State of the Collection 2023 | Seiko, Rolex, Casio, Swatch, and 45 Watches!

- It's that time of year where all of us watch enthusiasts on RUclips showcase the current state of the collection to round up the year!
This is the first time I'm ever showcasing my entire collection and first long video over 30 minutes. @JustOneMoreWatch I have no clue how you consistently make these long format videos... Tips please!
Every watch has a story and I go through my thought process choosing the watches in my collection as well as why I'm still holding it on to this day, some of which I attribute to my origin stories as a watch collector.
Whether you're into Rolex watches or ultra affordable watch brands like Timex, I'd say every watch acquisition is a personal journey and the collection you end up with is truly special.
I know this is a very different video than what I usually do so please, if for some reason you don't enjoy it, stick around because my usual video formats will still be produced.
If you did enjoy this video, then feel free to check out my other videos if you haven't already. Until then, I'll see you all in the next video!

Mostly junk
Love my junk 😬
@@ClickyBezelgood, you should. Cause admiting it's junk wouldn't serve you well.
@@Dr.Mzungu thanks doc
Your comment is the most junk i've seen since I started this video.
@@ClickyBezelit’s not junk. They are all amazing
I walked into a Rolex boutique today and asked them if they have any Seiko Pepsi’s in stock. The salesman gave me the longest stare I have ever received in retail.
Haha! Wish I was there to see. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! I love how this isn’t a flex. You’ve got some inexpensive cool watches here too, true enthusiast!
Thanks for watching! Collectors only looking at “expensive” luxury pieces are truly missing out on a lot of great watches in the more obtainable range.
I love the collection. The aw50 was one of the first watches that started my love for collecting. Such an interesting piece.
very nice !!! i have the same laco its TGV approved lol
Haha you really can’t go wrong with Laco. Thanks for watching!
Such a cool collection
So diverse
Really enjoyed the back stories to the watches
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed my SOTC video. 🍻

