And to think this magnificent young LADY was left to die when she was a child and taken in at an orphanage, she was adopted by one of the orphanage staff, she was introduced to music as a form of speech therapy as she was unable to speak due to the trauma she suffered as a child, look at her now, she's magnificent, she's only 18yrs old but she is a very seasoned pro, she was doing stuff like this long before Brandon came along 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Diana is an excellent and multi-genre performer. Brendon is an experienced jazz player. It was enough for Brandon to direct her in the right direction, and they had a masterpiece. There is a lot of air in Diana's voice, it sounds surprisingly gentle.
You really hear her larynx structure and fuzzy polyphonics. Its so warm, she covers you with a cozy blanket of beautiful sound

You nailed it! Great reaction and a wonderful confirmation on how well Diana sang this composition with such a beautiful "jazz" flair. Some things you can teach and some things just come naturally. Diana is perfect and I too hope we get more jazz from her.
Brandon Stone has a recording career of his own and earlier studied jazz as a music student. He does seem to have taken something of a pedagogical role with Diana. They have been working together on various projects since she was 16. For instance he produced Diana's first album.
Unfortunately we don't yet get much jazz from Diana. A near example is the Bosa Nova "Snow Falls" A music video recorded when she was 15(?).

Diana's beautiful smile, velvety voice and jazz scat singing...I want more...and a cup of hot chocolate!!! That's wonderful... Can't it always be Christmas? I have to smile all the time.
At first, the song was not associated with Christmas. It was made in a bad time (1968) when the USA was on the brink of a civil war. There were protests against the Vietnam War, race riots swept through the country, curfews were introduced, and Jewish pogroms threatened.
Armstrong also felt the country needed the song, that it would inspire a sense of hope and optimism.
At one of the performances, Louis Armstrong introduced the performance with the following words: 'Some of you young people say to me, 'Hey dad, what are you talking about, what a beautiful world. do you call her beautiful too? …” But how about listening to old dad? * Brandon Stone (stage name), *1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist and arranger. Brandon is also a professional jazz pianist and a top-notch producer.
Brandon Stone prefers an interesting mix of styles both as a composer and as a singer (jazz/soul/pop). His melodic songs as well as high technique, emotional intensity and honesty of performance, his wonderful voice (3.5 octaves) and charm helped Brandon Stone to become popular in many European countries, America and Commonwealth of Independent States.
In 2005, Igor Krutoy personally asked Stone to compose and produce for the New Wave. He did it from 2005-2010.
Stone has already composed ca. 800 songs and sold around 2,000,000 records, mostly as a composer or lyricist, mainly in the former CIS countries. In Georgia (Europe) he is revered as a singer and artist, as a folk hero.
Since 2019, Brandon Stone has worked extensively with Diana. Diana's first CD of songs composed and produced by Stone, released Dec 2021, was certified Gold in June 2022.

Согласен, хотелось бы услышать от Дианы больше джазовых комозиций. Голос джазовый (в том числе). И вообще, ей джаз т.с. идет. Вспоминаю Эллу Фицджеральд, Дайну Кролл, да и многих других. Что-то общее с Дианой есть. Как минимум глубина и красота голоса. Да и джаз это вечно.😊
Диана работала с Брендоном или наоборот неважно. Главное результат. Для дианы джаз или рок из любой песни шедевр
