    "Schanche had his throttle stick open"....that was impossible to tell with Martin because he never lifted off the throttle anyway!

    Remember it well there was a big Oooooo! And you could feel the heat in the Grandstand had great years in December at Brands good good times.

    Great content. I'm a huge fan of european rallycross from these glory days. Since I from Sweden we did have a lot of good drivers. Hansen, Eklund, Jernberg and the Audi-driver Tommy Kristoffersson. Norway also had Ludvig Hunsbedt except of Martin Schanche. Hope you upload more :)

      Me too. My dad worked for Hornby Hobbies who made Scalextric and they had some sponsors stickers on Squibbs car - somehow we managed to get into the hospitality suite above the start and finish line and I can remember watching the fireball from Schanches crash - it was later afternoon in December, so it was already getting dark and the fire lit up so bright !

      Yeah it was dusk so it really light up.... I now race round the track too.but no where as fast or as skilled
