- How do you try to stay anonymous online? Today we are delving through the levels and cutting through the layers for the truth. Whether you are hiding embarrassing search queries from mum, or trying to bring down your national government (just kidding), here are three (maybe four) levels of online anonymity for you!

00:32 Level 0. Is incognito mode really safe?
02:36 Level 1. What is a proxy server? Are proxies anonymous?
05:54 Level 2. Can you be tracked if using a VPN?

Get well soon bradley
I had a gut video will be upload today ❤
I looked ito Tor and apparently they are a bit iffy theses days..
Great segment, Lucas! Recently started doing updating on my mobile devices and laptop from being tracked via advertisers. Great channel, covered over five episodes here, will move on to Simsub expert channel, once I'm finished here.
Giving away my 1990's secrets... if enough people know this we will have less privacy in the future... as much as it will still be horrific in the future, now you are making it worse lol. Just the same I an online game... fucking youtubers... some guy found the thing I was using that was not so common... he told everyone, now I am worried they will nerf it. Same here if everyone knew more about protecting their privacy it might then make it something you can no longer have at all. The long line of proxies was an old school trick of mine, what next how to o overclock an office or school computer slightly because it was not set up for it? lol First thing is to make the floppy a little faster if it is a very hot summer then maybe not anything else.
I love the ending: "If you wanna take down the government, or start a global drug empire... just give up"
Haha, make me.
Tell that to shell
Found this channel some weeks ago and am so glad i found it😅
I really missed high quality videos like this and was completely bored of RUclips.
Thank you Sumsub❤️
I love your unique content
yeah that's true to say
Haha I think your device wanted to spell Samsung 🤣

Incognito mode only hides from your spouse not from the internet.
I'd rather the internet knowing about my side hoe than my wife
Thats right ✅️ we have to protect ourselfs
Depends if your spouse is an IT expert who controls the home network.
Bradley hope you get well soon ❤

The fight for cyber security is one of the most silent but dangerous wars we are currently going through now...
Yes, I would be interested in a price experiment with and without proxies, VPNs etc.
Can u do a video on TOR and it’s alternatives, the benefits and drawbacks of each. e.g. I2P, Lokinet (LLARP), etc? Some of the others support protocols like UDP.
I found you channel like 3 days ago... Im now addicted 😂😂
This channel is gonna grow like no other all the best...
I guess RUclips recommendations are finally getting better coz lots of new viewers are there in the comments
Techlore, The Hated One, and Rob Braxman channels have covered this long ago. Just saying.
I think the most useful thing about incognito browsing (on my phone, at least) is that I can close whatever was in the incognito tab without having to actually open the browser and see what it was. Very good if you're forgetful
Man I was missing this kinda content !! It's been months now and I'm Glad that i can say i've been here from the beginning..This channel is gonna fly high 😁

@@cjay2 I didnt mean i was looking for how to stay anonymous 😅 I meant that finding a NEW channel with quality content like this..Is rare nowadays
These videos are really good. Keep rolling.
Just found your channel, and I really love it! Just a friendly suggestion: for the animated ‘pauses’ in between the segments, I would’ve written the name of the segment that is about to proceed. No need to name write the name of the video in every pause, as this i obvious to the viewer already. Just my opinion
Ok this experiment sounds cool.
Time to give all my personal info to my digital overlords at sumsub 😎
Love your stuff. Keep up the good work!
05:50 experiment sounds good
Love the Inception transition!
Nice new profile.

Bro I love this s channel 💓So much both u and the owner of this channel you speak easy English that I can understand easily without stopping the video and not putting the words I don't know into dictionary bro thanks love u
You're very welcome sir :)
I love the preview on this video lol
Please do an airlines and ip experiment, would be an amazing video that would bring traffic and views from people who are probably trying to get cheaper rates, and would bring in a lot of first time views from a new demographic!
This channel deserves more attention!
Thanks!!
No it doesn't. Techlore, The Hated One, and Rob Braxman channels have covered this long ago.
You guys are awesome! I was literally just asking this question!
Bradley praying 🙏you feel better 🙏❤💙
Great video! ♥
Loved the video!
I never heard of a proxy server until now.
The most quality content on youtube
Generally speaking, proxies tend to offer faster connection speeds compared to VPNs since they selectively route specific traffic rather than encrypting all internet activity like VPNs do. Zeus Proxy sets itself apart with its rotating residential proxy, ideal for endeavors such as e-commerce multi-account registrations, data crawling, airdrops, and gaming.
Get well soon, Bradley. ❤️
I use incognito mode to not log browsing history and to have a quick way to log out of my accounts on a public computer. I use tor and mulvad for other more sensetive options.
Well, HideMyAss didn't save his ass.
Good content 👌🏻

YES!
Yes, yes, please do the ticket booking experiment!
Try it out yourself! Let us know how your results go :)
Happy to test flight prices
I like the conclusion to this one. "Think about the consequences of your actions"
Yey...Lucas🔥🔥🔥
A proxy/vpn exercise would be interesting.
Will you please make a video on.. Where does deleted photos actually go? On smartphone or laptop
Better hotel prices? Yes!
Try setting up your Steam or Spotify with an account from another country. You can save a ton, even with exchange fees!
yes interested in the experiment
Video was just brain exploding I am actually from a security background but if I was not then too I could explain. You have just a robust approach to explanation.
Thanks! Praise for an industry pro - I'm flattered
i would love to test out the method
No mention of Tails used on machine not associated with you, used over a public hotspot or third party connection?
This video was so informative! I'm leaning towards using a combination of Proxy-Store for my proxies and Tor for extra anonymity. What do you guys think of this approach?
Techlore, The Hated One, and Rob Braxman channels have covered this long ago.
Please do the experiment you mentioned.
Awesome
Level 4 combin levels 0-3 with a long range Wi-Fi device tethered to multiple public Wi-Fi hot spots and a burner device...
Couldn't you use several different VPNs instead of Tor (or in addition, if speed is of no concern)? Nobody would be able to track the route from, lets say the US to Swiss to China to Russia, because certainly at least one or two of them wouldn't give the data away or wouldn't have stored any logs in the first place.
Never! Give up!

