I'm getting a mini 6 too. I have a pro 11 2nd. It's awesome but this helps when you're on the move. Use the pro for everything else and mini 6 for writing and drawing on the go
I really love your honesty about why you bought an IPad. I'm in the exact same buying process where I currently have a Leuchturm 1917 notebook A5 to take notes and joting ideas while I'm programming and I don't find any substitute using my computer with my keyboard and my mouse. There is no substitute to drawing a couple of words and drawing arrows arround while trying to find a solution to a problem. But having a paper notebook in 2023 at my age (more than 40) could be considered as if I'm outdated in term technologically. There is also the fact that if I don't take pictures of my notes, it's really hard to find something I written a couple of months ago. But after doing a couple of researchs, I found that in CAD currency, an IPad à 680$ + a Case at 40$ + an apple pencil at 170$ and finally a Paperlike protector at 50$ + taxes is around 1100$ so I really have to justify this amount compared to a high class notebook at 20$. Yes, I can do so many other things with that beast but while I watching your video, that makes me smile because you looks in the same process as me when you bought it. :)
thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree that getting Apple products is something we really need to think hard of and if we are willing to make that investment. For me, the combination of being able to manually write down my notes & thoughts, plus the convenience of easily finding my written notes (even with bad handwriting) are the main reason I got this. I don’t see myself getting a new iPad Mini anytime soon, so I believe I can maximize this to the fullest! 😉
If you are left handed the mini might be better for you as you do not have to rest your hand awkwardly on the glass while you write on the far half of the page
Came back to your channel after almost a year. Good thing I remembered your channel name, after searching for ydnimc i realized oh, ydnim = mindy. Nice videos as always.
I think you’re getting the “screen distortion” issue when writing on thin LCD panels. Do you have a tempered glass on your ipads? I believe it removes the distortion.
Hi am so so confused about I pad mini 6 display😅 I want iPad for study and drawing and video editing and camera and pics Plz tell me I think I pad mini 6 for me I think it's really good But display it's small 😞 This my first I pad
I like the video, it's focusing in writing experience instead of talking too much about the attribute of product.
Thanks for sharing the video stating the use of smaller and bigger iPads 👍👍
thanks for watching!
I am currently considering getting the mini for the exact same reason

Your videos are so good! You are too underrated

Nope I don’t use screen protectors. Thanks for the tip though!
I got a matte glass screen protector from Amazon. Two in a package for 12 dollars. Not paper like but it does help me to get a more paper feel.
They suck when you draw and write
Hi, Mindy.
Thanks for this great video. I just wonder if you have returned your iPad pro 12.9? Thanks
thanks for watching! I’m keeping both iPads 😅 I got my iPad Pro about a year ago & btw it’s the 11” model😉
What sort of job you have ? I really appreciate iPad but for me it's not that much of use other than entertainment.
nice pen spin yewwww....
🤙
huge difference in lag as you can see.
can u use scribbles feature on ipad mini 6 ?
Yes!
Do you use screen protector?
No I don’t 😊 I used to have one that has the matte/paperlike feel, but I took it out as I didn’t like how it reduces the quality of videos I watch.

It works well for me with those things but I would recommend trying in store. Best Buy or Apple to get a feel for yourself.
