Great job Bert and Adam that was good cutting. As long as the chain is sharp it doesn’t matter that much what the brand name is as long as it can get the job done. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next.
Bert thanks for offering Chris room at your farm. It's been a game changer for him imo. Didn't know you had a channel, good luck and happy thanksgiving.
Hey Bert, you guys just flew through that basswood. So did you just purchase the 029? I have an 036 1993 I believe. Put a 25 inch bar for some bigger rounds. Handles it just fine. Just keep the chain sharp. Take care Bert and Adam.
Adam had the 029 given to him. They didn't want it anymore. Sharp chains help. The way I sharpen seems to hold up well. Video we made today will show a test of how well my sharpening job holds up, so stay tuned for that in a few weeks.
Bert: I have started that way and before you know it you will have a processor. I get a ton of tree service wood delivered here. I am just north of Green bay. Thanks for a great video. Been watching Chris for a while and now i will be watching you as well. Good luck, Happy cutting and stay safe.
029 was my big saw for a couple years. I put a couple hundred cord away with it damb good saw. I ended up getting into echo because the price and there good also. Ive got the 620 and 7310. Have a good day and keep your saw sharp like a beavers tooth 😂
Great job boys,is junior at school? He is so good on the tractor and safety aware. I love watching him in action.Teenagers are much better off out in the fresh air and learning life skills under supervision.Great work ethic.Enjoy Thanksgiving.Best wishes from Ireland.
@bertbrei2950 From what I just read on the Stihl site...Looks like 041av was the first Farm Boss and then in 1998 the 029 was introduced as the Super Farm Boss.👍👍
I've never seen chain saws "cut that fast"! (Must be Stihl saws!). Also, I've not seen anybody "toss rounds that fast" as you guys from Appleton! Wait a second...I just realized "the video was sped up"! You guys cleaned up the yard with precision and speed..."Bristol Fashion"! Good video!
@@BertsCustomCuts perhaps a follow up to the previous grinder video with more in depth how to set grinding wheel angles dressung wheels and such, harder to invision with the camera angles and such versus 3D in person.

Thanks 👍. Going to try to do a video a week.
Im surprised Adams hands didn’t get hives from that Awesome Orange chainsaw😂
He looks like a natural using it..
Gotta love that material bucket👍TCT
It had a sharp chain so mabey he didnt hold it long enough to get hives. The big bucket helps but its a heavy bucket.
1 bite at a time guys..... its all valuable in the woodbank! Keep on filmin Bert.... like machinery, with time you will master it.
Thanks. Trying for one a week.

Have a good Thanksgiving. Thanks for watching going to try to do a video every Wednesday
Imagine how much timber the tree service would bring if you told them you only want perfect processor timber
😅😅😅
You wouldn't ever get any wood then. We do have some hand cutting stuff to do as well as processor wood.

Now I want to go run saws instead I get to clean up inside for Thanksgiving.
I have to help clean stuff up for Thanksgiving, too. But I'm sitting in my treestand now. Worked all night just to get out here by 8 am.
@@BertsCustomCuts much better than cleaning!!
Bert - Is this wood from the basswood tree that Chris just posted on 12/8 showing you up in the tree cutting off limbs ? Thnx…
Yup
Does Adam burn firewood.
Campfires is about his extent of burning wood.
Great video. Nice sawing. Lots done.
Nice old ZR2 there. Nice truck when new. I had a 1998 regular extra cab 4x4 S10 years ago
Have a great day 👍🏻👋
Thanks that was my first truck I bought new. Now its dads and is sitting there because it blew a brake line when they were combining.
@@BertsCustomCuts 👍🏻👍🏻
Great job guys.. Was odd to see the Kioti without Chris somewhere.
Happy Thanksgiving from your extended RUclips family here in Washington state 😁👍
Thanks. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving as well.
Good session, fellas.
Thanks

We did think about running it thru the 22MB but decided to have a little fun with the saws.
Just subscribe to you You got a good video there You got a lot of wood there too Enjoy the video we'll be catching again
Thanks for the sub!

He got there to do the camera work after we were done cutting it up.
Hi Bert, just found your channel. You were great on Chris's channel so you have a new subscriber!!
Thanks for subbing!
I ran an old 028 for quite a few hours. I’m s stihl guy but like it has been said I’m happy with a running saw with a sharp chain.
Sharp chain is a must. I should try to get the old mac770 running again.
@@BertsCustomCuts that is old school. Their sound brings me back to my youth.
Was the 029 the original " Farm Boss"?
Have a Happy Thanksgiving Bert, Adam and Family!🦃🦃
Not exactly sure I'm more of a husqvarna and mcculloch guy.

is that how you make a chainsaw faster just fast forward!
I sped it up just so the video wasn't so long.
Got to say you guys look good pretty good for rookies
Like they say, fake it till you make it.
Which company chainsaw u use
I have Husqvarna mostly, and my top handle is an Echo
Looks like the saws made short work of it all.
That they did. A sharp saw cuts fast.

Yes, wood is for sale and also for my wood boiler.
You need better music.
That is on my list of things to do. I have been busy at work and getting stuff set for hunting.

Video is at double speed. But my saw and way I grind my chains they cut fast.
