I put the same kit on about a year ago and love the look. I cut the muffler tips down so they aren't visible in the valance sleeve though. I recommend that for sure.
Looks and sounds awesome. I like the all black valance especially with the black accents you have added to your Stang. I appreciate you taking the time and putting these videos out here for us to view.
Thanks! If I ever get the side skirts painted, I may consider painting the rear valence too. But, it's more paint that could be chipped. So, I'll probably just leave it as is.
Yeah, I have the back up camera. The circles you are talking about are for the back up sensors, that beep when you get close to an object. I don't have the back up sensors.
No, it's more of a deep rumble. If you want to avoid in cabin noise as much as possible, just do an axle-back system and leave the factory resonator in place. Removing the resonator is really what affects how much you hear inside the car on the S550's.
16P51-GT does any part of you think the exhaust is too loud? Do you think the touring quad exhaust would have been better? Is it really loud from 1st thru 4th gear going easy say shifting at 3k?
That pops of exhaust are sick man. Does it any drone or noticeable comparing with touring catback? thinking about switch it with current frpp touring. thanks!
It's a lot raspier than the Touring exhaust. No drone, I love it! I was a little hesitant to make the switch to the Sport exhaust because I didn't want anything too loud. But, I'm glad that I did it.
I did this installation in 20 minutes. I don't know why you went with Ford's instructions. All you have to do is remove the bumper bottom premium frame which is done by removing a few screws.
Yeah, Check out the American Muscle RTR Diffuser Installation. It is the same thing you will do with the GT350 Valance. www.americanmuscle.com/rtr-rear-diffuser-1516-manu-install.html Maybe on the next time it will be more helpful :)
That's because he is going to do it the way Ford instructs to do it. If you do it the same way you will with RTR diffuser, you don't have to spend all that time. That way you don't have to take off the rear bumper or tail lights. It took me 20 min cuz I already knew what to do. If its your first time and you decide to do it the way I say, it might take you 1 hour top. It's very simple.
As long as they are hub-centric, you'll be fine. Most people that I know with the stock wheels put spacers on. Makes it look a lot better especially when you lower it.
Thanks. I'm reading that more (dealer needs to prove). I don't have 1,000 miles yet, so figuring out as I go. Your videos are helpful! I have a Magnaflow exhaust arriving today, interior LED lighting next.
I would have preferred a one piece tip. But, I liked the GT350 rear valence better than the Roush. Took me a long time to decide between the two, but I'm happy with it!
Brandon and I were talking about it during the install, and it is possible. However, I don't know which other exhausts would work with it after you cut the tips out. And also, I don't think you can buy the rear valence without the exhaust. At least I haven't seen it sold, other than a carbon fiber replica. But, maybe going through a dealership they could order it?
16P51-GT Not sure if you know of it yet, but MagnaFlow makes a catback for the GT350 that you literally *have to* cut out the factory, valance-mounted tips off to fit. It retains the flap-activated "active" feature of the GT350 too; not sure about the "fit & finish" to a '16 GT like yours, but may be worth a look, (and it's MagnaFlow so it's a very tame system compared to the FR/Borla kit). Either way, thought I'd just let you know in case of you haven't seen it, the build's coming along nice! Take care bud!
l like getting notifications that you've posted a new vid. From day 1 mod till now how much money do you think you've saved doing everything yourself + friends instead of a pro shop. your thoughts on the Pypes or QTP electric cutout kit?
Thanks! I've probably saved at least $1000. I don't know anyone with the cutout kit, but if I were to go for active exhaust I'd probably go with the X-Force that allows you to control the exhaust through an app on your phone to adjust it.
Are you going to dyno it now and compare to your previous exhaust? I've had the FRPP Sport GT350 for about 6 months and love it. It gets raspy! I wish I had a dyno comparison on mine.
I'll probably dyno it soon and then again after I do headers. I never got it dyno'd after switching to the Lund tune and JLT intake, so I'm really looking to see the numbers after headers.
