I wanted to stop in and say thank you for your video's on builds and everything. I am a 59 year old man that loves ESO and I think you put out the best content. I am running your Almost Immortal build and am loving it.
by far the best build vid i have watched, kept it simple and easy to understand explaining morphs and perimorphs not to mention making the champion system easy to follow and bonus points for the style section.
Nature's Bounty is a lot of fun but I struggle on harder content. The main weakness of that build for me is the time it takes to heavy attack, where you have to drop block.
I've been running this build, man do I love it, I'll have to watch this video completely to see what changes you've made, but thanks bro, I'll keep running Vet Dungeons with this build like I'm getting hit with soft pillows.. hahaha
Love, love, love this build. Really surprised this build stuck with Winter's Respite tho. The healing is like a quarter of what it did last patch. Battalion Defender is max health based and will heal every second when you block for the same amount Winter's did pre-patch.
One tip tho, you don’t need 6 pieces of winter’s respite you can replace the shield or weapon piece for a Trainee piece, still have your full set plus xtra (1 item) max health from one piece Trainee on your back bar. I love this build, thanks for your contents keep it up 👍
I don't have blackwood, which gear sets require it and are some of the substitutes you mentioned available to me? I checked the written guide, too, but you never mention which DLC are required for which gear set.
I've been running this build for a while now, and I was wondering if anyone else was having problems getting Winter's Respite to proc on altar after the update? I would have to switch zones sometimes to get the proc to work properly and I initially thought they nerfed it. Pc player by the way just to be specific.
^^^ this . It is due for a fix next incremental patch. I did state in the video that this was a bug on PTS at the time of recording and how to fix it. :)

Hi! I dont't have greymoor nor wrathstone!:( Are there any sets that could be viable replacements for the sets that require theese dlcs? Or can i acquire them somehow without having the DLCs?
I love this build and have been using leeching plate for quite a while now. The group healing proc really looked interesting so I went with Hiti’s hearth (will probably test out winters respite as well). Only remark I have is that with this build Im not able to reach 50K health or 20K stam. So what am I missing? I have health enchants on all (except for weapons) got hero’s vigor & boundless vitality and am still missing about 7k health and also my stam pool is much lower. Im nord (so I take the 1K health difference into account) and I am not a vampire. So what am I missing?
For me that's to much health..20k mag and stam with this mag rec would be crazy good for me so tonight is time for testing for me..ty for good builds again and have a good day
I wonder if crimson twilight set would not be a more tanky approach than the winters respite set ? just saying both sets scale of max health plus there is more health bonus of course.

Does the stonekeeper shoulders drop from frost vault. Or do I have to keep opening the chest for 50/50 chance. And even if I get the stonekeeper from the chest it could be a light or medium like what happened for me today.

Yes it does. As explained CLEARLY in the video. There is a bug on pts and unfortunately that came through to live... However if You take the whole set off and put it back on again each time you change locations or join an instance for it to work. THUS resolving the issue for now. This is getting fixed with the next incremental patch :)
I am wondering if this build would be good with a two handed weapon on second bar? I know that stamina is more for two handed base but.. I like the idea of changing up weapons. However, may no be so convenient in the build. What do you guys think?? 🤔
this build not. but you could use tormentor armor and a two Handed weapon. use stamped to mass taunt. before use razor calttops to debuff. second set leeching or crimson twilight are solid options. keep in mind you will need tri pots to sustain.

