I'm still in awe of your sawing skills, Jason. I think this was the first time I've seen the laser. Also, thanks for taking the time to wave to the camera. Bill
Should of got helle to install some cant kickers cuz I’m sure all the valves are there and the button on the log turner handle that way you don’t have to use the log turner everytime it would speed up your production by 25 percent or more
Great job on this video! The process of sawing cherry logs was explained so well, and I found it very informative. Your careful approach and thorough explanations taught me a lot about the value of precision in woodworking
goodnight! I'm from Brazil and we're looking to build a band saw like this one, but we're having difficulty finding this saw. Could you give me the contact details of someone who has one for sale? grateful
I am a sawyer from south dakota (not known for trees) we do have some really nice hardwoods, have a large bandsaw that I built from scratch, I really enjoy learning from other expierenced sawyers you have a great channel.

Thanks Bill. Yes laser is hard to see.
Nice wood that cherry!
Very pretty. Thanks for watching.
Your middle wheel on the carriage looks seized it’s not rolling down the track
It's not seized. It only makes contact beside saw. Tracks wore down through there.
@@nicholssawmillandmore Ya I have the same problem. We get our wheels machined down every couple of years

Would be faster for sure
Nice, very enjoyable watching you saw!
Thanks a bunch
The first two logs looked like veneer quality. Third log was definitely hobby wood. It’s all good, love this stuff!
I agree with your opinion of the wood. Thanks for watching.
What are you going to do with the cants that went thru? Great video! Thanks Jason!
Railroad tie out of first 2 and 4x6 out of last one pallet material.

good job sawing Jason !
Mark - would it be worth you upgrading Chewy's teeth to the same as the log turner here? They seem less damaging and more effective.
Thanks Mark.
What brand of carriage are you running ?
Edmiston carriage. Helle setworks and controls.
where is your Laser?
There's a rod that sticks out from top of saw cab with laser mounting on it. Thanks for watching.