This Exhuast isn't nearly as loud as the Roush. I just Kept the valance and reinstalled my Roush mufflers without the tip. Then took it to a muffler shop to get a custom tip to accommodate the valance. Not worth $1800
I just wish the borla had a full 3" option for the S550 to go with my headers. I will probably swap out my MBRP race for the Corsa Extreme quads one of these days. Just not sure I can go that loud after hearing Brandon's car lol
NGTMare lol I'm thinking about the Corsa extreme quad tip myself. what scares me is that I live next to the police chief in a small town and the guy is a dick. may just settle for the sport
Thanks! I ordered them already mounted and balanced with the TPMS sensors included. So, when they arrived I just put them on with help from my brother.
I ordered mine with the TPMS included, I had to pay extra for that. You can swap your existing TPMS sensors too if you don't want to order them mounted and balanced. They just need to be programmed, there is a TPMS programmer tool that you can buy to do it. Although, I've heard that they program themselves on the S550's, not sure how true that is as I've always used the tool.
16P51-GT I know you orders them already included but when you ordered them did you still have to program them with the training tool or was everything ready to go??
Nice bro, I was looking into the Roush Quads for my Eco. Just way to expensive for me right now. Think I'm going with the MBRP Race Cat-Back until I can afford the upgrade to the quads.
They're not as loud as the Extreme's in my opinion. But, I may do a comparison video, if I can find someone that has the Extreme's without headers since mine doesn't have headers yet.
Yeah, it's hard to capture sound accurately on video. That's why I usually tell people to try and listen to them in person rather than rely on video sound clips.
Hi guys , Any one know if I install this to my gt convertible (Australian version ) do I have to do any modifications, I heard I might have to remove the rear braces If anyone got more information about this will be great
LOVE the way it sounds!!! On a scale of 1-5 (5 being loudest) how loud is the exhaust? BTW, I've always thought the black stipe down the side of your GT looks mean and clean.
I actually like the original look. Quad tips do nothing for you. The two tone valance is more aesthetically pleasing. But it's your car and your opinion is all that matters. Love the vlogs so please keep them going.
Took me a while to get rid of the premium bumper because I liked the two tone as well. But, seeing this valence in person changed my mind. I actually thought of doing some white accents on it, and may still do so in the future. But, in my case moving to the quads did change the sound because I went with the Sport exhaust instead of the Touring that I had on their previously. Plus, I like the look of quads.
I don't know about you, but I have the FRPP Sport Catback with SW Longtube Headers, and after I installed those headers, the car just became obnoxiously loud. The RASPY tone really went up. So I went ahead and took out the Ford Racing X-pipe and switched it with the Borla Resonator. Sounds a little higher than stock, but a little lower than the normal FRPP Sport sound. But sounds even better as it does not have any raspy sound and sounds like a true old classic muscle car. If you like loud and raspy, then go for it. If not, buy yourself the Borla Resonator. It's a direct fit. I'm very happy and relieved by it :)
I put the same kit on about a year ago and love the look. I cut the muffler tips down so they aren't visible in the valance sleeve though. I recommend that for sure.
Good idea, I never thought about that. Thanks!
Looks and sounds awesome. I like the all black valance especially with the black accents you have added to your Stang. I appreciate you taking the time and putting these videos out here for us to view.
Thanks for watching!
I like how you, Brandon, Terrance, and Jason help each other out with your mods. Good to have friends that help
Been supporting for about a month now. Very good quality on your vids. Keep up the content!
Thanks for the support!

You know what sounds great the Roush axle back with the heartthrob H Pipe that sounds killer!
I've heard the Roush, but not sure if I've heard it with that H Pipe. But, I love Roush products!
16P51-GT same here! I have the Axle backs on my 2012 V6! Love them
The look and the sound are great !!
Thanks!
sounds real good or do a gloss black to match the rear valance
Thanks! If I ever get the side skirts painted, I may consider painting the rear valence too. But, it's more paint that could be chipped. So, I'll probably just leave it as is.
Good addition to your car sounds and looks great
Thanks!
Sounds very brutal now love that sound especially when you did the pulls on the highway from the cabin POV very nice mod choice bro keep it up. 👍🏼
Thanks, man!
