- Uniform Recruitment has implemented a screening tool to ensure candidates can successfully complete the current physical employment standard at the Ontario Police College (OPC), and reduce their chance of injury during training. Prior to the interview phase, applicants will be invited to participate in this physical assessment, consisting of the Leger 20m Shuttle Run. Candidates will be evaluated as per the established cardiovascular endurance standard of the Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police (PREP). The required PREP standard is a Level 7 on the Leger 20m Shuttle Run. Successful completion of this standard before hiring predicts a candidate’s ability to meet the aerobic demands of the test and increases chances of success in reaching the required standard prior to graduation from OPC.

Will see you officer.
Thank you for providing the resource for candidates. 👍

Can you do this in person?
What makes one complete stage? Front n back or each time you run 20 meters is one stage? Sorry I dont know
about to record this tomorrow! thanks guys
Hi bro me too I'm preparing for that. Any tips highly appreciated
My PB was 17.5 in the shuttle run. It was set back in the early 90s, when I was in my peak fitness at the time. I’m 52 now, and I do have degenerative chronic lower back pain, so running for me now, would shatter my back. I’m limited to just nice little walks now.
@@ozzygrunt4812 nice never been a sprinter more of a long distance runner but injuries kept me out . Anyways videos done now! on to the LFI stage now. Cheers
@@vinnyvan8851Good one, I was a cross country runner since I was 14. Went on to compete, until my back started to give me grief