excelent
experiment video would be cool
What do you think of Cyber Polygon
I need the flight experiment I am also confused because some recommend using incognito plz cover that too
Unfortunately, using incognito mode won't likely get you different prices for flights, as the website knows you're still the same user (i.e. the same IP address)
Today I know something new ..!
If a three letter agency wants, you have no privacy, you might as well throw your computer in the river.
Only reason i use incognito mode is to design websites and test them as if I’m a new user.
Does the ultrasound tracking method work even when there is no speaker on the device?
I doubt it
My country now has the rights to access our social media accounts and edit, delete or do whatever they feel if they suspect you are up to no good.
👍
5:05 ... :( norway isnt labeled on the map
The only time I use incognito is to get around pay walls haha
I feel like i shouldnt be able to watch this amazing content for free.
The Set it Off lyrics clickbaited me here 😏
Bounce signals like in goldeneye lmao
IMO One should ALWAYS presume that any commercially available VPN and their ilk, provides no protection from State Security Services, and any over zealous Government agency for that matter.
It should be presumed that the most advanced Top Secret technology is on average fifty years ahead of that which is commercially available.
If that's the case, why are there so many criminals running around?
you missed one thing,
sad truth is that *tor* user can still be deanonymize by *javascript code*
You're right! Nothing is perfect
Yes do the expmerant
sign me up for that experiment!
idea, maybe go into how safe wiregaurd is.
nice video as always
I didn't think that many people use "incognito" mode...
I have been thinking of setting up a network of VPN servers and dns servers to encrypt my data but also use something like pihole and open dns. I was considering using a VPN in a VPN for further anomity however the tcp doesn't like to transport tcp as it requires loss in the connection so maybe a proxy would help with that
Bradley I hope you get well soon.
Wait... does the spiffing brit uses the logo of a hacking group as his youtube pfp, did you guys just put his pfp on the logo of this hacking group or does this group SERIOUSLY uses the pfp of the spiffing brit as their logo???
I need to book flights. Please advise
Go to your chosen flight booking website. Check out what the prices are for your desired flight. Then open up an incognito window, set up a proxy server. Open up the same website and flight, and compare the prices! Try changing up the country IP of the proxy server for potential savings!! Good luck sir.

What kind of experiment? I'm down.
Try comparing prices from your favourite retailor or flight tickets site. Set up a proxy server in another browser and compare prices from different parts of the world for that website. Whose are the cheapest?
@@lucasnewman2477 I used my vpn on 2 different browsers to check Enterprise car rental's price 1) locally (no proxy), 2) from a neighboring state & 3) from Canada (I'm located in the United States). With all 3 methods they gave the same price.
I tried the same experiment using Expedia for airline tickets, one-way, from New York, US, to London, Eng., UK. Again, I got the same price for the same booking, even through each of the different "locations."
@@wendyg1059 Interesting to hear your results! I've had a lot of success using this method of subscription model websites. Such as netflix or spotify. As an Australian, I definitely get better prices at US/European marketplaces than at home.
@@lucasnewman2477 True enough. The airfare and car rental business may have gotten wise to people using proxies, etc., and just made it uniform across the board. Now, the prices varied by mere cents. Like, the dollar price was the same, after currency conversion, but the cents differed by about 15-20 cents.
I do know there are certain websites I use, however, whose US servers have been shut down, but they are still there if I use a proxy from a country that's NOT the US, the UK, Australia, or Europe (ex. Indonesia). So there are definitely "pros" to having access to a proxy or vpn, as region-based denial-of-access is rampant.
Where is Bradley? I play his videos to sleep. They are way realxing. I can't sleep with you.
Bradley to sleep, myself to wake up!

You didn't discuss bridges or using a VPN with Tor.

Router as in out is a woodworking tool.
Router as in Route 66 is device that routes data
We are not dumb Yanks 😊
bro i see you're trying to help but please research better next time
12:34 means nothing.
it requires you to get comprimised *twice* (getting a bad onion site, having spyware on your phone) at the same time for you get spoofed a third time.
if even one of these happens without your awareness you are already comprised anyway.
(also tor doesn't autoplay site content on default)
13:00 hidden services exist and confirmation attacks require two nodes.
13:43 one RUclips video can't contain all info up to state adversaries so it's better to make it only for the home viewer and not misinform(a suggestion would be safety first's umbrella but idk)
14:36 oh it absolutely can(but please don't) the biggest example is how silk road, an illegal trafficking site was only compromised because it's owner had made the mistake of advertising it with the wrong account.
tor is military grade because it was made by the us military for the us military and given out just because us using it provides an obsfucation layer, making it stronger(also it destabilises tyrannical regimes by being so available but that's a different story)
that being said i think it's a good video just need a disclaimer that this isn't professional
Daily reminder that tor is not secure anymore
now I understand why was it in "professional working environment ppl", they have to alway teach to botton your shirt up to your neck and to be safe put a neck tight over it. so distractting 🤣🤣🤣🤣