Why don't you have little round circles on your back bumper? Don't you have the back up camera?
Yeah, I have the back up camera. The circles you are talking about are for the back up sensors, that beep when you get close to an object. I don't have the back up sensors.
16P51-GT So if my car doesnt have the back up sensors can this work on my base s550?
Thank you the video and clear audio, I've been debating exhausts for months. it was either do the extra work for this or the Borla ATAK.
Thanks! Both are good options.
Where in Virginia are you? Would love to see your car pass by here in Fairfax!
I'm in Virginia Beach
like the sound of the quad tips. Lot of pops. I've got the Borla S type on mine
Borla makes some nice exhausts!
I know you been asked this before but do you ever have issues with drone with you’re set up?
Looks and sounds great Ali! Liking the all black valance. You need to go see Jason and tint the rear reflectors!
Thanks! I actually had the reflectors tinted, I removed the tint because I wanted the red to show to give a little contrast.
Suggestions for a muffler that has a deep LOW sound, louder than stock is ok, but still minimizing in-cabin noise?
I had the Ford Racing by Borla Touring exhaust and liked it.
Hard for me to tell via RUclips, but isn't the Borla more of a high pitched note?
No, it's more of a deep rumble. If you want to avoid in cabin noise as much as possible, just do an axle-back system and leave the factory resonator in place. Removing the resonator is really what affects how much you hear inside the car on the S550's.
Where did you get the dash cam for front and back from
Could you do some videos on your exhaust and what you think after having it for a few weeks? I'm thinking of getting the same exact one
Sure, I plan on doing a follow up video covering all of the mods on my car.
16P51-GT sweet looking forward to it
16P51-GT does any part of you think the exhaust is too loud? Do you think the touring quad exhaust would have been better? Is it really loud from 1st thru 4th gear going easy say shifting at 3k?
I was looking at the rear and it seemed to be missing a carbon fiber gt350r wing
LOL! That's not happening. I have the Roush spoiler, so I can't switch even if I wanted to. The holes would be exposed. I do like that wing though.
WOW bro!! Definitely dig the quad tip look and sound for sure!👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks! I've been wanting quads for a while, just kept debating between the Ford Racing or Roush.
Nice exhausts Ali, Sounds great too!
Thanks, I'm enjoying it!
But, I'm glad that I did it.
thanks!
You're welcome!
Dante Shin yea I do love mine when it pop sounds like a gt350 dead on 😁
When do you hear the pop and crackle sound bro?
I want to get this done. Where did you buy the exhaust from and how much was it?
Congrats man! Thanx for the post.
Thanks!
I did this installation in 20 minutes. I don't know why you went with Ford's instructions. All you have to do is remove the bumper bottom premium frame which is done by removing a few screws.
Never seen it done any way other than how we did it. But, if there is a faster way I wish I would have known then.
Yeah, Check out the American Muscle RTR Diffuser Installation. It is the same thing you will do with the GT350 Valance.
www.americanmuscle.com/rtr-rear-diffuser-1516-manu-install.html
Maybe on the next time it will be more helpful :)
MustafaGT sure is helpful every site I looked LMR, CJ has the same removal process as we seen here. Thanks for the tip, that is helluva time saver.
You did this in 20 mins? Damn. Guy who is going to do mine said 3 hours
It's very simple.
what's your opinion about wheels
spacers. 25mm for rear. running 19 from the fPP GT . thinking bout maybe getting some.
.
As long as they are hub-centric, you'll be fine. Most people that I know with the stock wheels put spacers on. Makes it look a lot better especially when you lower it.
Do you know if the cat back systems pose any risk to the factory warranty?
They shouldn't. But as with any modification, the dealer would need to prove the mod caused any failure in order to deny a warranty claim.
Thanks. I'm reading that more (dealer needs to prove). I don't have
1,000 miles yet, so figuring out as I go. Your videos are helpful! I
have a Magnaflow exhaust arriving today, interior LED lighting next.
shop tha did mine didn't have to remove the rear bumper
Yeah, I've heard someone else say that. But, the instructions said to do it, so we were just following that.
