  • Made by the Norwegian national television to mark Martins last season in ERC. I have no idea why they included Mark Renisons crash and the rolling Beetle. Ripped from Lyngås 2001 broadcast by NRK.

Has this video been shared somewhere? 😅 I uploaded this 4 years ago but I have suddenly got many views and comments the last days. No problem, it was made by norwegian broadcasting for the last race Martin Schanche did in Norway, back in 2001.

@@TufteMotorsport Yes I am sharing this with my friends who made the Rallycross history in France ( St Junien/ Faux Bergerac ). Unfortunately I can't share my vintage photos in 🇫🇷 on youtube, sorry. 🙁
I didn't know the Norwegian commercial with Martin before. Great too.

Love watching those old races when men and machine was at their very best.
    The music's pretty good too.

Murray Walker aka Mr F1 in the U.K once called Mr Rallycross the Mercurial Norwegian …I never knew what it meant and still don’t but it’s gotta be something to do with gettting about a bit or displaying a tendancy to be a Viking warrior with a fast ford

Mmmmm... In 1992 François Delecour ran with his car ( Ford RS 200 ) for the European championship in France for him.
