If only that didn't took place there wouldn't be such response. To note the burning only took place starting from around 8:30pm as we have seen people attacking tribal people and House in Imphal and chruch being burnt and vandalised.

Don't know why news doesn't tells the reason why? its because Advanced meiteis community wanted to become ST (Sheduled Tribe). As a result backward indigenous Tribes are not happy. Meiteis are the majority community and highly advanced people they dominates in every fields of the state, including legislatures assembly (out of 60 MLAsthey have 40 mlas) and control all Money Bills, other tribes communities are at their mercy. But Tribals have more lands and meiteis wanted to become Tribal to snatch their land and resources. Its not Kukis vs Meitei, its Meiteis vs Tribals.
Meetei ticks every criteria in the constitution to be included in the ST list. Meeteis are more advanced than you because we go out of our comfort zones and work our asses off to become a better person. We don't stay in a village where it's normalized to boasts about being animalistic and head hunting. We don't promote violence. We don't go out wearing armours and carrying guns to kill people,loot their shops and houses. That in itself shows how far you're lagging behind us socially.

Give ST status to the meitis and then bifurcate the state into two new states, one for the valley and the other for the hills. That is the only way out of this situation.

This one can be solved by having talks with the state government if they believe they aren't given their dues in the other seat reservations such as SC, OBC, or EWS. This will give them the ability to legally own land in the Hill areas. Which normal average people won't benefit from but the rich mf from their community will be the ones to gain from that. The problem is the Meiteis are paranoid about their existence when no one cared about claiming their Imphal Valley even when there are loads of separatist movements in the state which made them want to claim more land in the hill areas as their own historically making the people in the hill area upset.

All this happened because of biren policy this was his plan after all

Don't know why news doesn't tells the reason why? its because Advanced meiteis community wanted to become ST (Sheduled Tribe). As a result backward indigenous Tribes are not happy. Meiteis are the majority community and highly advanced people they dominates in every fields of the state, including legislatures assembly (out of 60 MLAsthey have 40 mlas) and control all Money Bills, other tribes communities are at their mercy. But Tribals have more lands and meiteis wanted to become Tribal to snatch their land and resources. Its not Kukis vs Meitei, its Meiteis vs Tribals.

Meetei ticks every criteria in the constitution to be included in the ST list. Meeteis are more advanced than you because we go out of our comfort zones and work our asses off to become a better person. Give ST status to the meitis and then bifurcate the state into two new states, one for the valley and the other for the hills. That is the only way out of this situation.
Why are we against meiteis getting st status? And why 2 new states when the whole moral core is rotten!

This one can be solved by having talks with the state government if they believe they aren't given their dues in the other seat reservations such as SC, OBC, or EWS. They don't need ST for that if they can go for that solution. And there won't be any pushback or the pushback would be negligible.
2. This will give them the ability to legally own land in the Hill areas. Which normal average people won't benefit from but the rich mf from their community will be the ones to gain from that.
The problem is the Meiteis are paranoid about their existence when no one cared about claiming their Imphal Valley even when there are loads of separatist movements in the state which made them want to claim more land in the hill areas as their own historically making the people in the hill area upset.
