      @@VirarAutomotive I know, but buyers are the ones buying reports, not sellers as much.

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  Год назад

      In my experience, it's mostly the sellers, especially private sellers who buy the reports when they list the car to assure the potential buyers that the car history is as they say it is and convince buyers to come see the car, since unfortunately a lot of sellers misrepresent their vehicles. Also buyers only really get the Carfax report at the last minute right before handing over the cash, because it's not feasible for them to pay $50/report for every potential car they like and are planning to go see.
      But then again, this is just me speaking from my personal experience.

Total scam thank you, and btw area code 581 which is in Canada.

    • @VirarAutomotive

      Sending the VIN is no problem.. that's public information. Anyone could literally walk up to your car and get the VIN. It's visible at the left bottom edge of the windshield.

      Sending the VIN is no problem, it's a public information. Getting some random vehicle history report and in the process losing money and information is the scam

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  2 года назад +1

      See that's a different scam and a scarier one. But yeah, just knowing your VIN isn't an issue. I mean someone could just walk up to your car in the parking lot and get the VIN.

      I resent the implication. I sympathize with you having had to deal with Indian scammers (I have been in the same boat as you), and I understand how that may have formed that judgement. However painting everyone with the same brush is not only extremely unfair but just personally limitative.
