Dear Feb, thank you so very much for taking my request and making such a wonderful video, you really made my day!! Maude and Buttercup tend to run around A LOT in this version, but I like it. ☺️ Since they are essential, I don‘t have to worry about them, and when it gets late they always sleep in their little chicken coop. As you know I prefer this version. It feels bigger, more beautiful and better divided. For instance, I love having the alchemy lab, the enchanting table and the smithing area in one spot - right next to the mannequins and display room, so I have a reason to often take a peek at my collection. I also much enjoy the spatial layout of the entrance/kitchen. If I could mix and match, I would probably take the first floor from the newest version with the basement, loft and guest house from version 4.3.5. But all in all I love this version the most. 🙃 Hey, nothing against the werewolf bed, it‘s great! 😄 As a werewolf player I appreciate some nice bedtime treats next to my sleeping area... 😁 Thank you very much again for your kindness and your wonderful video, Feb!! 💜

Ahh Elysium 🥰 this home has been my main home for every single playthrough since I got LE back in 2013. I am using this version in SE, I tried 5 and really didn't like what had been done to the basement, cramped was an understatement and the missing loft and guesthouse 😱 but I did like the changes to the main floor except the weirdly angled master bed. I had said on the mod page a few years ago if I could take the basement and loft and outside space from 4.3.5 and merge it with the changes to kitchen and single bedroom it would be the perfect place. But 4.3.5 is the best having everything in one place in the basement is great, can go make something at the forge, improve it at the workstation or grind wheel, up the steps to enchant it and then space to show it off in a 360 degree spinny camera motion. If I could build this place in real life I would have, I'd of just put a proper bathroom with that always missing toilet in. 😏
Love this home, have used it in past playthroughs, not sure which version though, may even have been earlier than this one. You are so sweet and accommodating, Feb, to your fans, taking requests so often.
I've just watched both versions - this one is my preference for overall look, feel & setting. Very English country-cottage vibe to it, given the setting, in which you could comfortably wear Edwardian clobber and it wouldn't be out of place. Now stop dangling tempting delicacies in front of me, blast it. I already have 4 homes *without* the available in-game ones & the Hearthfire add-ons . . .
wow, didn't know so much had been changed on this one , I really like this version better - never fails trying to smith/craft outside and - Dragon lol.
Well dang. These versions invite comparison and yet defy it. Elysium has been a go to for me for ages and seeing this reminds me how great a job the mod author did. I would love to mix and match versions but I would worry my mixes would not match or I would want to keep poking options trying to get it perfect when, in fact, it is perfect and I should just enjoy it and get on with the game. Still...... maybe just one poke....or two. Perhaps Version 6 will be a super combination offering optional setups galore made from all the potential iterations. Dragons could be Riverdancing in the garden and there I would be turning the loft option on and off. "oooOOOoooooOOOooo", *clickety clickety*. As an aside, when you first mentioned that you could not find Maude and Buttercup I was worried a bit, till you mentioned dinner was going to be fish. Whew!!
This has always been my home. Never left my load order once it was in. Even way back in legendary I used it. It used to have a small followes house in the back on the right side. Now it's in the house. My love is the stables, storage right in that garden, my cow and chickens.... just a grade A home. Oh wait.... this is the older mod. 👏😮👏 I am totally torn now... 😫
I watched both videos and prefer this older version to version 5. All the crafting n one space, the garden is prettier, the guesthouse is nice, and overall it's just lovelier in general.
A rustic house in the middle of the woods. You know sometimes i wish i live in a fantasy world like this but then again dragons, thalmor, undead, war, disease, witches, etc. Soo yeah no thanks XD Lovely video as always Feb. My notifications from you are always on and i can't wait to hear more.
Is it weird that the reason why I don't want to live in Skyrim is not because of dragons, thalmors, and draugrs, but because of the lack of toilets and shower?
Aww thanks Oliver:) I read a series of books recently called AlterWorld in which our hero gets sucked into his fantasy video game (it's on Amazon) and I'd definitely be up for that if it wasn't for Frostbite spiders.
This is the best version in my opinion. I hated having to go all the way outside to craft, this version has it all together. Plus I had weird glitches and bugs with v5, there were strange bits of wall in the armory blocking my path around the mannequins. I finally gave up and went back to 4.3.5 which, as I said, is the better version. Glad you were introduced and thanks for your tours, as always.
@@FebrithDarkstar That's the beauty of modding really, isn't it? We can create our little fantasy worlds exactly as we wish them to be (albeit with much gnashing of teeth and renting of clothes LOL). This house truly is amazing ! I'm using it in every game because it's at the same time beautiful, convenient and contains amazing different features. However I have to say that I really prefer the version I'm using which is the latest one, I think, because what I like a lot was the "clean" vibe of the house. I think I prefer the outdoor crafting area of the newer version, along with the optional outdoor enchanting table and the linked storage. I'm still building up a collection of armours and weapons to put on display so I rarely go in the house and having the essentials outdoors is very useful for me. The shrine bonus is also useful for transmuting a lot of iron ore quickly. I found a bug with the outdoor pool where after I leave it, it still looks like I'm under water as I travel around but it was fixed on a reload. All in all, Elysium Estate is a keeper. I'd like the option of a few more kids beds somewhere as well as the followers but 2 will have to do.
I prefer v4.x because the loft and guest house are perfect. They're the cherries on top of a glorious cake. I could even live in the guest house I like it so much.
