J-Hope is the hype guy with a unique rap flow. RM is the powerful, intellectual rapper, that will diss you without you even knowing it. Suga is the savage rapper, who kills you directly with his lyrics. In my opinion, the most powerful rap line.
Also, Jungkook used to rap in the earlier BTS songs but he’s the main vocalist now.

Ol Dirty Brownies when JHope how in Cypher pt. 3 says "pi pi" it's actually a Korean onomatopoeia it's like saying "beep beep", it means they are blowing up his phone. JHope uses a lot of sound effects and onomatopoeia in his rap verses.

Namjoon is a poet, so he’s really good with his words.. wordplays and double/triple entendres that you wouldn’t usually catch on the first read. The intellect within his rap can really make you feel dumb. He’s really good at switching up flows on diverse beats
Yoongi’s rap is more direct. His lyrics are not as hard to dissect like Namjoon’s. But he has a sharp tongue.. with the inclusion of his speed and dominating presence on the tracks, he really knows where to jab to make it hurt.
I would say JHope is good at doing both of these since he learned from his two bros ☝🏼But overall, JHope is the master of flow. Since he was a professional dancer first, it’s as if the beat and rhythm lives through him in his rap. He also has a very unique rap voice that you can’t compare to anyone else
All 3 of them are amazing rappers, I wouldn’t say that one is any better than the other. They are all just unique in their own ways and bring such a good balance to the group.

I love rap line. They have their own unique rap style which completing each other. Please dont compare them, just compliment and appreciate each of them. Especially our sunshine J-hope. Since he has no background of rapping. He has so much increasing his rap skill which always amaze me. Even my bias is namjoon/RM, J-hope always impressed me tho.
And dont forget he the one produce dionysus and produce himself for his own mixtape, Hope World. He is Golden Hyung. So great in everything.
Please stop asking reactors to not compare them. That’s a part of rap culture. You can’t expect K-pop to utilize aspects of other cultures and then expect people from and immersed in those cultures to change. ESPECIALLY on cyphers. ARMY needs to stop infantilizing BTS. During the concert you watched the chyper medley from Suga was actually sick. Still he put so much energy in his performance, BTS really love there job, they really love performing.
During this years concert in Rose Bowl a lot of big celibrities went to see BTS and they all praised BTS.

*About Cypher 1*
*The verse of RM* in Cypher 1 always let me with a Bittersweet feeling (the Cypher serie in general let me that way) bc it always hurts thinking about how at firts he didn't feel confortable being in the KPOP world and he wasn't accepted on the underground scene either, so I think he felt like he didn't have a place. His verse talks more about his Kpop seniors how they "laugh at his name" ( that's why he keep metioning it numerous times in different ways) and how they can "see good things but can’t call it good" (referring to how they look down on BTS). I love the fact he mentioned a "third generation change" (talking about the goal of leading this generation of Kpop and we all know that BTS is leading now) and the way he call them Idol-shit its basically a #NoAllTheIdolsCanRap (and that’s true AF)
About *J HOPE verse*
The thing I love from his verse is how he spit out the words "Rapper costume? No" (pointing out he is not just playing around pretending being a Rapper like other people do, He takes his rol on BTS seriusly even if he started out as a dancer)
I love how he admitted he was "a kid who didn’t know rhymes" but at the same time brags about his potential lol

I'm always recommending these videos to newer fans who are more into hip hop because I'll never forget how shook I was when I realized the rap line brought it like this. Even listening to their non-hip hop specific songs, their deep lyrics drew me in but I bias the rap line because not only do they feel like people I actually know (we are the same age) but they just snap. All of their solo mixtapes are bangers. My favorite part of the cyphers is their growth. I think RM and SUGA became more polished but each cypher J-HOPE just got better and better. With J-HOPE since he hasn't been rapping as long as the others you can tell his flow is influenced by current rap trends. When I want to turn up I would listen to him. SUGA is more raw and volatile, his flow and lyrics are usually highly emotional whether he's angry, sad, or happy. RM is the smoothest to me. He was a poet and he makes me think but also he makes me want to vibe out.
ARMY never lie when we say BTS is so talented and their raplines are the best of the best. They kill it. They dont rap for fame. They rap to deliver their feelings.

I'm having fun watching you react to cyphers by rapline. For me, RM is the type of rapper who are dissing you without you noticing it. He made his lyrics sound beautiful it makes you think he's complimenting you, He's a philosophical genius. While Jhope raps makes you feel groovy with a little sting but Suga on the other hand is the aggresive straight to the point type. no sugar coating whatsoever. Instant k*ll! *mic drop*

I tell you guys, I've seen this cypher performance probably more than 50x with our without reactions, but I get carried away by the energy every single time. The rap line is soooooo good.
Sadly, this medley was a special performance for the 3 Seoul, South Korea concert only at the final for the Wings world tour. Love Yourself final is coming in October in Korea, 3 stadium shows, but we don't know yet if they'll perform cypher again or a different rap medley from the Love Yourself series.

