50ml whole milk
• 5ml vanilla extract
• 10g matcha powder
• 50g refined sugar
• 4g unflavored gelatin sheets
Raspberry Sauce:
• 100g frozen raspberries
• 15g sugar
• 5ml lemon juice
Instructions:
For the panna cotta:
1. Hydrate the gelatin sheets in a bowl with cold water.
2. Combine the sugar and matcha powder in a small bowl. In a saucepan, add the cream, milk, vanilla extract, and the matcha/sugar mixture. Heat it until the sugar has completely dissolved, without bringing it to a boil. Then, turn off the heat.
3. Squeeze out all excess water from the gelatin sheets and add it to the saucepan. Stir well until everything is completely dissolved.
4. Pour the mixture into small cups or molds and refrigerate for about 5 hours.
For the raspberry sauce:
1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the raspberries have broken down and the sauce has thickened.
2. Chill the sauce in the refrigerator.
To serve:
1. Once the panna cotta is set, remove it from the mold using the heat of a hair dryer, a blowtorch, or by briefly dipping the mold's sides in warm water.
2. Place the panna cotta on a plate and top with the chilled raspberry sauce.
À réaliser absolument.