I know this video is a little bit different from my usual formats but thought I'd close out the year with a SOTC video! Hope you all enjoyed it and see you next year!
ew.
That's why I like Casio, it can be put next to the best (posh) in the world with no shame whatsoever.
Bro review hmt watch
My Indian friend have that watch and its get Japanese movment
I really appreciate that your collection is accessible to us average folks. Too often, other channel talk about their collections, and while they're incredible, they’re really not attainable.
I love massive, diverse collections like this. I also have Vostoks which I have modded and I have to say, they get so much wrist time and a lot more notice than my other watches. I love their engineering and design, having worn them on a lot of trips they have so many useful features you wouldnt normally notice.
Finally a Clicky Bezel SOTC!!
It was a doozy filming this video but I made it happen! Hope you enjoy :)
I enjoyed your video but the Laco wasn't your "first swiss watch", Laco is German. I like the your collect what you like attitude.
He said he was in Germany and wanted a German watch before that he clearly must have misspoken
Bruh people always have something to say!
Yeah I was being pedantic, I agree he misspoke and knew it wasn't swiss
The laco Leipzig in the video uses a sellita movement (SW 210) so it is a swiss watch movement. It would be his first swiss watch as in watch with a swiss movement.
@@chaynemorley They may be seen as arbitrary by some, but there are rules on watches deemed "swiss made" or a swiss watch. Not only should the movement be swiss, the watch should be assembled in Switzerland and 60% of manufacturing costs should be swiss. Yes he has a watch with a swiss movement but it is not a swiss watch.
The heritage of the piece is a black dial....it should have a black dial...but I have to say, the white looks so much better, and that would be my choice. In this instance...stuff heritage!
i've been meaning to do a [insert title card]
I feel like I’m being attacked 😅
The Seiko Pepsi is definitely the best watch of all time. That SKX009J is a neo-vintage classic.
That's the real watch collection. I mean, when you see only Omega, Rolex, Grand Seiko, you're like "come on, dude, how long you're heating for watches?". I love big brands, they're pinnacle, and they aren't even boring, they're cool, but in collection footages when it's only those brands, that's just weird.
I really enjoyed this video, I found it really interesting how I have had the same "evolution" as you, from Casio, Timex, Seiko, Swiss brands, etc... I truly enjoyed this video of the journey you have had as an enthusiast. I just found your channel, you have a new subscriber, keep the good work!
Thank you for sharing your collection and your watch journey. Cheers
Thanks for taking the time to watch this longggg video. I was afraid it would get too long winded haha. Cheers 🍻
good collection. the ‘Pepsi’ GMT is a wonderful watch, well done getting that. the OP is a really interesting ‘silver Explorer’ too. some fun Seiko and Casio models, and your strap choices are clever as they often widen the appeal of your pieces.
Thanks! The Pepsi is definitely a prized possession of mine. Stay tuned, as I'm working on a proper review of this piece. See you in the next one!
I personally don't get how someone could get rid of such a sentimental piece from their late father, watch person or not. But you can find deals this way. I bought my seamaster automatic 41mm from someone else's late father's collection for $1300 a whole while back. One of my best deals at the time. But my best deals had to be my Rolex pre-ceramic sub date for $4500, speedy pro for $2600, and my Tudor Pelagos 39 for $2700, latter 2 I picked up last year.
Thanks for showing your watch collection! I strongly think there is absolutely no watch that belongs in every watch collection! The reason why is very simple: every watch collection is very personal and individual! What one likes another dislikes! That's the case with all things, watches, music and so on.
Finally a sotc watch video I can sit through the whole time and be jealous about every single one! I personally love the aw50 the most!
Thanks for taking the time to sit through my video! The Braun is such an underrated watch. Cheers 🍻
I love how most of your collection were “finds” and it is made up of watches of all different prices and brands! It really shows that you can be a watch collector at any price range and really enjoy the hobby!
What made you choose the Pepsi over a Batgirl ? Also would you purchase a Submariner or Daytona in the future ?
I’ve always loved the Pepsi, especially the 6542 which I’ve had the pleasure to wear and work with in the past. It’s kind of like a Porsche 911, updated and refined from the originals.
As for a Submariner purchase, I’ve been lucky to be around a lot of them and sadly have been jaded, especially with a lot of other divers out there that pique my interest.
A Daytona will enter my collection, but it has to be the right one. I’m thinking a Zenith Daytona close to my birth year.
Hope you enjoyed the video! And thanks for watching!
Subbed. Keep growing. Love the affordable ones tho.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed my video. Hope to see you in my future videos!
I like your video😊 my watch all of them 50% the same with you, you're very very good 👍👍👍 l appreciate you.
Thanks for watching! You got great taste haha
First of all, thank you for sharing your state of collection.I might need to buy more watches after watching your video. #CasioBeside #Seiko5RainbowDial."
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video!
Wow this is a lot. If you enjoy and wear all these watches that’s great, but for me personally I would get rid of 90% of these watches, there’s just no way I would wear them all
Pretty sure Seiko didn’t use Zaratsu on any of their SPB/SBDC divers. Nice collection tho!
Started strong but finished like a typical Rolex fan boy.
Sorry I didn’t meet your expectations! Don’t Rolex fan boys only like Rolex though 😅. Regardless, thanks for making it to the end!
The greatest watch ever created? Let’s be real, man.
Just my opinion. Love at first sight years ago. What’s your favorite watch of all time?
@ClickyBezel very nice collection. All of them in section- collecting all I like are similar to what I also like 👍🏼
Pagani design ?
Didn’t stay in the collection for long. Thanks for watching!
@@ClickyBezel Is it not good bro?
Get a macro lens, and add another lught. Youre spending on gear anyways, spend on the right stuff
Very impressive collection, question how do you find rotating with such a vast collection ?? Love from 🇬🇧 UK
Great question, it’s a struggle haha. I really try to be intentional with what watches I wear everyday, sometimes I’d switch several watches a day if I’m able to. My plan for 2024 is to track the watches I wear per day. It should be interesting haha.
Thanks for watching and hope to see you in the next video!
Buy vacheron constantin and omega speedmaster. Avoid patek and AP
5kx for 80$?? They dont sell to the dealers for that price
awsome SOTC man!! low key my favorite watch is probably that WMT 😂 love the paper cut-out look haha
