@sendapez I totaly agree with you. Warrior Within not only made the Prince look bad-ass, but there was gore, two swords (rather than the dagger of time and a secondary weapon) and an awesome sound track. This game does look awesome mind you.
The water-freezing is pretty damn clever. I just hope the level design can match Sands of Time, or at least come close. It's still hard to tell from these previews...

They could've went all out to tie it in with SOT and WW and yet we get nothing. No Dahaka, no Island of Time, no Old man telling Prince he fucked up the timeline, he's not even pissed. Also it just blows my mind how some people actually consider THIS game better than WW.
The thing that I don't like about the power platforming is that it doesn't make sense unless there are some walls and beams to go with the ones you create by freezing water. The reason for this is that in all the other games there were always beams to jump on and walls to run up, but now they happen to disappear just when you got powers.
@shrint lol wow man, the Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones have the same prince. It's a continued story... this Prince of Persia game is to fill in the gap between Warrior Within and Sands of Time. The 2008 Prince of Persia was the only different prince.

The prince sounded like an american newyorker kid rather than a prince, however naive he may be. And SOT triology was not by a long shot emo.. And in warrior within's case the darkness of the story was the key. the way you can chop off your enemy in two or chop their head off.

GOW3 has set the standard for these types of games. This is a poor effort rushed to coincide with the release of the film