yea you should run frost staff with elemental blockade to provide crussher, ele drain when needed like in vcr portals. Runing 1h&s on both bar is selfish and dont benefits your group
Love the vid for higher lv. However, I'm completely new to the game and have not played a mmorpg in 12 years lmao. I started with DAoC and then WoW but DAoC hold a special place. Could any commenter or RUclips point me in the direction for a beginner guide to leveling a s&b DK tank?
You cannot buy any of the leeching plate or monster pieces, period. Those drop from dungeons, and monster pieces (the helm and shoulders) drop from veteran dungeons. They are bind on pickup, but are able to be traded with the people who ran the dungeon with you for about 2 hours (assuming you do not bind them). If you are looking for a good build that can TURN INTO this build, I'd go look at his "Easy Tank" video. Edit: I am mistaken, I did forget about a particular NPC that shows up in Cyrodiil on the weekends that you CAN buy pieces from, but you are looking at 100k gold for each monster piece, 150k for each overland piece (such as winter's respite), and 250k for each dungeon piece. The pieces she offers are also random in terms of which set she offers, so it may take months for them to even show up. Just go farm the gear. You will need the Imperial city DLC for leeching plate (free DLC), greymoor for winter's respite, and wrathstone for stonekeeper pieces. I recommend just subscribing to ESO plus. 15 bucks/month is not huge if you've got a job.
i wish there was a way to hide vamp visually. the skills are useful, the way it turns you in to a walking albino corpse just looks ugly, otherwise i'd go for it.

So you did not add a rotation to the tank....I made this tank and well still in process at lvl 40, is there any other streams you have that covers tanking rotation?
There is no rotation for a tank. You need to play actively and fight against mechanics in real time depending on what you are tsnking at the time. Keep buffs up. Maintain a taunt. Block the big stuff. Pretty much the basics there 😀

For this build yes :) And your recovery is SO high with the mythic item and the bonuses already applied that the increase to cost for skills is not a problem. Pretty much all explained in the video but if you like it use it if you don't then don't, but personally yes. Love it
l love this build so much using it since years but always without being a vampire. simply can't stand the looks. I only always place the venomous breath skill for the huge trash debuff it offers. keep working on this. 😉
Someone please help me unlock my brain: From the gear table (mythic) on the web site, it looks like front has 5 LP & 4 WR, back has 3 LP & 6 WR. If you use LP on waist, split S&B on front, and use both WR on S&B on back, you’d get 5/4 on front and 4/5 on back, and then you don’t lose either the health or the mag from the 4th item. What am I overlooking?
It's for the light piece to give the small recovery bonus and reduction to cost due to using vamp 3 (talked about in the video) . But do whatever you like it won't break it, just minor alterations :)

Wouldn't recommend it for trials as its too self fish, group supporting sets like yolnahkriin , alkosh , ebon , worm raiment or even powerful assault sets are needed to min/max group damage and sustain overall. Depending how many tanks you have and what trial you're running.

He kinda answers that in the written guide (though it's in desperate need of an update in regards to things like champion points). A good option would be absorb missile (defensive posture 1hand/shield morph). It provides a pretty large damage shield for 6 seconds, and the first missile that hits you, heals you. Scales off max hp.

Ye they will all be running this no stonefist, no engulfing, no brittle super efficiënt vampire DK tank with mistform that provides the maximum possible group benefit by having 2 shields on the frontbar.
You can run vet trials with any build you want as long as it does the job. And if you are running with a group that won't "let" you run trials unless you run "approved" builds...find another group.
being that this isn't WoW, "best" doesn't actually apply. you can literally play as any race. the racial passives don't make or break any build. but you WILL need to plug things like health and resistances if (for instance) you choose to run this build with a Redguard, for instance. however, as for the race recommendation that Xy gives for this build - it's literally in the video.

It's currently bugged and it's been reported. Just when you go through a load screen unequip it and re equip it it works

Welcome to ESO. I am just coming back after playing at launch and am loving all the new content. I am very happy with the way the game has matured.
Dragon knights are definitely an extremely good class to tank with same with templars simply because of how much heal they have

For me, as of Blackwood dropping, Sanguine Altar no longer creates a ground effect, and thus no longer triggers Winter's Respite.

How is your HP so high? With 64 attribute points in health I cap out at 36k

There Is options in the gear for yoln, galenwe etc... So u can still use this build

This game needs a stomp that does an AOE taunt. Having to run around and poke everything one by one is very annoying and boring.