Hey do you know if this Valance can fit the Roush Axle backs with the quad tips ? Thank you
It won't be a direct fit, but you may be able to modify it to work.
How do you feel about the tips? Me personally don't like the 2 piece tips, throws the look off a bit.
I would have preferred a one piece tip. But, I liked the GT350 rear valence better than the Roush. Took me a long time to decide between the two, but I'm happy with it!
16P51-GT yea i love the look of the gt350 over roush definitely but id cut out those fake tips, its possible isn't?
Brandon and I were talking about it during the install, and it is possible. However, I don't know which other exhausts would work with it after you cut the tips out. And also, I don't think you can buy the rear valence without the exhaust. At least I haven't seen it sold, other than a carbon fiber replica. But, maybe going through a dealership they could order it?
16P51-GT One more question man, about the euro taillights, would you happen to have the link to the wiring diagram on the forums?
16P51-GT Not sure if you know of it yet, but MagnaFlow makes a catback for the GT350 that you literally *have to* cut out the factory, valance-mounted tips off to fit. It retains the flap-activated "active" feature of the GT350 too; not sure about the "fit & finish" to a '16 GT like yours, but may be worth a look, (and it's MagnaFlow so it's a very tame system compared to the FR/Borla kit). Either way, thought I'd just let you know in case of you haven't seen it, the build's coming along nice! Take care bud!
have mine in the garage. waiting to get warm to put on!
I don't have the patience. LOL!
Any trouble with the police with this exhaust?
No, but once I put headers on that may change. LOL!
Hey man not sure if you answered this before but just wondering where you got the 350 valence from? If you can respond that would be great!
A few places sell them, but you can get it from AmericanMuscle.com
I have gt350 axle back with LTH mid pipe so it a full cat back exhaust now
Nice! I know that sounds good!
What company did you buy this exhaust from?
l like getting notifications that you've posted a new vid.
What spoiler is that?
It's the Roush spoiler.
Sounds great and I like the new look.
Thanks!
looking to
get a wider size rear tire . what do you suggest.
What size wheel's are you running?
Another good video and car looks and sounds good !!
Thanks!
That bumper tho! Fucking sick!
I was a little worried about losing the premium color matched piece. But, once I saw the new valence on the car, I forgot about that pretty quick!
Outstanding! Nice Up Grade Man
Thanks!
Man that sounds ridiculous. Has a little bit of GT350 flavor to it while still sounding like a cross plane V8. Easily my favorite GT exhaust.
Thanks, I'm loving it!
Looks and sounds much better.
Thanks, I'm liking it so far!
This Exhuast isn't nearly as loud as the Roush. I just Kept the valance and reinstalled my Roush mufflers without the tip. Then took it to a muffler shop to get a custom tip to accommodate the valance. Not worth $1800
I have this with the Borla sport and love it btw.
I'm loving it too!
I just wish the borla had a full 3" option for the S550 to go with my headers. I will probably swap out my MBRP race for the Corsa Extreme quads one of these days. Just not sure I can go that loud after hearing Brandon's car lol
Yeah, 3" would have been nice. Brandon's car will wake up the dead. LOL!
NGTMare lol I'm thinking about the Corsa extreme quad tip myself. what scares me is that I live next to the police chief in a small town and the guy is a dick. may just settle for the sport
whered u pick up the valence? been debating on whether or not to get the quad tips for my corsa extreme.
DJ T. Americanmuscle
Yep, you can get it from AmericanMuscle.com. But, if you have Corsa's you'll need the Roush valence.
16P51-GT I'm hesitant to change my exhaust because I'm building the funds for the procharger kit now.
Silver Stang I just threw in the jlt cai. hopefully Whipple charger by next year or two
DJ T. I've got Gibson catback, PMAS intake and Lund tune. I'll be doing procharger later this year.
Looks good man
Thanks!
Dope! Sounds and look amazing bro! Two thumbs up!
Thanks!
Nice car bro! what kind of job you got ?
I work in the IT field.
can i be able to do this to my 2015 pp mustang? the rear bumper on mine isnt the two tone
It only works with the premium bumper, unfortunately.
