If it wasn't for the forced death animation before becoming a seeker, something like Smant getting caught in the moat right next to other hiders would be kinda unfair in these matches. It's basically a useful grace period rule for other hiders and I'm glad it's implemented in the mod by default. :)

I don't know how easy this would be to mod in, but maybe seekers could have something like a 5% speed boost over hiders so they'll *eventually* catch up if the hiders aren't doing some tricky jumps and jukes to make distance. Like Dead by Daylight but with a bunch of Mario clones.
Honestly, I think the best hiding spot in being small in the sand kingdom would just be standing in the middle of nowhere, near nothing; you'd be too small to see from a high point, and no one would go search for you in empty space.
