24:15 It was actually such a pity that Smant died there with no reason. He would have gotten there WITH Cappy. Nevertheless, SMO online multiplayer is the best, props to CraftyBoss.
The only thing I can guess is that the bounce counted as midair for some reason
What happens to me a lot is that I release the Y button so cappy comes back to you, and it was just timed in a way that you could barely see it

Just had an idea - have a race online with other players, but every time someone collects a moon, the other player(s) aren’t able to collect it anymore. You could make it that every moon is available in a kingdom as soon as you get there, and you just need to collect the amount to leave.

that might be hard in kingdoms who dont have 4x the required moon amount. So one would have to reduce the amount of moons required to at most 25% of available ones so everyone can at least finish it eventually or else you lose players who are stuck

Hide and Seek really is amazing to watch. There are just so many funny situation which can occur. I had to watch the whole VOD on Twitch because I couldn‘t wait for the video. Let‘s hope there will be another round in the near future!
It's kind of funny to come back to this video after a while and to see how far the modders have taken online multiplayer, but also to see how the meta has developed.

I know 3 things that could possibly make the game more extreme…
1: You can initially use captures to hide until the seeker starts seeking, along with seekers able to use all captures at any time.
2: Instead of becoming a seeker or losing the hider every time you fall, I think, you should lose 1 minute on your timer every time you fall as both seeker and hider.
3: Enable coins and the hint toad. If you give the Hint Toad 100 coins, (1 person needs to do this on their own) The Hint Toad will reveal the location of a hider.

Y'all should make it so if a seeker catches a hider, they lose time on their total to incentivise seekers to compete for kills.
Except that the goal is to have to *highest* total time spent hiding.

It would be super cool to see what a co-op speedrun would look like. Having to organize what moons everyone’s getting. Trying to plane out new routs that are faster than the standard

Would everyone be in the same kingdom at the same time or could some people go to separate kingdoms to collect moons more efficiently? Those are just my thoughts and regardless it is a cool idea.

You guys gotta do a big game of man hunt. Everyone starts in a center area of the map, one player who's being hunted leaves and hides, and then everyone tries to find him. His goal in order to win is to make it back to the center part of the map.
I think the most fair way to do this is to restrict all four rounds to a single kingdom, so every seeker and hider deals with the same conditions. Maybe a little less RUclips-friendly, though- if you wanted that, you could weigh the seconds of each kingdom differently. Maybe Lake Kingdom’s times are multiplied by… 150% 140%? As an example. You could track the average times of each kingdom to work that out.
It’d also be interesting to see players incorporate costume changes into their strategies… though the seeker seeing them probably isn’t *too* big a deal at this stage of the meta, it does kinda nix using costume changes as a “refresh” on what the seeker would actually be looking for. I’d love to see this develop into an actual proper competitive scene.