Scott Compton really?
Julio Hernandez yes that's the only other way
Looks and sounds awesome bro! Hey quick question who installed your wheels and tires for you along with the tpms sensor?
Thanks! I ordered them already mounted and balanced with the TPMS sensors included. So, when they arrived I just put them on with help from my brother.
16P51-GT so the tpms sensors already came installed on the wheels? there was no need to activate them? if I make sense
Do you plan on putting some Long tube headers??
Yeah, that'll be one of the next things that I do.
16P51-GT that's can't what to see that video I'm thinking about getting me kooks header 1 7/8 ( no catts)
Nice bro, I was looking into the Roush Quads for my Eco. Just way to expensive for me right now. Think I'm going with the MBRP Race Cat-Back until I can afford the upgrade to the quads.
MBRP makes a good exhaust, especially for the price!
what size are those rims, bro?
20x10
Hey, thanks man! I love how they sit, and the gloss black looks super awesome.
what wheels are those?
CDC Outlaw
thank you sir
I have a 2017 grabber blue gt I’m gonna get corsa extreme exhaust on mine this sounds good though I’m liking the color as well
Sounds good Ali!!
Thanks!
How loud is this compared to corsa extreme?
They're not as loud as the Extreme's in my opinion. But, I may do a comparison video, if I can find someone that has the Extreme's without headers since mine doesn't have headers yet.
I've got the Extremes without headers if you want to compare!
LOOOOVE It!! Where did you buy this?
it is very nice.
look awesome how much I'm I looking to spend because I really need to get this for my gt..
Thanks!
what size are your wheels?
20x10 all the way around
I just Love it,,, I will consider doing it on my GT,,, How Much did it cost you all together if you don't mind asking?
The cat-back version that I got is around $2200, but you can get just the axle-back exhaust with the valence for around $1900.
Hey Thank you my friend for the quick answer, I believe that's what you have to pay to get something as AWESOME.
I bought my GT 2 weeks ago,, did not have the chance to drive it much,, 70 miles on it.
Good video !
Thank you!
sounds great man
Thanks!
Just ordered this and the cutting part is really sketching me out, lol. Hopefully all goes well.
It's pretty easy to do!
Is it me or is it more quiet than your other exhaust?
No, it's a lot louder. About the same from a cold start, but when driving you can definitely tell the difference.
16P51-GT awesome. Sometimes videos don't do justice for sound. My exhaust sounds kind of weird on RUclips but great person.
Yeah, it's hard to capture sound accurately on video. That's why I usually tell people to try and listen to them in person rather than rely on video sound clips.
Nice man that exhaust is like 2 grand on American muscle.
Thanks! I've been enjoying it!
Hi guys , Any one know if I install this to my gt convertible (Australian version ) do I have to do any modifications, I heard I might have to remove the rear braces
If anyone got more information about this will be great
LOVE the way it sounds!!! On a scale of 1-5 (5 being loudest) how loud is the exhaust? BTW, I've always thought the black stipe down the side of your GT looks mean and clean.
Thanks! I've been around some loud cars so, I'd say it's probably a 3. But, I'm sure my neighbors think otherwise. LOL!
I got the same! With gt350R wing 👌👌
Nice! If I didn't have the Roush wing already, I probably would've gone with the GT350 one as well.
Man just wait till ya get some cat deletes or headers in that bad boy!
Headers are definitely going in.
Very nice
Thanks!
Hell yea man
Time for headers 😈😈😈😈😈
Yep!
first like and comment lol I want my Mustang to be like yours when it grows up lol
LOL! What's going on bro?
Nothing much bro schools picked up so sacrifices must be made
I hear ya!
Nice!!
Way better👍🏼👍🏼
Agreed!
Dat price doh....
It's not cheap, but I love it!
badazz👍
Thanks, I'm enjoying it!
get headers
It's on the list. I have a few other things I want to do first. But, they're coming.
Still hate you! Need to get my Roush valance on and bumper painted now!
LOL! Stop slacking bro!
16P51-GT I know, man. Really need to get it done.
