Our FIRST TIME at SeaWorld Orlando - A Florida Christmas

Flying Southwest Airlines to Orlando Florida from Los Angeles to have a Florida Christmas vacation and visit Dad's girlfriend Yami who lives there. After a long travel day and a rest day we head to our first day outing which is Sea World Orlando!. Only ever being to Sea World San Diego since it's our local park, it's quite an interesting experience seeing how they do it in Florida. Some things were better and some things weren't as different as I thought they would be. I GREW UP at Sea World San Diego basically going there so many times as a kid. I've seen it develop and change through the years.

Orlando really does have A LOT of Rides, which are pretty cool, but I thought the Killer Whale Shamu show was underwhelming in comparison to what San Diego has to offer. We weren't able to hit up EVERYTHING or every show at Sea World like the Dolphins or the Seamore and Clyde Sea Lions show, but we became Season Pass members and will be back again soon!
Oh and we stopped for some DELICIOUS tacos at Mexas Tacos - Authentic Mexican on 8788 Vineland Ave Orlando, FL

Just have some questions for you. Where did you stay? Walking distance to sea world or drive ? Are you spending more than one day at sea world? If you return, you might consider spending a bit more time showing the species plaques around the park. Have a wonderful time here in Florida!

Thanks for the comment Rick. We stayed at my girlfriends house in the area. We only did one day at SeaWorld but we did get the season pass so we’ll be heading back again. Would love to show more of the things and only had a half day there so didn’t get to hit up the shows or more rides. Next time will do some fun stuff!