Since ya'll love my bias Suga, in Cypher 1 he mentions Chopin who was a famous pianist. Suga can play 3 different types of piano, and one of the most beautiful raps he has ever done in my eyes is First Love, where he talks about his love of Piano. During the rap he changes the pitch of his voice to sound like the Piano speaking back to him and then mixed those two pitches together to make it sound like a duo. It really shows his talent, i just feel that it kinda fell to the way side because on Wings everyone had such show stopping songs, but honestly, it's amazing. Ya'll dont gotta react to it, but it would be a crime if you didnt listen to it.

1. the Hope World mixtape in general (my fav tracks are Baseline, Airplane, Hope World)
2. Hope on the street JHope dance compilation (a lot of this is freestyles too!)
3. Boy Meets Evil MV
4. 1 Verse (beat is sampled from el chopo by the game)
5. Jhope singing is a bless (even joking around it is clear Jhope could easily be a vocalist in BTS if he wanted)
Don't feel bad. Most new ARMY sleep on Jhope. His style has evolved the most since their debut. He is also the performance/choreography leader. He makes sure every performance is perfect. because of his leadership on and off the stage, BTS members and Army call him the shadow leader.

I'm not sure why people keep saying reacters are sleeping on Suga. EVERY reacter I've ever seen, if they're into rap, focus straight on Suga right off the bat. Sure, over the course of getting to know more about each member of BTS, their baises may waver, but without fail, every one I've ever seen has gone straight for Suga first. And for good reason, Suga spits fire. If any rapper gets slept on, it's probably J-Hope and his more lyrical version of rap. Suga is known for fire, RM is known for his thought provoking wordplay. In the end, they are ALL amazing, and no one should insist on having their personal bias get more attention just because they happen to like them more. All the boys should get equal treatment and coverage, especially by new reacters, as they all bring something special and amazing to complete the masterpiece that is BTS.
I'd love to see you guys react to Ddaeng, Baepsae, Tear: Outro, and Spine Breaker. But do each song separately, followed by their Explanations by a Korean (I prefer DKDKTV). The explanations are important for a lot of BTS' MVs because there is a lot of illustrative language that, unless you're privy to Korean culture, you may not pick up on. So they help a lot. And for more R&B vibes (since you guys seemed interested in that during the Who Is BTS intro), rather than rap like the four I just mentioned, I'd love to see you guys react to Singularity and Stigma.

supreme boi was an underground rapper and a friend of RM. they used to rap together and then he got RM to join BigHit and start BTS. BTS was originally a rap group consisting of RM, Supreme Boi, Suga, and Jhope but supreme boi left the group and became a producer at BigHit. Later BTS became a K- pop group. Supreme boy produces a lot of BTS music and works very close with the members.

Jhope is probably my favorite rapper because of his mixtape & his parts in bts songs are always the ones that are the most memorable. He has this amazing talent to switch his voice in so many different ways AND is always not afraid to be experimental in his music. Hangsang, Hiphop phile, Let me know, DDaeng & Baseline are examples of how immensely complex his rap identity has become. HE CAN FAST RAP LIKE SUGA, HE CAN RHYME LIKE RM AND UGH JUST HIS RAP STYLE HAS EVOLVED IN SO MANY WAYS ITS AMAZING. HIS STAGE PRESENCE IS UNPARALLELED and is probably the most intense out of everyone in the group. He's so.......mesmerizing like Ive never seen anyone more comfortable on a stage infront of 70k people than him. I never get bored of him, his raps are the most unexpected parts of the song.

You can see Jhope's growth as a rapper and it's so amazing.. from cypher 1-4 to ddaeng and then to Outro: tear. I guess he always had the talent to be a rapper but dancing never let him discover it. I'm really proud of him... His flow and charisma is off the charts. His stage presence *chef kiss*

I dont know, it is just me but most of reactors tried to choose between 3 of them but the whole cyphers are not meant to show who's best (flow, execution, lyrically) but to show that this is the family that haters tried to bring them down. I know mostly is just for fun to choose who's best but it will be unfair somehow (we all know RM & Suga are underground rappers, J-Hope got my respect for witnessing his growth in this line) plus it may tend to missed out the importance, message & relation of each one's rap.

Suga and RM use to be part of the underground rap culture in South Korea before joining bts . People from hip hop look down on them and said they “ betrayed hip hop “. In Cypher 3, for RM's part, when he says 'turn the beat back' if you listen carefully, they DID literally turn the beat back.
Also, J-Hope is actually calling out the Korean Rappers that throw in English words or try to rap in English without actually understanding the words/meaning and use them only because 'they rhyme'.... Not that he himself is rapping in English or anything. [Also Cypher 3]
In pt 4 RM is addressing what people have said about him. In the beginning, people were hating on him for not fitting Korean Beauty standards, or for leaving underground hip hop etc... He also received death threats which caused them to cancel their New York concerts a few years back as well as people were wishing he died.

Supreme Boi is a songwriter/producer for BTS...u look up any song from them and he will be part of it in one form or another....however when BTS first started, they were supposed to be a hip hop group. The CEO signed 7 rappers to be part of BTS...when he changed his mind and made it a idol group four of them went their own way...but three of them stayed. RM, Suga you already know...Supreme Boi was the third...now he works behind the scenes (no pun intended).
One last thing try RM's songs "Joke" or "Do You"...Suga's "AgustD", and J-Hope's "Airplane part 1" and "Daydream".
