Wow! Another masterpiece Chuck. I cant imagine anything harder to paint than frost. To be able to convey frost covering the ground takes some real skill and talent. Great job on this one!
I love watching you paint and seeing the beautiful results of your efforts. You're one of my top 5 male present day artists that I like to follow and who have inspired me greatly since I decided that I wanted to try out painting (something that I'd never done in my life) in July of 2021, after retiring. A few of my other favorite artists are a Russian Landscape Artist by the name of Stanislav Brusilov, an artist who lives just north of me in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire by the name of Erik Koeppel and a New Zealand artist by the name of Andrew Tischler. Thanks for putting your work out and inspiring so many of us, it's greatly appreciated! Cheers 👍🙂🥃🥃
I have been admiring your paintings for years. The beauty and intricacies truly bring tears to my eyes. You are a genius artist. Thank you so much for sharing.🎉🎉🎉🎉
What did you use in the beginning of the painting for drawing lines that it is like colour brown or orange what material is that ? Please tell me i love your work .
As always your art is beautiful, and keeps progressing! I sure miss the regular uploads. I may have asked this before, but why the glove? I know why I wear gloves at times, but this looks to be special. Just curious. Thanks again for posting!
Sick of washing the paint off my hands! ha, my tubes are getting filthy and while mixing paints in the beginning and the process of blocking in with thinner, it's nice to have the gloves. I take them off as I go though. Welcome and more on the way this winter
Hi Chuck beautiful painting as always, i was wondering why you switched to oils, i have used Acrylics for years and am now trying Water mixable oils called Cobra just to see the difference. 😀
Hi sir I have 2 painting when i was learning from your video a man was saying to buy . Can I sell this to him I will mansion that this is not original inspired from Chuck black. I'm in India big fan of you.
I can't paint with gloves, always barre hand even went I did sign, one shot paint have lead so can last long outside I did it for 20 years and my blood test was always negative so oil paint it is not dangerous
Do u have any tutorial videos for beginners or a ll your videos time lapsed I'm a little disappointed cuz I was hoping for a beginners tutorial step by step on a landscape scene but uou don't even tell us what colors your using 😂
Your art 🎨 is therapy for the soul.
Yes, I feel the same.
I love all your paintings but some of them amaze me
You put this much detail into a small painting, I want to know what would happen if you had a gigantic Bierstadt-style canvas to work from.
I've said this more than once, but i wish I could live in your paintings. They bring me so much peace. Thank you for sharing your art.
My cat and I sat drinking the morning's coffee to this. Well, I drank the coffee, she just watched the screen. Very relaxing. Thank you for the video.
World best painter ❤

I’ve watched many videos as I paint with just acrylic paint as I’m no good with oil for some reason. Your paintings are absolutely stunning

Is this just gessoed Hardboard or do you have canvas glued on it?
Can we get some rabbit themed paintings chuck? They're my favorite
Chuck, do you paint wet on wet with the burnt umber?
the tone was dry underneath, but then the sketch of the outline was all wet on wet from there

How long did the painting take you to finish?

Just following my curiosity, a lot to learn with oils still and I love the process of doing so. Hope it goes well for you, thank you

For sure, I just got sick of my messy paint tubes/gamsol and having to wash my hands so much at the start of a painting
