I love your quilts and your get together time with all of us quilters. Now I need my fix everyday. Makes me smile. I love the way you put your fabrics together.
I think it is so wonderful of you to giving so many of your quilts away for charity. I to give a lot of my quilts away. It is so hard to part with our quilts. But nice to make others enjoy our quilts isn’t it ?
Beautiful quilts. My personal favourite has to be the Disappearing Nine Patch. That butter yellow fabric I love and all the colours work so well with it. Just seeing that quilt makes me want to do one with the same choices. Thanks for sharing.👍❤️😊
The mention of Dan River fabrics bring back lots of fond memories. My mom worked in a small department store that had a fabric department. When the Dan River came in I would drool over it. Just something about it. I did not quilt back then but Mother would make me blouses, etc. Thanks Pat!
I am really enjoying your quilt parades! So much fun seeing all that you have made. Amazing! Your idea of the green in the Childhood Memories is a good one. It looks very nice. Happy sewing.
Love your new Front Door Quilt! And, amazed at all the quilts you are donating! What lucky recipients. Thanks for the tutorial on sashings. I’m thinking maybe navy and yellow - or maybe not. I will audition also. 😊
I so appreciate your "minds eye" your color combos always come together so nicely. I struggle so much, I can't see the end result. I cannot wait to see the end result of childhood memories.
Thank you for showing us your quilts, I loved every one of them, the rest of the day's show was interesting as well. You go great with my morning coffee and get us inspired to go to our sewing machines.
I loved playing jacks outdoors. My last elementary school, I attended 4, had a jacks tournament after school. When we moved to the edge of town, my sisters and I played a lot of croquet. Thanks for another great video. I love walking through the sashing process.

I like the disappearing 9 path- I may have to try it.
Good use of extra parts!
This year I want to make one for myself. ❤
@pat sloan looks amazing!
Pat maybe you could do a disappearing quilt! Use all disappearing blocks … 4 patch, 9 patch, half square triangles, hourglass ….
I like the dark green
Love the chain quilt from 2003!! Where can we get the pattern?
I would also like the pattern for the (pink) chain quilt...Also would like a sew along for the disperening 9 patch...
Red rover and Simon says.
Pat, do you have the pattern available for the spool block in the Grandma's kitchen Quilt, or know where I can find driving it? I love it!
sure! go to my quilt along website www.ilovetomakequilts.com/ and to the Grandma's kitchen page www.ilovetomakequilts.com/grandmas-kitchen-sew-along.html
I have a disappearing nine patch in my future, but I have directional fabric. Will it still work OK?
Yes, but watch alignments. All one way usually, though can have “circling“ the center.
Not loving the green and yellow for sashing just saying, but as I have heard “you’re the boss of your quilt.”😊
94k update
Hmmm. Green sashing...? 🤔
The dark green looks great, not so sure about the light green...
Dark green for binding

Do you place door panel inside or outside for you door?

I honestly don’t think that the green and yellow go with the quilt at all. JMO
Love seeing all those awesome quilts you have made.