Thanks a lot man! The WMT is so fun. I knew I had to pick it up when I laid my eyes on it lol.
May I know the strap on the Seiko at @5:42? Loved it!
Glad you mentioned the shaky table cause it was making me feel carsick lol
It was annoying me the entire time I was putting together the video… glad you hung in there till the end haha.
Awesome video, really enjoyed the format and watches included! Good to see the collection all together like that, and that friend who got you into Vostok also got me into them too. He's a bit of a bad influence lol. Cheers mate and keep it up!
Thanks! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I was a bit skeptical of this format but people seem to enjoy it. Also, do we know each other?!
I love all of your watches and the stories. Similar to my tastes in watches. Makes me happy. My crazy “grail watches” like your Casios are 1970 quartz. Double quartz with king seikos with all different color faces. Seiko has always done beautiful watches. Oh and j also have a little collection of Ebbets field caps including that Fuji club hat. Ok it’s not a little collection
Great watches! And caps 😆. I also have a healthy amount of Ebbets field caps and looking for a Troy O’Shea cap but I can never time their releases! Thanks for watching me talk for nearly 40 minutes 🙌
you're a nice dude, greetings from Vienna, AT
Consider Rolex sky dweller, yes it is up there but she is great, try one on and you will understand. Pick the jubilee bracelet for comfort. Save up and go on a list, as my list took 18 months to obtain. It's really the "cat's meow" watch.😅
I've had the opportunity to spend time with a bunch of Sky-Dwellers and I can see the appeal. It's basically the ultimate everyday watch. We'll see if it ends up in the collection haha.
Hello and thanks for this video. I loved the way you created categories to explain why and how your watches are yours. And also the time you took to clealy note each one into the description. A great video for a really unique collection.
Thank you! I had to make sense of the collection as well. This was the first time I laid out all my watches and admit it was quite overwhelming haha. Glad you enjoyed the video!
How long did the Sistem 51 last, before it stopped working? I've heard you can get 10 years out of it.😊
No more than 3 years lol. But then again, my watch was the 1st generations.
Buying straps of Craigslist…. ?
Did you ever own that Minase?
The 090 is a beautiful watch ⌚
How 'bout that. ANOTHER watch youtuber that has at least one Rolex. Follow the herd.
What’s wrong with Rolex? 😅
OMG Vostok watch. Thanks.
Such a beautiful collection. Love the production quality. Keep pushing my bro. More life in 2024 ✌️
Pepsi is great. The OP's are also OK. The rest is just tat, and if you had not spent your money on them - you could have got another decent watch. Apart from the undesirablity, the money you spent on these is lost. Spend your cash well, on quality timepieces, and you will not lose much - indeed you may make money.
I enjoy all the pieces in my collection as it is a progression of my watch journey. It may not be the most extravagant pieces but I enjoyed every moment to acquisition. I’m not really collecting watches to make money clearly haha. Thanks for watching!
@@ClickyBezel You misrepresent what I said. I said you have basically lost all the money you spent on the tat, and that by buying quality - and buying well - you could avoid much of that loss. The making money part of my comment was just an accurate off-shoot. I have a good collection, and the difference is that - without me selling anything - one day, my son can keep one or two as heirlooms (worthy of that term), and can turn the rest into real cash, that can help him in his life. However, if you get run over by a bus, all that will remain of your collection will be worthless tat - with the exception of the Rolexes. But I'm glad for you that you have enjoyed your watch 'journey'.
Cheeky Devil 😂
Cool collection, very different styles and pieces than mine. Pretty cool to see the different directions that people go in with their collecting journey and what styles they like. Especially cool considering that you're absolutely right, the journey starts off with Seiko's and veers off from there
I really enjoy your content. Definitely one of my favorite watch content creators. I like your tastes** and that you're not doing the same 10 watches that everybody else reviews. I like the vintage and budget stuff especially. I'm into seikos.
Speaking of which:
Your 7a chrono hands need adjusting. Just pull the crown to date position, then the pushers adjust the chrono hands/subdials to noon. Very easy.
I'll subscribe.
**edit: except for the rolexes. They are boring and purchased by douchebags to display their wealth.
I’m a bit late to the party BUT I’m going to Tokyo in about 3 weeks! Your thoughts are on point with mine. It’s fun watching your videos!
great video. huge collection. consolidation is in order for me nowadays.. if i were you, the Laco, the salmon/brown Casio, the OP - love that, and the Pepsi - which is amazing are all I’d need. both the turquoise OP and Tokyo that your wife has are amazing too.
Incredibly diverse collection buddy!
Thanks a lot!
I’m sorry that this sounds so dark, but every time I see the thumbnail for this video it looks like a makeshift memorial that’s been set up, and that we’re standing vigil.
Each of your Rolexes are fantastic. You are very fortunate to have been allocated the Pepsi, and the Tiffany OP.
If I had your collection, I would happily wear one of the Rolexes every day.
We can all use a G-Shock beater in our collections, but I can't think why I would be tempted to wear any one of the others. I'm genuinely puzzled.
Such a great collection, the 2 standout pieces for me are the stunning Squale Corso Italiano (I came so close to buying one of these at Christmas.....one day hopefully!) and my ultimate grail the Rolex Pepsi GMT.
Really cool!
lol bro is showing off his cameras more than the watches

The OP 369 with the silver dial is a great choice. Great signature watch as I don’t see anyone else wearing them.
What straps did you put on the Swtach Omega Collab watches?
I really enjoy your content and perspective. Thank you for taking the time to do this. You're a good dude

so many seikos but no grand seiko?
I’ve yet to find the right one for me. Still to this day!
Just came across your channel. I love your style, editing, and delivering of your content. I want to ask, what strap do you have on That seiko samurai and the seiko alpinist.?
Appreciate it! The green strap on the Alpinist is from CNS Bands. I don't have a Samurai but maybe you're referring to the Monster or SBDC053?
I would sell everything except for the Chrono and the Rolexes, and maybe one G-Shock.
I was really considering selling off a lot but I have a lot of personal stories attached to them. Also, it wouldn't be worth it in terms of monetary value I could get back from them. Thanks for watching!
Watched the whole video, enjoyed it. Really liked the collection, the experience behind them for you. The proudness of the 3 Tiffany blue watches of your wife's. You should be too. Well done .
