You're so great Michelle. Don't feel intimidated by the Starbucks menu. I'm a Starbucks Barista/Math Teacher. It's not as complex as it looks. Most baristas will help you if you ask. I know you get a Iced Coffee with French Vanilla swirl from Dunkin Doughnuts and some things that are similar to that at Starbucks are Coconut Cold Brew, Vanilla Bean Creme Frapucinno, and an Iced Vanilla Latte . I stick with Americanos (Hot) but that's just me. It's strong and will keep you going all day but theres no sugar in it but it could be a good pre-cruise switch.
I always order Starbucks from the app! Gives you time to choose what you want and then you don't have to talk to anyone when you go inside to grab it. Happy Spring Break :)

I just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. You have given me several ideas and have motivated me to get areas of my classroom reorganized! It feels so good. Usually, at this point in the school year, I start to think about all of the things I want to try with my next class. However, seeing everything you do has made me realize that there is no better time than the present, so I am implementing all of these new things with my current class to test them out for next year! I'm sorry i have to comment again! I was feeling EXACTLY like you before spring break. I mean, my mouth almost dropped open when I heard you talking because you sounded exactly like me. I had a student that had to be physically escorted out of the class and he was brought back with a toy and no consequence a few moments later. I was SO DRAINED! At one point in the day I did not pull my last small group, and I sat at my desk and had to silently gather myself before dismissal ahhh! I am so glad that there are teachers like you. I agree with you about the pros and cons of reading assessments. We administer the DRA for reading fluency and comprehension in a one-on-one format. It can be very time-consuming, but gives some valuable information. Thanks for such a realistic and fun video! 😊
Michelle you give me hope! You are exactly the type of teacher I want to be. I don't know how you stay so positive but I watch your videos religiously in hopes your positivity will rub off on me! I graduated in January and somehow managed to get a permanent position as a first grade Sp Ed teacher in an ICT classroom. I am 7 weeks in. My class is out of control. (Mind you not all of the problems are the special ed student, most of them are the general education students.) They are 6 years old flipping tables, hitting me, biting me, pulling my hair, throwing all the papers off my desk, screaming. It's been tough. My co-teacher religiously tells me she "hates kids" and regrets becoming a teacher. I pour my heart and soul into teaching but she tells me that this class isn't worth it and that one day I won't be so excited about a teaching. "It's just a job" she tells me every day. Despite all my students behavior problems, I do love it. Watching your videos these past 7 weeks have really helped me just stay positive. I admire the way you handle a tough class with grace!

I was such a bad kid in 2nd grade. Probably because I had undiagnosed ADHD and a huge attitude. I always got calls home. But yet I was never sent to the office for some reason. I don’t think the principal even knew who I was. So I feel bad that you have to deal with all the discipline issues.

I feel that you always end up stuffing the extra papers that your mailman didn't get through, if you want a solution for that i would suggest that you have to mailmen so then they can get through all of the papers. I love your videos and have watched them all like 3 times. Your so inspirational!!!!
