@@GamesLegoemais I disagree, but yes, removing them should have always been an option. Inconsequential visual effects should always be something you can toggle.

Edit: I was wrong I literally just had the unluckiest alignment of things happening all at once the New System is pretty fun the reason I didn't think so at first was for a very specific set of circumstances happening all together.
Let me explain my Driftcars are all Setup differently interms of Parts which is how you used to be able to make small and big adjustments to a Car what happened with the new Pro Drift Tires is they move that Finetuning away from Parts over to the Handling Slider which I usually setup almost identical on most Cars it just feels right while drifting to me.
That's why all Cars that are Unique when using normal Drifttires feel the exact same when using Pro Drifttires cause the Handling Sliders make it so meaning the New System functions like the old one they just moved the Finetuning away from Part's over to the Handling Sliders.
But seemlingy ONLY for Pro Drifttires the others still work like before so keep that in mind if you are a little Lost like me sometimes :P

Fixed the Drifting yeah right equip Tires tada Driftcar that really fixes something that took effort before cause you needed an actual Driftcar to get highscores unlike now when you can just use anything with Pro Drifttires.
Truly sad that that's what people want for Drifting in NFS now :(

UI is from U1, but the gameplay has huge MW and U2 drag-racing vibes
The new drag sucks and throws you and random directions because of auto driving
Literally started the first 3 drag races ramming into a parked car right off launch because it decided it wanted to do that

They did it. The mechanics that we loved from the past games we all yearned for has made it on this modern game. Just goes to show regardless of all the new games they come up with, it's the feel of the old titles that will always be there, and we'll always look for. Good update!
The poor car that hit the construction sign then crashed in to a car who refused to switch lanes. Either thought a ramp was there or testing dmg 😅. Underground vibes spot on.

Idk about yall, but the UI is a periwinkle blue instead of aqua green in the races. It has a nixe vlue filtwr at midnight and looks exactly like carbon
For the drag Ui, don’t focus on the outer perfect shift indicator but rather the inner perfect shift indicator, as the needle is a bit misleading.

I was the guy who asked for both the dark horse & the gtd in a car wishlist thread on EA forums and super happy that i got both! (Granted, the gtd is just a kit in this, but thats good enough imo).

This is the Best drift handling they’ve done in over a decade this update managed to bring me back after having it uninstalled for 7 months
And made all the long time players uninstalled it now because of the new dog shit drifting you "casuals" like to call drifting
@@GaiaPape first of all I’m no casual. secondly if you think this drifting is shit that’s fine but let me ask you this can you name a single new arcade racing/drifting game that has better drift handling because I can’t. let’s see the crew has shit drift handling in comparison. CarX drift has no weight to the cars so it doesn’t feel like drifting forza is not an arcade racer so you can’t say that and the same goes for assetto corsa and grand turismo

If they can FINALLY revamp the drift handling in this game, I'm now looking forward to how they will completely overhaul the handling system for the next game.
This update makes me think this: We love the Underground games not only because of nostalgia, but because it feels THIS good like we're experience with Unbound right now!!

This update is awesome and a nice tribute to the Underground series. Also, very nice the developers paid tribute to Chris Gauthier with his Neville livery from NFS Carbon being featured as the first vanity item on the speed pass. Now I am really excited for the Hot Pursuit update, because this means, we may be able to drive police cars again, but we’ll see.
This feel like such an nfs 2015 moment. We were asking for so long and they finally delivered 😊

From the most hated to the most loved???? A MODERN NFS GAME TO RIVAL HEAT?!?!?! Bro, if the Unite team manages to figure out how to extract the logic behind these things, imagine how they could implement these in older NFS games they modded. I know it may be far-fetched, but still. Finally, NFS Unbound is worth buying!

It's not all good news. Drift Pro tires, Drift Pro events and Drag events are all completely excluded from Story mode. That means Story players can't even access the new drifting physics or any of this update's worthwhile content really.

Off road tires spun out a lot too and made my off road builds really slide. I made a mini coupe off road build and I never lost a drift event with it so I’m hoping to compare the two drift modes

Its pretty interesting that they added the prostreet tire warmup section, but the animation seems a little strange. Its as if the wheels stop entirely and you can basically ping it to keep in the zone, where prostreet you had to actively manage throttle a bit more
Okay, a speed run like mode from prostreet where a high speed track race but you'd get dnf if you crash out, would be a good addition imo

From the drag racing you still need to focus on the white bar on the speedometer to get the perfect launch by the looks of it after you warm up your wheels,
Rather than the left speedo for perfect shifts at the start.
